I stare out the window watching the rain, and wonder the things happening right now. Right this second. Why is it raining? Because most
ponies would expect a book to start with rainbows and sparkles....But no. This story starts raining for one reason, and one reason only. Well I think
so, but I'm not sure.
It all started back a week ago, when Shining dumped me. It's not the thing a coltfriend could ever want. Then somepony walked
through the door. It was Braeburn. "Hey, Brae." I said depressingly. "Howdy Glimmer." He said. Also depressingly. "Still hurtin?" He asked. "A little."
I responded. "Kay." He said. Then I heard him walking up to me. I didn't bother looking. Then he brought his mouth up to my ear, and started
nibbling on the tip. I shove him, "Hey! No cheating!" I laughed. "It ain't cheatin if...if" He tried to think of something to say but couldn't. "That's what
I thought." I smiled. The he came up to me and whispered in my ear, "You know that ah still care bout ya." I didn't respond. "Okay?" he said.
"Okay?!" He exclaimed grabbing me pulling me onto the floor and tickling me. "Hey.....Please......Stop!" I laughed out. "Not until ya understand." He
said. "Okay.........I.......Understand......Please ....stop." I tried to say, but it was kind of hard when I was being tickled. "Kay. Then it's settled." He walks
out the door back downstairs. I smile then climb back into my chair, and look back out the window. At that moment a bunch of thoughts went
through my head. "Why does he try to butter me up like that all the time" One of the many thoughts that came clear to me said. Maybe I should
go talk to him and see if he is having any problems with Soarin. I listen quietly to the sounds in the house.........And I heard something. Something
not natural. Something that doesn't really happen often. I don't what though. I let my curiosity get away with me and went downstairs to check it
out. And get a book.
As I sneak down the stairs I skip the creaky spots. Then move my face to where I can see what's going on. "HOLY-" I screamed in my
mind. The thing I just saw was not going to be okay at all with me neither Soarin!
"WHAT THE HAY ARE YOU DOING?!?!" I scream looking at my Ex-coltfriend kissing my other Ex-coltfriend/Braeburn who is dating Soarin.
"Wha-OW!" Braeburn yells as I smack him in the face with my hoof. "How could you do this to Soarin?!" I yell at him. "Well..Well.....Well he'll never
know!" He yelled back, but then noticing he made a mistake of what he yelled out for us all to hear. Braeburn's face turned bright red."Wait!
What?" Shining exclaimed very confused. "You're cheating on your coltfriend?!" Shining was know getting louder for every word he said.
"Uh...Uh...Well." Braeburn tried to explain himself, but Shining didn't let him finish. "What the hay where you thinking!?" He yelled. I may have
been very upset with Braeburn's decision, but he's very emotional......So I should probably do something before Braeburn turns into a dried out
corpse. "Hey shining." I tried to say something, but shining ignored me still yelling at Braeburn. Braeburn just looked at shining his eyes filling up
with tears. Shining still kept yelling. "Shining!" I yelled, but he still didn't listen. That's when I lost it, "SHINING!!!!" I screamed. He looked at me with
anger and frustration in his eyes. "Get out. Now!" I said with and different kind of frustration in my eyes. "Wow. It takes a lot for a stallion to
actually pay attention to me." I thought. Shining walked out of the house and started back to his place.
I looked at Braeburn with disappointment in my eyes. "I can explain. I-" He was saying something, but I didn't let him finish, "Don't. Just don't.
You got yourself into this, you can find a way out yourself" I said to him feeling like I could.....Do something horrible, but no. I'm not that kind
of colt. "I'm going to my room." I say feeling mad at Shining and disappointed with Braeburn. I walk upstairs.
