“It’s finally here.” I thought to myself. Today is my birthday and the best part about it; Pinkie still thinks that someone is going to visit ponyville on their birthday. Three days ago Pinkie came to visit Twilight one day out of the blue and kept saying that, get this, “Pinkie Sense” was telling her that someponies birthday was coming and the problem was that even though she already said happy birthday to the ponies days before their actually birthday.

Then she came to me and asked me a question.

“Hey Davie.”

“Ugh why me?”

“Yeah what is it.” I replied.

“Do humans celebrate birthdays?” I was about to say no, however I remember the cold feeling I had two days ago so maybe this was the warning.

“Actually we do.” Pinkie was bouncing almost as if she won the lottery. Oh crap.

“Before you think it’s my birthday your wrong.”

“Then when is it?”

“Shit.” I thought

“It’s in December.”

“What day.”

“The 31st.” I answered back quickly. Pinkie looked at me almost as if I was lying even though I was bullshitting. After intensive staring from Pinkie she looked pouted.

“Aww I was sure it was your birthday this week.”

“Hey who knows? Maybe it might be somepony that’s visiting here. Maybe it might be their birthday.” I told her. As soon as I said that, Pinkie gasped from three seconds while she jumped in the air for more than she should have then left the library with lighting speed.

Present day…

“Heh what a dumbass.” Once class ended I was finally able to do as I please. Twilight thinks I’m staying at Applejacks for earning more bits but for the entire day it’s all going to be about me. While I was walking, Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle were catching up on me. Ever since I attended the school, they’ve been following me to the places I’ve been chilling out.

It’s not so bad considering they’ve been good company to me. But today is not the best of time since I really am on a time limit.

“Hey girls want to make a bet? Last to Sugercube corner buys the winners ice cream.” I said with a cocky grin.

“But that’s not fair.” Applebloom complained.

“Yeah you’ll just zip past us.” Scootaloo also complained.

“Don’t worry I’ll give you three a 15 second head start.”

“That’s fair I guess.” Sweetie Belle said a bit unsure if the head start was going to help. Regardless, I made the line that represented the starting line. Then I was beginning my starting position.

“On your marks…get set…GO!” All three of them ran almost like their lives depended on it. I guess those three really didn’t want to pay for the ice cream. Regardless those three are out of my hair and it’s high time I get ready before anyone here gets any wiser. I ran to the opposite side of this town to get to this one shop that sells booze here.

I go inside and I find the only pony that that was both the manager and employee of this place. The best part about this place is that this pony gets drunk at one point in time and I was lucky that I was able to get here because there’s no one here around here too so it was the perfect time for me to steal at least one bottle. I go around the place to make sure there was no one around here. While I was searching, I came across a bottle that seemed ok for me to sneak in my pocket, so I took it with me and I snuck out of the place as fast as I could.

“Ok phase 1: steal a bottle of alcohol for myself. Check. On to phase 2.”

I then ran to Sugercube Corner to catch up to the girls so that I can grab the cake for my other plan. About a few minutes later I make it place and the girls are still inside waiting for me.

“Wow for somepony tall as yourself, your slow as a turtle.” Scootaloo commented.

“Yeah I got distracted and cocky, thought I would out run you three but I guess luck isn’t on my side this time.”

Well I did say loser had to pay for ice cream so I go to the counter and asked Mrs. Cake if she could bring out three cones of ice cream. I also told her to give me my cake when I requested it yesterday. Once I gave the three ice cream, I told them I had other plans and I had to leave. Once Mrs. Cake gotten the cake, I paid her and was about to leave.

“Oh and David I almost forgot.” I turn around and was about to tell her to stop but it was already too late.

“Happy Birthday.” I didn’t know how, I didn’t know why, but somewhere on the other side of the town I heard Pinkie screamed out the top of her lung.

“What!”

As soon as I heard that, it was now or never, Do or die, so I ran to the counter, leaped over it and bull rush the door while protecting the cake in my left hand side. I broke the door but it was worth not getting killed or whatever Pinkie was planning to do to me later if she catches up with me.

“Ok phase 2: check. Phase 3? GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!” So I ran to the only place that was a sure fire way she wouldn’t find me. I ran for God knows how long but I was able to make it to the other side of the town and saw Fluttershy's cottage.

