Prologue: 9:30pm - 11:59pm
"Another sleepless night" Twilight says as she walks from her bed to her window looking over the sleepy town of ponyville. "I just dont get it I've been a princess long enough to feel like one.....but why don't i feel like one".
"Come one Twi I'm sure it just takes time to get into the swing of being a princess" Spike says holding a rarity plushie. "You saved equestria on more than one occasion, hell you even saved the other equestria from Sunset Shimmer and the Syrens you're like a transdimensional hero or som...som...."
With that spike burps and a letter with the royal seal swirls out of his mouth and in front of Twilight.
"Twilight, we need to talk the other princesses are here and this is a matter of your safety and all of ponyville and extends into Equestria itself. Hurry to canterlot castle it's dire."
Celestia~
"Spike we need to go to canterlot right now, I don't have much time to explain, I don't know what it's all about but this......this is nothing like I've heard before." Twilight says running out the door and up to canterlot castle.
Somewhere in a dark alley in Ponyville, a few ponies are drinking and pissing on the new princess.
"Pff what has this princess ever did for us" one of the ponies says drinking some cider
"I'm not sure but fuck her, she's apparently the "Princess of friendship" and that's all." The other pony says leaning into make out with his mare friend. "fuck what time is it? I mean i have to go to work tomorrow."
"It's like 11:50 or something like that" The drunk pony says trying to look at his watch
"Right well im off ill talk with you guys later"
"Night"

the pony makes his way to his house, feeling as if something isn't right with him, as if he isn't himself.
"what the fucks happening to me?" he says as his vision starts to blur. "tch....why....what...hu!?" he say in a shocked surprise.
The pony looks at the ground and this dark pool of what looks like ink starts to pool around his hoofs. His body starts to sink as he feels his hoofs start to melt into the sludge. "AHHHHH HEL!" he starts to scream before his mouth melts into the sludge like substance. The pony starts to writhe in pain as the last parts of his body becomes a mass of sludge, a shadow of his former self.
"I'm here what did you want! What's going on? Why is equestria in trouble?" Twilight says running into the main chamber of Canterlot Castle. "Is this something to do with discord and something that he's done in the past that we have yet to discover?"
Twilight rambles on and on before Luna stops her with a wave of her hoof. "Twilight, this has nothing to do with Discord. This is something more mysterious than you can imagine." Luna says before Celestia starts to speak.
"What if I told you that there is a hidden hour between 11:59pm and 12:00am?" Celestia says.
"I would think you guys are crazy and that you're playing some sick joke on me." Twilight says defensively.
"Well that is not the case here Twilight, it is very real. There is a hour that is hidden we call it "The Dark Hour". Celestia Says. "This hour is only viewable by ponies that have a "Gift" most sleep in coffins...." Twilight interjects quickly with fear in her voice "Coffins?! What do you mean by coffins?"
" It means they don't have the gift twilight only some have it and it still a mystery why some have it and others don't" She says trying her best to answer the question Twilight gave to her. "When it happens so they do not fully experience it. We brought you here to see if you have the "gift" so this way we can take the next course of action."
"Next course of action?" twilight says to all the princesses.
"We just need to make sure you are ready for the task for this task is the biggest one you have faced in along time twilight." Cadence says to her hugging your friend in fear that something might happen to her.
"Whatever it is I'm sure I can handle it." Twilight says smiling. "I've handled so much in the past from Discord messing with ponyville to the end of Equestria. Whatever this is it should be cake."
Celestia looks at Twilight for a long moment without saying anything, then takes a deep breath. "Well i have faith in you my faithful student, I trust your judgment on this one."
With that, they look at the castle and stare at it anticipating what is going to happen to the castle when the clock strikes midnight.
Twilight looks at the castle with a sinking feeling in her stomach like something isn't right with it. Something she hasn't felt before. Her eyes widen as she watches luna move the moon to uncover the castle before the final change.
