Skis and Skates

  The clock was ticking away. Party Favor felt like he was gonna drown in his own sweat. Night Glider, Sugar Belle, Double Diamond and himself had settled down on the living room floor to play Truth-Or-Dare.

"Okay. I'll go first" confirmed Night Glider with a devilish smile. "Double Diamond. Truth or dare?" She asked.

"Truth" he replied with a nervous smile.

"Answer honestly... Swear you're being honest. Swear on Celestia's life!" Night Glider practically screamed.

"I swear on Celestia's life that I will be honest" He sighed with a small grin.

"Okay. Have you ever peed in the pool?" She asked.

He felt Sugar Belle who was next to him hold her breath.

Double Diamond squirmed. "Yes" he admitted.

Night Glider burst out laughing. Sugar Belle did as well.

"Seriously?" Asked Party  Favor with a smile.

Double Diamond smiled back with a chuckle. "I was a colt, okay?" He laughed.

"Ahhh. Well, okay. Double Diamond, choose" ordered Night Glider, still laughing a little.

"Sugar Belle" Double Diamond said with a smile. "Truth or dare?"

"Truth" giggled Sugar Belle. Her eyes were sparkling with left-over laughter.

"Did you ever choke on anything" He asked randomly.

"I choked on a fish bone once" she admitted as everyone burst out laughing again.

"A fish bone?" Asked Party Favor with a silly grin.

She nodded with a shy grin.

"Okay, Sugar. Choose someone to go next" said Night Glider.

"Party Favor. Truth or dare?" She asked.

Party Favor thought about it. "Truth" he said sheepishly.

"If you could do anything, what would you do?" She asked.

This wasn't such a bad question. "I would make myself fly" Party Favor scuffled his legs and sat down properly.

"Alright. Round two. Serious questions. Like, Sugar Belle, is it true your dog died two days ago?" Asked Night Glider smoothly.

Sugar nodded with a sigh. "Yes. It is true." sniffling a bit, she forced a smile. "Fluttershy helped me through it"

Night nodded in understandment. "Okay. Ask someone now" She said.

"Double Diamond. Have you ever lost your skis?" This wasn't a very sad or dark question, But at least it wasn't 'Have you ever been to Narnia'.

"Nope. Always had them by my side" Replied Double with a triumphant grin. "Okay, Party Favor truth or dare?"

Party Favor thought about it. He just couldn't say dare! "Truth" he mumbled.

"Alright. How many parties do you really throw?" He asked

"Um, like zero. Except when someone asks me then, I do" he laughed.

Double Diamond nodded with a smile. "Night Glider, time for round three" he said.

"Round three. Romance questions and romance dares" She replied with an evil grin.

Party Favor gulped. She was staring straight at him. "Sugar Belle. Truth or dare?" She asked.

"Truth!" she replied nervously.

"How do you really feel about me?" Asked Night Glider.

"I feel like... You're not just my friend... More than that.. It feels like you're my marefriend or wife or something" she replied with a small, tight-lipped smile.

Night Glider awwwe'd and leaned over for a kiss before Double Diamond stopped them.

"Guys. Truth or dare. Not smooch or dare" He said.

"Actually, that's a pretty good idea! Rule change: Either you pick a dare or have to kiss someone... HAVE TO!" she laughed.

"Party Favor, Smooch or dare?" Asked Sugar Belle. If he said smooch he'd probably get to kiss Double Diamond! On the mouth!

"Smooch!" he replied eagerly.

"You gotta kiss Night Glider" she giggled.

Party Favor's face fell. This was going all wrong! He looked at Night Glider who reacted the same way. Suddenly, the door was flung open then slammed shut.

"Starlight Glimmer?" Asked Double Diamond, getting up.

"Oh, hey guys" She sighed as she entered the room ad shook some snow off her coat.

Night Glider exchanged glances with Party Favor.

"Wanna crash here?" Asked Night Glider politely.

Starlight smiled. "Oh, thank you so much! Yes, I would like to spend the night. At least until the storm dies down" She said as she stood there by the doorway.

"Come on! We're playing truth or dare!" said Party Favor, making a spot for her right next to him and Sugar Belle.

"Thank you so much!" Starlight glimmer trotted to the living room and sat down next to him.

"Now, where were we?" Asked Sugar Belle with a smug smile. "Ah yes"

"Party Favor, Kiss Night Glider. Now"

Party Favor gulped and slowly went to Night Glider. She was shifting uncomfortably.

He held his breath and quickly gave her a peck on the mouth.

"EW, EW, BLEH!" he screamed as he galloped to the sink to wash out his mouth.

Sugar Belle and Starlight Glimmer were laughing their heads off. He noticed Double Diamond not laughing at all... In fact... He seemed kind of hurt.

As Party Favor came back he asked Starlight Glimmer, "Smooch or dare?"

Starlight gulped. "Smooch I guess" she mumbled.

"Kiss Sugar Belle" he ordered with a smug grin.

Starlight rolled her eyes and leaned over to Sugar Belle who was ready. He watched as she pressed her mouth against Suagar's mouth in a surprisingly long kiss. From the corner of his eye, he could see Night Glider watching with jealousy.

As Starlight Glimmer leaned back she let out a deep breath. "Okay. Double Diamond. Smooch or dare?" She asked.

Double Diamond smiled bravely. "Dare!" he barked out.

"I dare you to kiss Party Favor. Not smooch. A long kiss" She said with a glint of amusement in her eyes.

He rolled his eyes and scooted to Party Favor.

Party Favor's heart was thumping so hard, It felt like it would pop right out of his chest as Double Diamond neared his face and put his mouth against Party's. There was a wonderful sensation going on inside him. He could feel Double's heart pounding quickly too. But the moment ebbed away as Double Diamond pulled back and glared at Starlight Glimmer.

Party Favor didn't care.

He had gotten to kiss Double Diamond.

On the mouth.