“Yes that just means if I can make it past the house I can get in the Everfree Forest and follow the path to this ”Castle of the two sisters”."

Freedom almost at my grasp, I ran for it with all the strength I can muster. I didn’t want to look back but I needed to be sure that she was far away, so I look back.

“David! You lied to me!” I saw Pinkie running towards and nearly catching up to me. I knew that I had to kick it up a few notches so I ran as though my life depended on it. Fluttershy came out of the cottage and when she saw me, she was almost about to walk between the path way.

“Oh David hows…”

“MOVE OUT THE WAY!” She listened and I ran past her. With that, I was able to go in the forest while still running.

“Heheheh. Sucker!” I said almost running out of breath. I looked in front of me and there was a fork in the path way. I completely forgotten which way was the path to the castle so I chose the one on the left side. After about a few minutes of running, I decided that I think I lost those two and decided to check my surroundings.

All around me were just trees that shaded the sun so that means Fluttershy couldn’t fly overhead of this place and find me so that’s a bonus. I then began to walk on the dirt road to lead me to the castle. I hoped.

25 minutes later…

“God damn it I’m lost!” I have no idea where I am, all the trees look the same, and finally I think I passed the same tree I carved my name in to make sure if it was. I look at the rough bark and it was. I then inhaled deeply and expelled the air.

“Well shit.” I complained. I kept thinking on how the hell to get out of this since I have no clue on how to leave this place and I kept walking around the forest until I heard a noise coming from one of the bushes. I turn and check around me to find out who was with me in this place. I mean I heard from other ponies that strange things happen around this place, but most were just something that was just normal from Earth like clouds moving on their own and wild animals not being tamed. Ok that last part was not a smart move on my part but anywhere was better than the village with her.

I stood still waiting for something to make a move; the air around me began to feel cold, it almost felt as if time moved a slower for a second then something made a noise on my left side. For a split second, I saw something retracted in the bushes but I definitely saw a piece of wood go back inside. I then move back slowly to and looked at the bush to make sure my eyes weren't playing me. That is until I heard another noise coming from the other side. The bush moved only for an inch then I heard more rustling from far away.

“Forget this I’m getting out of this place!” I turn around and made a run for it. When I ran, I heard more noises coming from behind me. I didn’t want to know who or what was chasing me but I didn’t care so long as I was sure I was at a faraway distance from whatever it was. I ran and ran until I stumbled onto a flower bed of blue flowers but as I was running, I fell on something that tripped me.

I slid on the flowers and might have scripted my face a bit. When I got up, I was searching for the cake and bottle but what could be useful right now was a rock preferably a big one. I then heard growing from behind me and saw what might have been the second scariest thing in my life.

Wolves and more importantly, what their made of, to be exact. I saw their bodies made out of the same bark as any of the trees around me. But what really made me scared of them were their eyes; their eyes glowed eerily out of the darkness this place was carrying and more was that they were prepared to pounce, ready to kill me. I thought this was the end but I wasn’t ready to die, not in this place. I finally found a rock that was perfect to bludgeon these ‘timber-wolves’.

“Bring it on i ain't afraid of you freaks!” I yelled at them, readying my right hand carrying the rock. But what was strange was that none of them wanted to come near me; in fact they were looking at the bed of blue flowers rather than me. I look down and figure they can’t come near me. This gave me an idea.

“Yeah you can't reach mr now can you, you piece of shits.” I then sat on the bed of flowers and waited to see if they made a move and after about an hour of listening and watching they gave up then they all left .

“Heh those wolves are gone. But to make sure they don’t come back for me…” I pulled a few flowers and put some in my pocket to make sure when they come back, I’ll be ready. I then pulled a few more and began rubbing those flowers on me so that the scent would be strong for them to know I was a hazard to their way .

After that, I began walking around the forest more to find the castle after what seemed like an hour of walking. The sky looked more reddish then so that must mean it’s almost sunset, which means I’ll be lost in this place with the animals when this place hits night. I ran straight through the forest as fast as I can until I found a light at the end of the forest.

I ran to the light and found myself on what looks like a lake. The water was calm and that there wasn't anything that could ruin the smooth surface of the water, reflecting from the suns light and soon to be covered with the dark blue night sky.

