Vinyl found a package on her doorstep a week later. It was addressed to Melody and Vinyl. She took the package inside the house to Melody and took off the letter attached and opened it to read. The text was spidery. Dear Melody and Vinyl Scratch. I realise what I did is... Unforgivable. But I thought that I’d try to make it up for you anyway. Please accept my sincerest apologies and I believe that I now believe that you are right. I am indeed narrow minded. Sincerely: Octavia. Vinyl smiled slightly. “Well, I guess she’s finally come to her senses.” Melody frowned. “Perhaps.” The package was large. Very large. Vinyl unwrapped it slowly and her eyes went wide. “Mel...” Both mare’s eyes went wide. Inside was a violin case. Melody opened it slowly, revealing a beautiful violin and bow. It was carved as though it was made of flowing water, a Pegasus with spread wings coming out from one side. “A... violin...” A note was attached to the underside of the lid.
