You can be crueler than that!
"Get ready! This is what we have waited for, for so many years! Today is the day Canterlot will crumble!" Screamed The Griffon King, receiving screams of agreement from the army that stood behind him. The king grinned wickedly. The king looked over the army that he-- no, his ally had assembled. Hundreds of Minotaurs, Griffons. Heck, even Changelings were present! This Griffon had been with his leader from the start, at first he did not trust him. But eventually, he began to respect him. He knew things, things no one could ever imagine. The king looked up at the sky, and began to think back as to how this all began.
On the far outskirts of Equestria, deep within The Griffon Kingdom, stood a proud Griffon king, on the golden balcony of his castle. It was on par with Canterlot castle, but it looked more.. Realistic. Like a Medieval castle. The king looked down upon his fellow Griffons, the castle grounds were filled with traders of all sorts. Minotaurs, say what you want about them, but they are well known for their hunting abilities. Their increased scent proved quite helpful during the time The Griffon Kingdom was short on supplies, mostly consistent of meat and weapons. The king sighed and spread his wings, flying back into his throne room. Reaching his throne room, the king sat down on his-- claw carved, oak wood-- throne. Even though trade had been going well with The Minotaurs, the ponies on the other hand, were less tradeworthy. Whenever a Griffon representative would come back from Canterlot, he or she would always bring concerning news. The ponies wanted more, more land, more weapons, more armor, more resources.
But what could he do? The Griffons were in their debts. The Alicorn Princesses control the celestial bodies, The Elements of Harmony could turn any living being into stone, except for Tirek that was. Luckily, Tirek had not "visited" The Griffon Kingdom, if he had, thousands would have lost their homes, or worse. The king had tried to negotiate with Princess Celestia herself, but as stubborn as she were, she would never oblige. She would always blame this on The Griffons themselves. There was truth in it though, the Griffons did start the one hundred year war against poiny kind. But surely, after a thousands years, they woule have forgot and lived on.. Right? Wrong! Princess Celestia said that she would never forgive them, because hundreds of ponies died because of the war. Well, she and that sister of hers had killed over thousands of Griffon soldiers! Has she ever considered how great there losses were?!
Sighing again, the king watched as yet another Griffon representative made his way over to his throne.
"M-My king?" The representative stuttered. The king cocked an eyebrow, but motioned for him to continue. "Our propositions were declined." The representative sighed.
"Why does that not surprise me?" The king mused, stroking his feathers. "I cannot believe that even after all these years, Princess Celestia, nor Princess Luna would even show the slightest compassion. Our people are suffering, but they turn their hairy rumps on us! Not even caring about Equestria's other inhabitants! We have asked for their forgiveness numerous of times! We have given them so much, for so little in return! We.. Are suffering, and there is nothing we can do about it." The king looked at his representative and the other Griffon hierarchs inside the throne room. "You are dismissed, return to your homes."
The Griffons bowed for their king and left the throne room. "That includes my guards as well." The king said with a slight, annoyed tone.
"My lord, with all due respect but--."
"Sergeant, I am ordering you to leave this throne room. If you do not, I will have you degraded to private." The king cut him off.
Sighing, the sergeant ordered his men to leave the throne room. The king watched as us guards left the room. The king took of his crown, held in his claws, was his most dearest treasure. Passed on from generation to generation, this was the most sacred treasure of The Griffon Kingdom. "Why?" The king asked out loud. "Why is this happening to us? Why are we tormented like this?!" The king felt a hot substance on the left side of his cheek, he traced one of his claws over his feathered face. Then he felt it, a single tear. The once mighty king of Griffons, was crying.
Sighing yet again, the king put his crown back on his head. He was about to leave for his private chambers, until his sergeant came rushing into the throne room, covered in blood. "M-My lord, we are under attack!" The sergeant exclaimed in utter fear.
"Ponies?" The king asked.
The sergeant shook his head. "No, something else, unlike anything I have ever seen! It has killed ten of my men without even blinking. It has shields, we cannot penetrate! Its swords, cut through our armor, like a knife does through butter! And its wicked smile, I-I--." Not able to finish his sentence, the sergeant fell to the ground. The king rushed over to his fallen guard, laying a paw on his back, the sergeant was not breathing. The king clenched his paw in anger and grabbed the sergeants' sword from its hilt. "Whoever did this, will pay." The king said, venom dripping from his voice. The king quickly flew through the halls of his castle, hearing the terrified screams from his guards. Finally, he reached the a corridor. There, he heard one of his guards, a good friend of his, taking to someone; he did not know.
"Please, I'll give you anything you want. Just don't kill me!"
"Why don't ya tell me where yer leader is? Maybe he's the more reasonable kind of guy. Seeing as how you fuckboys attacked me on sight. "
"The king would kill you on sight! You k-killed fourteen of his guards. There is no--ACK!"
