Nurse red heart slept in her bed, enjoying her comfort of soft sheets covering her. untill a loud buzzing noise blasted from a alarm clock to the side of her bed, repeating the sound every few seconds
"I-Im UP, im up!" said the tired nurse. She than slamed her hoof on the snooze button of her alarm clock. Removing the sheets , she got out of bed a begain her normal morning routine. Mainly the usual, taking a shower, brushing her mane, and eating breakfeast.
Afterwords she put on her on uniform, her basic nurseing cap and headed of to her job at the hospital.
She loved her job, she loved the patients, the doctors, and her fellow nurses. But as much as she loved it, the last few days had been strange. The last few patients that had checked in strangly all had the same condition, each one not even related to other. But she just shruged it off and just asumed it was all just coincidence.
She than walked through the door and into the hospitail.
" Morning everypony." she shouted
" Morning red heart." said a red stallion with a blonde mane standing behind the front desk of the lobby, reading a news paper.
" How are you doing donnr?" red heart said.
"Im doing good, you won't belive it we just got three more ponies with same symptoms like the others"
" again?"
" Yeah. Im telling ya somethings spreading around."
" Maybe, im just hoping the doctors can find a cure."
" Ooh, i almost forgot. A new doctor just joined the hosptal"
" Thats great, this place could use anouther doctor or two. Well i gotta go check in, see ya later"
Nurse red heart than walked out of the lobby and into the "employees only" room. She than picked up a clip bored,that was attached to the wall, with a list of the names of the diffrent doctors and nurses with check marked boxes on the side. She looked over the bored and found her name with a unmarked box. she than checked it off, marking that she was here for work. She stared at the bottom of clip bored,looking at a name she had never heard of.
" Dr.time turner?' she said to her self qustioning the name. The box next to the name was unmarked.
" He must not be here today." Nurse red heart heard hoof steps behind her. She turned and saw a brown stallion, wearing a red bowtie and white doctors coat, standing infront of her.
"Oh hello. you must be one of nurses." he said
" Why yes i am, im nurse red heart. are you Dr. time turner?'
" Yes i am, you can just call me doctor though." He said with a smile. Nurse red heart replied with grin, handing him the clipbored. He checked the box next to his name and gave the clip bored back to the her.
"So are you new to ponyville?, i don't think ive seen you before."said Nurse red heart
"No actually, i um stop by every once and a while. But today ive decided to uh take up a job here to earn some pay."
"Oh well here we at the hospitail, we make pretty good pay." Nurse red heart walked towards the entrance of the room, getting ready to step out.
"ill see you around." she said smileing,steping out
"See you around, ill be um-." Time turner said looking at the clip board. "ill be checking in on patients."Nurse red heart turned around. "oh really?, than you can come with me,that one of my jobs here other than helping out the doctors." she said
"Excellent, lets go than." He said,walking with her out of the room and attaching the clip bored back on the wall. The two than walked up the stairs to second floor of the hospitail.
"So have you been in ponyville long."said Time turner
"Oh yeah,all my life."
"Really?"
"Yep, i was born here in this hospitail."
"Wow, interesting."
The two than walked down a hallway that had five doors on each side,steping into one of them.
"So this is one of the patients?", time turner said as he steped through the door.
"Yes he is, his been her for the past mounth." Nurse red heart said, walking over to the side of the patients bed and rubbing his head. The stallion's head was very warm, his was as red as a tomato, as he slept in the bed. Time turner steped over to the front of the bed and picked up the clip bored that was attached to it. He scrowled he eyes down to the words "symptoms". He read and saw that the patient had a major fever,dialated pupils, rapid heart beat, and nausea.
"And his been like this for four weeks?" Time turner said, looking up from the clip bored to look at nurse red heart.
"Yes, we actually have no idea whats wrong with him, as far as i know theres not a dissese in equstria that shows these kind of symptoms."
"intersesting."
Both of them than walked out of the room, walking back to back from the diffrent rooms in the hallway. There was one thing that striked Time turner as odd though, most of the patients had the same symptoms as the first one he had met. Like Nurse red heart, most of the employees just figured it was just a conicedence.
"So is this your first day working at a hospitail?" Nurse red heart said as they steped out of the last room
"What? Oh no, ive been to few. Im a real traveler."
"Oh, well lets hope you'll stay working here."
"Eh well you never know i could keep a job here."
The two than walked back down the stairs, finshing there work.
"Well it looks like its lunch time, would you like to join me?" Nurse red heart said, turning to face him
"Sure, but first i need to get something."
Time turner than ran up the stairs leaveing Nurse red heart to wait. Time turner ran into the room with the first sleeping patient he had encountered. He than pulled out a strange pen looking device out of a pocket on his doctors coat. The object was a silver color with a blue light at the end and a small black button on the side. He pressed the device on to the patients fore head, pressing the button causing the blue light to turn on and making a buzzing noise. Time turner pulled the device from the patients head and looked at the device.
"Same thing, as Manehatten. These patients have the same Brainwaves."
"Same what?" said Nurse red heart, steping in the room
Time turner jumped with suprise.
"Oh!, N-nouthing. Same um Heart?" He said, quickly shoveing the device back in his pocket. Nurse red heart gave him a look of qustion and strangeness.
"Um ok?, did you find what you were looking for?"
"Um yes, yes. I found my-" Time turner looked all over the room serching for an answer to finsh his sentence. As he did he looked and saw clock on a night stand next to the patients bed.
" -My alarm clock." He said, running over to the night stand and picking the clock up.
"Your clock?" Nurse red heart said qustioning him.
"Yes i really need it to um keep track of time."
Nurse red heart didn't even bouther to continue the conversation. She simply just said ok and walked out of the room with Time turner following her. She than thought to her self: "Well his gonna be interesting to work with.
