Many strange and dark things have transpired within Equestria ever since the changelings attack three years ago. With each day the problems become more frequent; dragons attacking pony villages, timberwolves leaving the Everfree, normally docile creatures becoming violent and restless. In response to the growing problems the princesses have mobilized the royal guard, but despite their numbers and strength they are still severely out matched. Celestia, After taking Luna's counsel, seeks help from the only unicorn in Equestria strong enough to put a stop to the madness, Twilight Sparkle.

But when Twilight's plan goes horribly wrong she brings forth a creature beyond even Celestia in power. Can this new being be just what Equestria needs? Or will it turn out to be Equestria's downfall? Only time will tell.