“You know this might be a relaxing place to eat and drink here.” I thought to myself. So I sat on the sand pulled out the bottle and was about to open it until something in the lake came out of nowhere. Out came a giant freaking lizard monster with an actually well groom mustache and hair. Regardless when I first saw this thing, I was about to piss myself because of the shit luck that I was given but what really was on my mind was I should have ran but I felt like my feet were planted in the sand for the first time I felt actual fear.

“Oh my? You’re a strange fellow. Might I ask who you are?” The monster asked. I wanted to run but like an obedient dog I replied.

“M…m…my name is d…d…David Grant.” I looked at the monster waiting for its next move.

“Well it’s nice to meet you Mr. Grant.” The thing said then put out his right arm out. I flinched and closed my eyes thinking he was going to kill me. After seconds of waiting, nothing happened and when I opened my eyes, his hand is still out. I looked up to him and he had this questioned look on his face.

When I saw his hand again I realized that this wasn’t a way of killing me but an actual introduction. So I reached into his hand to shake it but realized he was twice my size. I think he realized it too when he saw how I was too small.

“Oh my apologies I didn’t realize that you were…” before he could say anything I then began to laugh. In fact, this was an actual laugh, a real one where it didn’t fall back on the satisfaction of revenge or hatred towards another living being. For once, I found something like a misunderstanding like this hilarious.

“No no no I should apologize for not realizing sooner. Ha ha ha.” I said though fits of laughter. Like a domino effect he began to laugh too. After what seemed like forever we finally calmed down a bit. Once we have our breaths back we gotten to talk. Apparently what he meant was who I was like species wise, so I told him I was human.

“Human aye? Well it’s nice to meet new species around this place. It gets lonely here on this lake.” Magnum said. I kind of felt sorry for him considering that this place might not have people he could talk to but I have a plan to do and I’m running out of time.

“I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but can you tell me where the castle is?” I asked him. Apparently I went the wrong way however, he said that crossing the lake was a shortcut to the castle so long as I followed the path. I looked across from him then looked at the lake a little worried.

“Thanks I’ll just go around this lake until I can find the path.”

“Or I have a better idea.” Magnum then reach out to me then grabbed me softly so that he doesn’t squeeze the life out of me. It felt weird that I’m being taken by a sea serpent who I thought was going to kill me but he seemed like a nice guy. After a few seconds, we made it to the other side of the lake and when he let go of me, he then explained where the path was. I didn’t know how to thank the guy so I looked at my box and asked him.

“Hey wait Magnum. I want to give you something for helping me get across.” I then opened the box and saw the cake. Mrs. Cake really knows how to make a cake because the pastry in tow was amazing. White frosting that covered it all with blue frosting coming from the rim plus a red cursive of my name wishing me happy birthday. I grab my knife then cut the cake in half and asked for him to take it.

At first he didn’t want it because it was too much of me to give him the cake. However he agreed to take it once I told him that it was red velvet. No one ever says no to red velvet.

“Thank you. “ He said as he ate the whole thing in one bite. No surprise since he’s so big. I then head towards the path and before long I find myself looking up to find that the castle is only a few steps away however I need to cross a bridge that looked like it was about to collapse itself if I ever made a single step.

After swallowing up what’s left of my courage, I decided I should take it nice and easy when crossing the bridge. I was only half way across the bridge and I was losing every inch of my cool because I was afraid this thing might collapse and I could fall to my death. When I finally crossed over, I felt relieved that my luck was finally coming around. I then began to run to the castle so that I can finally have some real fun.

Once I opened the door I looked around the place to see if there were any animals that were in this place. All I can hear was nothing but the howling winds and nothing which only meant that this place wasn’t occupied by anybody. So I closed the door, and then began walking around the place to find the dining room.

After some much more exploration, I found the dining room and sat on a chair with the sun emblem etched to the seat.

“Finally I made it and now for the moment I’ve been waiting for…” I then opened the bottle.

“LETS GET WASTED!” I yelled for the gods to hear me out loud knowing I can go wild without any judgment.

30 minutes later…

“I can’t believe David lied to me. I thought we were besties.” Pinkie complained. After David went inside the forest, Pinkie along with Fluttershy went to go find their friends so that they can search for David.

“I don’t know what David was thinking coming to this here place.” Applejack said. She may not like the Everfree but it brought nostalgia because this place was where their friendship blossomed.

