chapter 1: the beginning
Hi my name is Monsoon Cresent and this story is about my life and all the friends I met who affected my life. It all started when my mom Nightmare Moon gave birth to me and at a very young age I studied the dark arts but never accomplished anything with it. So I gave up trying to gain power until one day I met a strange being named Queen Chrysalis. She approached me and whispered in my ear that she could grant me my wish for power of the dark arts and without thinking I accepted the deal, but little did I know that this offer came with a price. She stuck out her hoof which looked like swiss cheese and she said to shake her hoof if I want the offer and I did but as soon as I touched her hoof a black fungus like spore went in my arm and spread all over my body until I was completely coated with it and then I passed out. When I woke up I felt stronger than ever before and it felt good to have dark power coursing through my veins and I was surprised to see that somehow I was transported to ponyville but my mother was no where to be found. I called for my mother but there was no reply so I began to worry about her, I started running throught ponyville when suddenly I bumped into a yellow pegasus with pink hair she was talking to her bunny which I assumed that it was her pet.
