Chapters An Equestrian Werewolf in Ponyville
After a long drive, two life long friends Teddie Safari and Coco Crusoe finally made it to the country side of Trottingham. they manage to get a ride on a truck that was carrying sheep and after a bout an our on the road the truck stop and the two ponies got out and ask the truck driver which way the nearest town is.
"That way is Proctor, and over here is the moors, I go this way." the truck driver said
"Thanks for the ride, sir, you have lovely sheep." Coco Crusoe said
"Boys, keep off the moors, stick to the roads. The best to ya..." the truck driver said
"Thanks again." Coco Crusoe said
Then he walked up to the sheep and said
"Bye girls we'll miss you." he said
As the truck pulled away Teddie Safari said
"Those sheep shit on my pack."
They hike for miles until they came upon an old style pub
"The Slaughtered Lamb?" Teddie asked reading the name of the pub
"Of course, The Slaughtered Lamb ,why else would they have a severed fox head on a spear as their symbol?" Coco said
"That's a wolf's head." she said correcting him
"Of course, The Slaughtered Lamb, why else would they have a severed wolf's head on a spear as their symbol?" he said
"That's not a spear it's a pike." she said
"A severed wolf's head on a pike as their symbol." he said again
"Coco, before we go in there I want you to know that - no matter what happens to us - it's your fault." she said
"I assume full responsibility." he said
"Okay." she said
"Shall we?" he said
As they entered the pub they were hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke and beer, As they walked around the pub Teddie accidentally bumped into a stallion, who was playing darts, and made him miss the board
"You made me miss." the stallion said angrily
"Sorry." Teddie said
I've never missed that board before." he said approaching her
He lifted his hoof and right before he brought it down the pub owner said
"If your gonna act like this then your not welcome here in my bloody pub, you got that." he said
The stallion mumbled something and headed back to the table where his friends sat.
"Sorry about that, folks around here are a bit of no good bloody soldiers." he said
"That okay, where wondering if you can tell us how to get to Trottingham from here." Coco asked
"Yes I can." he left the bar from a second leaving Teddie and Coco there along a mist of strangers
He came back a few moments later carrying a map. He laid the map on the desk of the bar and said this is where you are right now pointing to the pub on the map if you north 2 miles from here you'll find a village, with a very kind taxi buiness they will serly take you where you need to go.
"Thanks you so much you are very kind, sir." Teddie said
as they left they heard two ponies say something to them that they found disturbing
"Stay on the road, keep clear of the moors." a drunk stallion said
"Beware the moon, lads." a chess player said
As they exited they talked about the warnings
"What was that all about." Coco asked
"I don't know bloody gibberish if you ask me." Teddie said
As they continued on they started to hear a noise follow them. then Coco heard what sounded like a growl
"What was that?" he asked
"Maybe it's a sheep dog... let's keep going." she said
"It's a full moon." he said looking up at the clear night sky
Then they both remembered the warning they received
"Beware the moon..." they said together
"I vote we go back to the Slaughtered Lamb." she said
"I second that vote." he said
On their way back to the pub the noise they heard a while ago started again this time they were louder
"Did you hear that?" Coco asked
I heard that." Teddie said
"What was it?" he asked again
"Could be a lot of things." she said
"Like what." he asked
"A coyote." she said
"There aren't any coyotes in Trottingham. he said
"The Hound of Tenochtitlan Basin." she said remembering the famous Sherlock Hooves book
"Pecos Bill." he said
"Heathclop." he said
"Heathclop didn't howl!" she said angrily
'No, but he was on the moor." he said
"Ah, fuck, Coco... what IS THAT?" she said interrupting him
Just then a large creature appeared out off the bush and stared them directly in their eyes
The creature was huge about 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide was covered from head to feet in a mix of silver and dark brown hair and had teeth as sharp as knives.
"Just walk back slowly." he said
As they walked back still staring at the creature in front of them then Teddie accidentally stepped on a branch and made a loud CRACK
The creature then started to charge towards them on all four legs and then he jumped and pounced onto Teddie and started to maul her, ripping her face right off revealing her veins and some bones then he grabbed her hooves with his claw and ripped it right off leaving only a hole where bones and muscles once laid
While this was going on Coco started to run for his life running as fast as he can. He manage to run at least a mile away he stopped to take a breath and looked back and saw nothing, but when he turned back around his nuzzle was inches away from the creature chest he then said a short prayer right before the creature tackled him to the ground and used its claw split open his belly and started to rip out all of his organs one by one taking a bite one of each one as he did.
