A Change for the Better

It was a beautiful morning in ponyville, the sun was shining brightly, the birds were singing and chirping while some birds feed their young ones, two squirrels were climbing a tree in search for an acorn, one squirrel took the acorn from the tree but the other one was trying to steal it, they tugged the acorn until one’s claw/hand/paw slipped and the acorn fell from the tree and onto angel  bunny’s head.

Angel massaged his head from the acorn that fell, he stomps his foot repeatedly and glares at the two squirrels who just whistled with their paws/claws/hands behind their back. “Now, now angel,” a sweet angelic voice had called out for angel, he turned his head to the direction where the voice came from, it was actually Fluttershy.

She draw nearer to angel and grabbed the acorn using her mouth, she flapped her wings gracefully then flew to the two squirrels above, she dropped the acorn at ones squirrel’s paw/hand/claw and spoke gently “It is important for everypony to get along especially with animals, so I want you to share, okay?” Both of the squirrels looked at each other then gave a huge grin toward fluttershy. Fluttershy giggled and landed on the surface, she gave angel a pet on the head and exited to continue on feeding her chickens while she carries the basket full of seeds with her. Angel took a glimpse on the two squirrels then followed to wherever fluttershy was feeding.

“Here you go-“ fluttershy scatters a bunch of seeds on the ground –“ plenty for everyone.”

As the chickens peck on the seeds, she scattered another bunch of seeds on another area which attracted more chickens to gather and eat. Now that the chickens have been fed she flew near a bird’s house then pour a minimum amount of seeds on their tiny bowls.

She hums a beautiful melody while she feed the birds but that was interrupted when she was thrown by an acorn, she turned around and looked below to see angel stomping his foot.

       “What is it angel?-“ Fluttershy descended toward angel “- is there something you want to tell me?”, Angel rubbed his belly to give Fluttershy a hint .

        “Oh you’re hungry, since you have reminded me I think I have already prepared something special for you, wait here,” Fluttershy said politely as she flew inside her cottage.

Angel slurped while hopping with excitement, hoping what her owner will bring him is something he really wanted to have since last year.

Fluttershy brought angel with a bowl on her hoof “- I know that you been craving for me to make you THIS.”

Angel stared at the bowl with astonishment, he gave another slurp when fluttershy was about to place the bowl on the ground “- here it is.” He was about to dig in but was surprised to see that it was a “Spinach salad”, that salad was his very first favourite one but he moved on to a different salad which is supposedly to be a “Carrot salad”, being frustrated by the outcome he was about to kick the bowl when, “I bet you are-“ Fluttreshy glee while she closes her eyes “- so happy right now ,you have no idea how much effort I put on that salad.”

Angel Felt guilty of rejecting the salad her owner brought him even though he knows that making a salad was an easy Peachey task but because of how fluttershy was smiling he couldn’t bring himself to make her upset, so he took a spinach from the salad and starts eating it. Surprisingly, he really enjoys the flavour.

“Now you enjoy your meal while I still feed the rest of the animals, okay?”- Fluttershy left angel behind –“okay.”

While Angel was munching on the spinach he gazes on the rest of the animals that was still eating their food, the animals of the same species shared food with each other and sometimes would share for the rest to eat as well, probably that was fluttershy’s influence he also noticed that a group of rabbits were munching on a pile of carrots. Although, he doesn’t have any animal to sit and eat with him he is just glad he is fluttreshy’s pet so he could have all the great food he wants and would want it all for himself. Taking a last bite of the spinach he munched another one peacefully.

      Suddenly his ears flinch which he heard a faint yelp, he tries to track down were the faint yelp was coming from by listening carefully and with every sound his ears flinch, it appears the faintly sound was emitting behind him. With a quick glance, he was shocked to see a four legged creature exiting the Everfree in a slow pace and with a final yap it collapsed on the ground.

By the sight of the outcome, the creature must be exhausted or hurt, he couldn’t fully make out what the creature’s appearance is from the distance, but all he knows is that it came from the Everfree forest which could possibly mean the creature must be dangerous or just a victim to danger. Angel was shivering wether he should tell Fluttershy about it or leave it, what if the creature badly needs help? What if he is just another danger that will attack sooner or later? He couldn’t exactly think straight due to panicking so he just did what he had to do, he swiftly rushed to fluttershy and tug her tail and pointing at the direction where the creature has fallen.

Fluttershy was about to give a square cheese to the mouse but she  noticed that her pink softly mane was being pulled she turned around to see angel, “Angel?” she asked with confusion “What’s the matter?”

Angel tries to point both fingers at the direction in terror to let Fluttershy perceive that ‘it is an Emergency’.

Fluttershy was still trying to figure out her pet’s problem “uhm angel? If some animal want to eat a salad with you I think it is for the best for you to share so that way you won’t grow as a greedy bunny.”- Fluttershy pets angel’s head “-okay.”

Angel places a paw on his face due to the fact that Fluttershy didn’t get him at all. He attempted to tug fluttershy’s tail again, she gave a heavy sigh and attempts to smile at her pet bunny and as of again Angel was pointing at the direction in terror.

“Angel, please,” said Fluttershy, she turned back to the mouse and she felt that her tail was being pulled again Fluttershy doubt that her pet bunny will leave her alone so she exclaimed her same sentence before “Angel, please!”

Her bunny was still pointing at the direction as of before, Fluttershy who was slightly annoyed gazes at the direction her bunny was pointing out “- What is that you’re even…?”, A slightly annoyed expression of fluttershy was replaced with a worried and frightful one, She sees something lying on the ground outside of the everfree, Same as angel, she couldn’t make out what it is but without hesitation she rushes toward whatever was lying on the ground, Angel followed her behind.

      “Oh Dear, Oh My-“ Fluttershy galloped as quickly as she could she stopped when she got closer to the creature with a closer view she was able to make out what it is….. it’s a Fox?, the fox’s fur seemed to have a  hue of red, its ears and bushy tail were the hue of black, its claws were sharp and pointed, like all other furry animals it is very furry, its nose is pointed, its height when it stands on four legs is similar to winowa’s height, applejack’s dog. By just observing it, Fluttershy could already tell that the fox was badly hurt or been thrashed severely with number of bruises or wound on its body and its ankle seemed to have sprained. (I’m sorry I’m not really good at describing.)

Fluttershy tries to lean closer to the fox’s body in order to distinguish if its heart was still pumping or not. Thankfully, the fox was still breathing but it doesn’t imply it will last any longer without being taken to a medical care. Fluttershy was in panic but she managed to remain calm and helped the injured animal by scoping it up with her wing and place it in her back.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you, I promise,” Fluttershy was anxious about the situation especially when she took a glimpse on the wound bleeding, if the bleeding won’t stop, death is inevitable.

Angel managed to reach fluttershy due to his difficulty of catching up, he saw the creature behind fluttershy but it was actually just an innocent little animal who was like been tortured by a monstrous feline but what surprised him most is that the animal managed to survive or escaped whatever terrible danger it has been through.

“C’mon Angel-“ Fluttershy ran as quickly as possible “- we better get this poor fellow to a medical clinic or hospital before the pain will get worse!” , angel had never seen his owner this terrified before, well being with her all the time he knows this is the first time fluttershy actually had seen an animal in an agony of pain, and this was his first time aswell.

Without furthermore,  Angel Followed Fluttershy behind promptly.