“Well it wouldn’t surprise me. For the past few weeks, he’s been rather unpleasant and quite frankly, dangerous.” Rarity said. At first she thought that David was misunderstood after their second meeting but after witnessing what David did to Dash, she was having doubts on whether he was civilize or just plain savage.

“I know but he can’t be in the Everfree especially at night.” Fluttershy said. She was worried about David's safety because he’s, by default, the only being in Equestria and that the Everfree was dangerous.

“Fluttershy's right we need to find him quickly.” Twilight said. She was also worried too for David's safety. The five of them stumbled onto the same river that they met Magnum from their last visit to the forest. The calm water then began to ripple as Magnum immerged from the depths of the lake and he was thrilled to see the five ponies again.

“Oh it’s been a while since the last time we met.” Magnum said happily.

“Excuse me but you wouldn’t happen to have seen a bipedal creature come through have you?” Twilight asked.

“Hmm depends on what it looks like.” Magnum said. The girls began to describe what David is and Magnum realizes who it was immediately.

“Oh I know who you’re referring to. Not too long ago he needed to cross over to go to the castle.” He said with a smile remembering the reward he received.

“Um would you mind if we cross over to find him.” Fluttershy asked politely. Without hesitation, Magnum created a bridge with his back so the five can make it across. After more walking around, they make it to the bridge. As they crossed the bridge, Fluttershy stopped for a moment and looked back reminiscing about their first adventure.

“Hey Fluttershy what’s the matter? Are you still worried about Rainbow Dash?” Rarity asked.

“Don’t worry about it. Doctor says she’ll be out by tomorrow.” Applejack comforted Fluttershy. Fluttershy smiled at the support of her two friends.

Once the five reach the castle, they decided that they should spread out in order to find him but that was tossed out when they heard a loud crash coming from the end of the hall that lead them the door to the dining hall.

Twilight put her head to the door to hear what was on the other side.

“Well what is it? Is it David?” Fluttershy asked.

“Yeah its sounds like him.” Twilight answered and opened the door.

On the other side, David stood on top of the dining table; dancing and singing without even noticing the five of them entering. Needless to say that when he finally finished, he heard a few extra voices then he should hear. He turned around and saw five ponies trying not to laugh.

David made in effort to try and leave the place as fast as possible to salvage what little dignity he had but tripped over the bottle he previously drank.

“Shit.” He fell backwards and banged his head on the marble floor. The girls ran towards the now passed out human. Fluttershy checked the back of his head to make sure that there wasn’t any serious damages to his head.

“It doesn’t seem like he’s too badly injured but he does need some bandages to help stop the bleeding.” Fluttershy said.

“Don’t worry Fluttershy, I’ll take him back to the library to treat his wounds.” Twilight sighed knowing that this is starting to become a habit David is now making.

1 hour later…

Twilight and David; who was being carried by Twilights levitation finally made it to the library. However there was also another problem that arises when they found him. Apparently David’s phone was blasting random songs which made the trip back difficult since it made any predator that was close to the proximity hear them.

Lucky for them it didn’t happen because Twilight trapped it in a bubble so it was muted however it would have been better if she knew how to turn it off. Twilight then unbubbled the phone and the music was still blasting.

“Uugh how in Equestria am I supposed to turn this off?” Even if she wanted to turn it off, she couldn’t help but follow the beat. But her wishes came true when the song finally ended and so did the phone too.

“(Sigh) Finally.” Twilight then put the item back in David’s possession however she couldn’t. Twilight then used her magic to see if there was anything that David took from the castle. When she was emptying David’s pockets, she nearly jumped back when she saw the blue petals that fell from her magic. She realized what those petals mean.

“Oh no don’t worry David I’ll…” Before she could panic she looked at David then the petals. She was contemplating rather to remedy this or see how this turned out. She was reminded of all the things David did over the pass few weeks and realized David deserved more then he should. Twilight levitated David down to the lab and laid him in bed.

“Sweet dreams David.” Twilight said when she climbed up the stairs with a smile on her face.

Hello readers its me. :D But still more on to the matter, I was planning to publish two chapters but I lost me USB Drive that contained future chapters. I was like " :| Well shit." but luckly I got this one on my account just not the other one which is a bummer. I'm sorry i'm so damn stupid :( .
