Spike had discovered that he could naturally grow in size from an ancient dragon nap that would consume 5 years of his already-expanded lifetime. As he went into a dormant sleep, he was leaving behind the safety and well-known Equestria that he had grown to know and love. What he would discover in his re-awakening would forever change his life, and a new evil force begins to lay siege to everything he holds near and dear to him. The solution to this new evil has already been supplied, and he has had a hand in it, whether he volunteered willing or not
