Chapter 2
Previous ChapterNext ChapterShadow Blaze looked up at the dark gloomy sky as a few rain drops fell on his cloak. He picked up his pace, not wanting to get caught in the upcoming storm. He had been walking for about 5 hours in a dark forest, though something was off, there was a sense of magic in the air which seemed almost evil. As he walked through the eerie forest the sounds of animals seemed to get quieter and quieter then disappearing altogether. He pulled his hood farther over his head and continued walking, as the rain started up again. He found a large cave he could take shelter in for the night and quickly galloped to the entrance.
The cave was dark and dry, perfect to wait out the storm. He settled down past the entrance just past the water. There seemed to be an object glowing in the far back of the cave, with fear and curiosity getting the better of him, he cautiously moved toward it.
Just as Shadow backed up a rock tumbled down to the where the Ursa was sleeping, bumping into its back. Shadow Blaze cringed as the sleeping Ursa woke up with a loud roar, he quickly jumped behind a rock to hide from the enraged monster. The monster unleashed a roar again searching for the thing that woke her. Shadow watched as the beast swung furiously at any object smashing right through rocks with ease. He swiftly ran to the cave's entrance but tripped on a rock, He looked back as the rampaging Ursa Major's gaze locked right on him bearing her teeth, his heart sank as he hastily got back to his feet and sprinted out to the forest. The beast kept pace with the panicked Stallion as he made his way into the forest.
The stallion stopped in an arena like area surrounded by trees. He turned as the rampaging beast broke through trees like twigs. The stallion started a spell creating a blade out of fire right in front of him preparing for the beast to charge. Their eyes locked onto each other, and both charged. The beast swung her arm, but Shadow quickly jumped it slashing her right leg causing the beast to fall with a roar. The Ursa major stood up again facing him as if the slash never happened to it. The beast roared, but shadow shot a ball of flame into it's chest causing an enormous explosion knocking the beast to the ground, letting out a weak roar. The Stallion quickly jumped on top of the weakened Ursa Major and sent a flaming spear right through it's chest.
Shadow made his way down underneath a tree breathing heavily. The Fallen Ursa Major's body started to break away as orbs of light scattered through the air.
The stallion walked back through the area where the Ursa Major had rampaged through. The Trees broken in half and tracks as large as a wagon. He finally made his way back to the cave seeing that his saddle bags are still intact. He created a small fire out of a few branches and sat down, he reached into his saddle bags and pulled a few apples. He munched the apples and fell into a deep sleep.