Then all of the screaming stopped but the silence was short lived when a loud bloodthirsty howl filled the night sky

At Ponyville's Morgue
Twilight and Flash were walking with the undertaker on their way to see the mauled bodies
"I'm surprised you wanted to see the bodies princess not many ponies do." the undertaker said
"Well I believe a pony could have done it rather than this mysterious creature that everypony is talking about." Twilight said
"Well I be in this business for 20 years and believe me I've not seen anything like it." he said
AS they entered the room were the two bodies laid on separate tables with a blanket laying on top of them.
"Well the first one we have is a Coco Crusoe born in Manehatten and would have been 25 years old this Monday." the undertaker said
As he lifted the blanket off of him Twilight and Flash was both shocked as the damaged done to the body, the entire stomach area was tron apart, half of his face was nothing but bones and pieces of flesh still attached to the bones.
"What kind of pony could do this?" Flash asked
"Again I don't think anypony is capable of this."
Twilight, who was noticeable sick to her stomach at the site of the body got herself together and said
"Lets see the next body."
"Are you sure because the next one is worst than this one." the undertaker said
"You heard the Princess." Flash said
"Okay, okay just don't say I didn't warn you." he said
As they approached the next table the undertaker started to describe the name of this victim
"Here we have Teddie Safari, 24 years old lived in Ponyville until the age of 21, then moved away to live with her friend which so happen to be laying right there." he said pointing to the body they saw a couple of minutes ago.
As he lifted the blanket off of the body, both Flash and Twilight were mortify at the sight of it. Her entire face has been ripped off and chewed on, she was missing her left eye and her right eye is hanging out by its cord, her left arm was nothing but bones and tissues, there was nothing top say about the right arm because somehow it has be torn off completely leaving only broken bones and muscles from where it was. Both of her legs were chewed down to the femur. Twilight couldn't look at it anymore and looked away until the undertaker put the blanket back on top of the body.
"I could understand the other one could have been at the hooves of a pony, but this......this is animistic, no pony is capable of doing such a thing." Twilight said
"That why I said before that nopony is capable of something this brutal." the undertaker said
"Well what do you think it is." Flash said trying to comfort Twilight
"I honestly don't know." he said
"I may know somepony who might know." Twilight said
"Who?" Flash asked
"Zecora." she said

Luna arrived at the Rainbow Castle just shortly after sundown, as she meet up with Twilight and Flash they headed twoards the libary when they opened the door the saw and unexpected guest reading an scroll
The pony had a black coat and a dark blue mane and tail, his eyes were a silver color and he was holding a cane with a head of a wolf on the top of it.
"Ah finally you arrived Princess Luna, I've been waiting for you." the mysterious pony said
"Who are you and what are you doing here." Flash demanded putting his hoof at the hilt of his sword
"No need to get all angry Flash Sentry, the name's Lunar Moon and I'm am here for the same reason the Princess's here for information." he said
"Flash why don't you get us some refreshment." Twilight said
"Sure thing your highness." Flash said walking out of the library
"What kind of information." Luna asked
"Information involving the two dead ponies found mauled in the woods of Trottingham." he said
"How do you know about that." Twilight asked
"Because I'm the one who brought the bodies here of course." lunar said
"You did?" Twilight asked
"Yes I did." Lunar said
"Why do you seek information." Luna asked him
"Because I believe I know what was responsible for the murders." he said
"Who is responsible." she asked
"Well I'm not going to tell you, well at least not right now, but I brought a book that might be helpful for your reasearch." he said giving Luna a book
"Legends and Curses." Luna read the title
"Yes there is a passage in there that I find intrigue, it goes like this "I believe a pony lost in the mazes of their own mind may imagine that their anything." Lunar said but then added
"There's something very tragic about that pony... and I'm sure that nothing but harm will come to you through them."
"Why are you helping us?" Luna asked
"Your cutie mark represent the moon does it not?" he asked
"Of course why you asked?" Luna said
"Well so does mine." he said showing her his cutie mark which is that of a full moon
"How did you get it."
