Load Full StoryNext ChapterRainbow Dash awoke with a heavy groan, feeling thick leather straps holding her against a cold, hard metallic table. The room was bright, and it took her a moment to adjust to the light, and started looking around the room once they were. The walls were all white, and there was a silver table covered by a white medical sheet. Rainbow Dash looked left, and saw a heartbeat monitor, beeping every second, the green lines moving rhythmically with the beeps. She closed her eyes, and tried to decide what to do.
"Open your eyes..."
Rainbow Dash's eyes shot open, looking right and left frantically, trying to find the source of the voice. "W-Who`s there?" Rainbow Dash tried to sound threatening.
"...Over here..." This time the voice croaked in a deathly way, and caused Rainbow Dash to look in front of her. She saw a body mutilated with almost no skin, and black bones was what was mostly showing. The body couldn't possibly be alive, but then it snapped its head toward Rainbow. "Whats wrong?" the body asked. It started to get up, making sickly cracking noises as it walked toward her.
Rainbow Dash blinked and the body disappeared, leaving no remits of the body being there. A heavy metal door opened, and Twilight Sparkle walked through the door with a quill and clipboard leaving through the air. Twilight walked up to Rainbow, and checked her vitals and such. "Twilight, what's going on?" Rainbow cried out. Twilight gave a smile.
"Why, can't you see, i`m experimenting different types stimulants and then going to do a biopsy of your corpse ." Twilight said happily. Rainbow gasped and it took her a second to think.
"W-What! Stimulants! Biopsy! What are you talking about?" Rainbow yelled. At that moment, Rainbow felt a harsh and burning stab in her leg, feeling the fluids from the needle injecting into her. Rainbow screamed in pain, and began to cry. The heart rate monitor started beeping faster and faster, until Rainbow passed out. She woke up seconds later, blinking and awaking in a field. The grass was crunchy, and there was a faint wind, slowly waving, and she felt calm, but something was off, very off, but Rainbowdash could not put her hoof on it. Then she saw the black, boney figure. Rainbow blinked, and the figure was suddenly in front of her.
"You don't know what's happening, do you?" Rainbow shook her head. The deathly looking earth pony cracked her neck. "Are you scared of me?" Rainbow gulped, not knowing weather not to say yes. The pony asked her again. "Are you afraid of me?" Blood started to pour out of the pony`s eyes, but just a small trickle. Rainbow shoved the pony away in fear. The pony fell with a sickening crack against a thick rock, its skull cracking in a horrible way. The pony staggered up, and Rainbow staggered away at the horrifying sight. There was white pupils where its eyes should be, and blood was pouring out at a rate that should be impossible. "You, you bitch" the pony said. The pony suddenly jumped on her, beating her face in, slowly cracking and breaking her muzzle, making Rainbow scream, but she couldn't move, she was pinned by the bone crushing weight of the pony, making her wheeze for air, but all she got was her blood gurgling out of her throat, as it was quickly slitted open.
Rainbow awoke with a sweat. She was hyperventilating, terrified at the effectiveness of the drug. Twilight was standing there scribbling a couple notes. "Hmm, Rainbow, you need to breathe, and calm down, now" Twilight scowled. Rainbow steadied her breathing, and calmed down enough to talk. "I`ll be back in a bit rainbow."
Rainbow was left in the dark to cry.
A while later, lights flickered back on, forcing Rainbow wake to yet again. Her eyes burned with drowsiness, and her body felt like it hadn't moved for a hundred years. Her mind was racing with pain, and she was hoping that she would get out alive. But her hope was destroyed when Twilight came in the room. Why am I so sad to see one of my friends?
Twilight walked up to the IV. "You need to stay awake Rainbow, I can't get proper evaluations if you keep hyperventilating." Twilight then took out another needle and injected it into the IV. Rainbows eyes dilated, and she started feeling chills. All of her senses were highting. Every little sound was ear blistering, every time she twitched, the bindings caused shocking pain, her eyes were being blinded by the light, and she was breathing quicker and quicker, until she finally crashed.
"Oh no no no no no, this is bad! Somepony! Get the defibrillator!" Rainbow could not hear anything else over the ringing.
Fuck, why can't i just stay dead?
Rainbow was in a dark room now, but she could not move. Her entire body was asleep, and every movement elicited pins and needles through her body. Her wings, however, had different plans.
No matter how much she tried to keep her wings still, they just kept beating, kept trying to take flight.
Rainbow stopped thinking about her wings when she saw a black figure move. At least, she thought she did. Rainbow just put it aside when she heard a voice. And cracking noises. And movement within the darkness.
"I`m back..."
Rainbow was now sure there was something there. She started getting up, but was smacked by a heavy and sticky hoove. "Agh!" Rainbow screamed. When she hit the ground, she was greeted with a sickening cracking sound, and she felt some of her rips shatter. The pony walked up, looking straight down at her. He wore a tattered black cloak, and held a Scythe in his hoof. He slowly pulled his other hoof to the scythe, stood up on his hind legs, and swiped. Rainbow felt his blade rip into her skin, cutting her gut open. Her organs fell out, and blood spilled everywhere. Rainbow bled where she laid. Her eyes looked at the pony. Who had pulled down his hood to lick his scythe, but only his skull was to be seen, and his tongue was a burning fire. Rainbowdash took one more wretched breath, before finally letting go.
Twilight looked at the biopsy results, and was pleased. All she had to do was tone down the drugs, and it would be perfect painkillers. "Oh, Rainbow would be so proud!" Twilight squealed, just like she did when she was a little filly. Suddenly, the intercom inside her room cracked to life. "Twilight Sparkle, please go to room 862 A, the Administrator would like to talk with you"
Twilight quickly got up out of her seat and hurried down to the Admins office. She knew that talking to the Admin was either extremely bad, or extremely good. She hoped it was choice B. But she had only been here for a couple of weeks.
When Twilight entered the office, the Admin turned around in his chair. "Hello, Twilight. Please, take a seat" he said in a rather royal voice. Twilight did as she was told, slightly sinking into the artificial leather. "I would like to start by putting off any anxiety aside. I brought you down here for a good thing. Second, let me just get into why you're here. I have another test subject" He smiled, waiting for a response.
"Who is it?" Twilight asked. The Admin simply gave her a permission slip and a chamber key to experiment room 16. A very expensive room. Full of things she could experiment with.
"But," the Admin started"Please don't go too fast on this one" Twilight just nodded. She exited the room, and started down the hall to room 16.
