Sparkler has dreamt of moving to Canterlot since she was a small filly. When she finds an advert in the Equestrian Times which reads "Roommate wanted for artists' abode in Canterlot: Must be house trained" with a very low monthly rent beneath it, she feels that all her dreams are about to come true.

Octavia, exasperated by the fate of her and Vinyl Scratch's previous roommate, hopes that the new arrival will last longer than a week.

Vinyl Scratch is the greatest DJ (and in fact, unicorn – actually make that pony) in Equestria.