"Well lets just say i am very interested in the the stars." he said very cryptic
"So your like an astronomer." Twilight said
"All astronomers are amateurs. When it comes to the heavens, there's only one professional." he said angrily
"Who." Luna asked
"You of course." Lunar said to her
Luna blushed at the commet
"Why not use a telescope?" Twilight asked
"Well, no, you see, a telescope has a mighty sharp eye. It brings the stars so close that you feel you can almost touch them." Lunar said
"Well from now on I'll be sure to draw the curtains." Luna said smiling at him
"Oh, don't do that, I mean, not on account of me." he said
"I mean, well, you know what I mean." Luna said
"Yes, I'm afraid I do." he said
"Now will you tell us who done it." Twilight asked
"I have told you what caused the death you just don't know it yet." he said
"THAT'S IT I HAVE ENOUGH OF YOUR GAMES TELL US WHO IS RESPONSIBLE NOW!" Luna shouted
"Fine, fine turn to page 666 of the book." he said
They turned the book to the page number and saw a strange looking symbol, it was a seven point star with a circle around it
"What is this?" Luna asked
It's a pentagram, it is a sign ." Lunar said
"A sign of what?" Luna asked
"The sign of the Werewolf." he said
"That’s just a legend though, isn’t it?" Twilight asked
"Yes, but like most legends, it must have some basis in fact. It’s probably an ancient explanation of the dual personality in each of us. How does it go? “Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and Autumn moon is bright.” Lunar stated
Both Twilight and Luna were left speechless

It was close to 10 p.m. when a pony named Minty came out of the Hospital after working so late. She decided to take a sort cut threw the woods, but while she was walking she started to hear branches braking as if something was following her. She started to walk faster and faster, but as she saw the exited something leaped out of the bushes and tackled her back into the forest. When she opened her eyes she notice she was staring at an animal of some kind, but before she could scream the animal bite and ripped out her throat preventing her from speaking, then it started to claw her face and body as it also started to ea out her heart then after it was done it let out a loud howl that was heard by almost everypony in Ponyville.
Meanwhile in the Rainbow Castle
"Twilight may I ask you a question?" Luna said
"Sure, what do you what Luna." Twilight asked
"What do you think of Lunar Moon?" Luna asked
"I think he's very smart and very imaginative." Twilight said and then added "Why do you think of him?"
"I think he's smart, handsome, and the ways his eyes sparkle as you look him into the eyes." Luna said but was cut off when Twilight said
"It sounds like you have a crush on him." Twilight said
"What, no I don't!" Luna said as she blushed
"well your blushing said otherwise."
Then they were quit when Luna asked twilight
"So... how are you and Flash?"
"Oh were find he just meet my parents and they like him alot."
"He must be a qutie a stallion in the bedroom." Luna said teasing her
"Yea he is." Twilight said blushing
"So what's he like." Luna asked
"Well as we make love he touches me like I've never been touched before, when he kisses my neck it feels like I'm on could nine, and his hooves creases my sides and wings and I get a feeling that we will be together forever."
"He sounds like the perfect mate for you."
"Can I tell you a secret?" Twilight asked Luna
"Sure." Luna said
"I think Flash might be planning to popose to me."
"What." Luna almost screamed
"Shhhhh, it's just a theory and I need you to keep it secret, you have to pinkie promise me
"Very well, I cross my heart hope to fly and stick a cupcake in my eye." Luna said
"Thank you." Twilight said
Just than the doors open and Flash and Lunar came running in panicking
"Your highness you need to get down to the Everfree Forest right now." Flash said panicking
"Why, what's going on?" Twilight asked
"There's been another attacked." Lunar said
"Who was attacked." Luna asked
"A twenty six year old mare by the name of Minty." Flash said
"Why do we need to go down there now?" Twilight asked
"Because we believe the attacker is still in the area." Lunar said
Luna and Twilight got up and left the castle as they ran on the path that lead to the attacked mare

It was an early morning in Ponyville in the Rainbow Castle, Twilight woke up in her bedroom after a long night of research, then her bedroom door open and in came her coltfriend Flash Sentry
"Well look who's up." Flash said
"It's not my fault that I had to stay up late, I had to do some research on an important subject." Twilight said
"Every subject to you is important." he said teasing her
"Ha ha very funny." she said
"Well you better get up were having breakfast in a few minutes
After Twilight and Flash finished eating Flash went out to get the mail, and that is when Spike entered the room and said
"Wow Twilight your up already."
"Yeah Flash woke me up."
"Really did he do anything else."
Twilight blushed at the comment and said "No he just woke me up that's it."
"Really."
"Twilight." Flash said as he entered the room
"What Flash?" she asked
"Read this." he said putting the newspaper in front of her
"Two ponies found brutally mauled to death in Trottingham by an unknown creature." Twilight read the highlight
"This story is being covered by all the major newspaper businesses even the Manehatten Times." he said
"Flash I need your police connections." she said
"Why?" he asked
"Because I want to take a look at those bodies.
Meanwhile at the entrance of Ponyville a stallion that has a black coat, a blue colored mane and tail, and a full moon as a cutie mark has arrived.

In The Ruby Heart (Ponyville's greatest restaurant)
"So what would you be having to day." the waitress asked a pony
"Umm some coffee and a salad would do." the pony said
"And what's your name."
"Lunar Moon" he said
"Your order will be out in a moment." she said as she walked away
Then a member of Princess's Twilight Royal Guard came in and sat in the chair across from him
"I got your message, what do you want."
"First off, nice to finally meet you Silver Shield." Lunar said
"How do you know my name, you know what it doesn't matter, now I will only ask this once more, what do you want." Silver said
"I want to assist Princess Luna in her research she's doing." Lunar said
"How do you know about that, only the other three Princesses knows about it." Silver said
"Have you ever walk into a situation where you know exactly what's going to happen, and then you go into it anyway and then when what you're afraid of happens, you kick yourself because you should have known better. But that's just who you are... so you keep punishing yourself." Lunar said
"Yes?" Silver asked
"Well that's how I found out." Lunar said
"You want something else don't you."
"I want you to provide me transport to Canterlot so I may speak to Princess Luna myself
"I don't think that's necessary." Silver said
"And why is that?" Lunar asked
"Well it's just so happen that Princess Luna is coming to visit Princess Twilight in hope in getting some books for her research."
"What time will she be arriving?" Lunar asked
"In about a half an hour." Silver said
"Then I best be getting on my way." Lunar said
"Why are you doing this." Silver asked
"Because ponies are going to tell you who you are your whole life, but you've just got to punch back and say, "No, this is who I am." If you want ponies to look at you differently, make them. If you want to change, things you are going to have to go out there and change them yourself."
And with that Lunar Moon got up and left the restaurant
Meanwhile at the Rainbow Castle
"I can't believe Zecora wasn't there." Twilight said
"Well somepony did say she left town for an important meeting back in her country." Flash said
"Speaking of important things we best get ready for Luna arrival here." she said
"If only Pinkie Pie didn't have a family holiday to go to than she would have thrown a party for her arrival." he said
"Yea all of my friends are out of town for a month, Rarity and Sweetie Bell had to help out with a runway show in Manehatten, Rainbow Dash is at Rainbow Falls doing Wonderbolt training, Applejack has gone on a family get together with Apple Bloom and Big Mac, Starlight is in the Crystal Empire visiting Sunburst, and finally Fluttershy and Discord are off to watch the Breezies Migration." she said
"Well we have a lot of work to do so we better get started." he said

As Twilight, Luna, Flash and Lunar raced to the scene they already notice a crowd surrounding the body. they had to squeeze throught thr crowd it\n order to inspect the body. When the saw the scene the mare face was mangled, her left and right fore-hooves were chewed down to the bone, almost all of her inner organs were exposed, but was missing one of her liver and kidneys.
"Did anypony see what did this." Luna asked the crowd
Then a single mare stepped forward and said
"It was a wolf that did this, I saw it eating her then it saw me and ran away."
But before she could continue Lunar interrupted her and said
"It wasn't a wolf... it was a werewolf!" Lunar said
Then all of a sudden a loud howl was heard and everypony turned their heads to where it came from and there standing silhouetted against the moon was the beast. It had pointy ears and a large pointed jaw that was covered in blood, its body was the size of a large Timberwolf, it's claws was sharp and was also covered in blood. It was standing on two legs, but the moment all eyes laid on it it crouched down on all four and retreated back into the woods
"EVERYPONY AFTER IT!" Luna screamed
Everypony split up in order to covered more ground. As Lunar investigated he held his cane as tight as possible than he heard a deep growl coming from a nearby bush, he began to walk slowly towards the bush and then BANG a flock of birds came flying out of the bush. Lunar gave a quick sigh of relief, but then as he turned around he came face to face with the werewolf. The beast then leaped at him pinning him to the ground, Lunar manage to block his mouth with his cane, but that didn't stop it from clawing his body and causing him to bleed. Then he notice the sun was rising and the werewolf released him, he notice that this was his chance he raised up his cane and started to beat it multiple times, but that didn't stop him from attacking him as it was on he ground some how he mange to grab his arm and take a bit out of it before he fell on the ground and started to die. He felt relived and heard the hunting party getting closer
"HEY OVER HERE I GOT IT." Lunar said
But before he could continue he fell down and began to lose conciseness