Having heard enough, the king moved around the corridor. There, he laid eyes upon something he had never seen before. It was a bipedal creature. Its skin was black and on its back were six, shield like objects. Dyed in black and red, with strange symbols on them. Then came its face, it had no fur whatsoever, making the king wonder if its black skin was actually armor. It had this strange mark on its head, strange black lines, with strange numbers underneath them. But that was not the scariest thing about it, no, not even close. In its right appendage, it was carrying a enormous machete, which had now impaled the unfortunate guard. The creature moved its head from behind the body, giving the king a terrifying grin, it moved its machete to the side of its waste. The body of the dead guard still hanging from it. The creature simply cocked his arm, and the body fell to the ground, hitting it with a loud thump.
"So." The creature said, tracing the machete across the ground. "You wanna die next?" It asked.
The king roared and leaped towards the creature. The creature gave a bored sigh and its six shields formed together in front of it creating one enormous shield. The king's sword collided with the shield, an explosion followed, sending the king flying into a nearby wall. The king fell to the ground, looking up at the creature.
"What a-are you?" The king asked.
"What are you?" The creature retorted.
"I am king Odero, of The Griffon Kingdom." King Odero replied.
"King Odero? Griffon Kingdom? Where am I? Some kind of fantasy world o' somethin'?" The creature asked, sheathing its machete. "Listen, this is the first civilised conversation I have had in ten minutes, now would you mind telling me where the fuck I am?"
"The Griffon Kingdom." King Odero replied, holding his wing in pain.
"Griffon? You mean like the mythical shitbird?" The creature asked
King Odero shot it an angry glare. "How dare you?! You come here, damaging my castle, killing my guards, and now you have the courage to say--."
"I'm going to stop you right there. First: Your guards attacked, so I defended myself.. That includes them losing a limb or two. Second: I have no idea as to how I ended up here. And third: Your castle looks like shit, your weapons are shitty, everything is just one big pile of shit!" The creature exclaimed.
"Your words, are beyond my understanding." King Odero said, a chuckle escaping his mouth. "Go ahead, kill me. But be warned, warriors from all across Equus will come after you, to avenge me."
"Kill you?" The creature repeated. "Now why would I want to do that?"
"Were you not sent to kill me?" King Odero asked, a hint of confusion in his voice.
"Listen, I've never seen anything like you. How the fuck would I know who to kill, if I've never seen or heard about you!?" The creature asked.
King Odero got up, slow and painfully. But was surprised when he felt a set of strong.. Whatever those things are called, support him. Looking up at the creature, he gave it a small nod. "This means nothing, you will have to answer for your crimes." King Odero said.
The creature nodded. "Nothing can be worse than what I've been through."
"Fifteen whip slashes, that will do." King Odero chuckled.
"Deal." The creature laughed.
"There is the king! The creature has taken him hostage!"
The creature and king Odero turned their heads, and saw a squadron of Griffons running towards them. King Odero shook his head and spoke up.
"Stand down!" King Odero ordered.
The Griffons slowly stopped in their tracks. "My king?" One of them said in confusion.
"He is far too powerful, lay down your weapons and lead us to the infirmary." King Odero ordered.
".. Yes, my lord." The same Griffon said.
'What is to become of us now? Beaten, by a single creature.' King Odero thought.
****
As King Odero, the only survivor that faced the creature, looked out of a small window inside the infirmary. He couldn't help but to mentally scold himself. Why did he surrendered to this creature? Was it because he was afraid? Because he had give up on hope? Sighing, the king looked to his side. There sat the creature, on a chair that was barely able to hold its weight. It was grinning at him.
"Rise and shine." The creature laughed.
"Why are you here?" King Odero asked.
"Well." The creature said while getting up. "I was bored of the stares people were giving me, so I decided to visit my good pal King Odero!"
"What about the guards who were guarding my chamber?" King Odero asked.
"Dead."The creature replied, casually.
"What?!" King Odero nearly screamed. But relaxed when the creature began to laugh.
"I'm kiddin', they ain't dead, just bruised and unconscious."
"Creature, may I ask you something?" King Odero asked. In which it nodded. "Why did you spare me?"
The creature stroked its chin in thoughts. "Well, for starters, you've got balls. You didn't cower in fear when you saw me. But, it was when I looked into your eyes. I saw somethin', I've seen plenty of times to recognize."
"What did you see?" King Odero asked curiously.
"Nothin'. Absolutely nothin'. You haven't got that spark, that fire burning in your eyes." The creature replied.
"That fire, has been dimmed by pony kind." King Odero sighed.
"Pony shit on your fire?" The creature asked.
Sighing, king Odero began to tell the creature everything. From the one hundred year war, to Tirek's rampage. How he and his kingdom were slowly starting to crumble, how they had to beg for mercy to Princess Celestia and Luna. Though he did admit that he understood their grudge against him and his fellow Griffons, he still found that they were too unreasonable. A hundred years is a long time. In return, the creature told him about his world. Where it came from, what it had been through. How it was a 'cyborg', but originally a Human being. It told how it made a living out of war and death. How it killed for money, for self pleasure, and just for 'the lolz of it', as it stated. At first, king Odero was sickened by its tale. But then he heard its ideals. That every 'man and woman' should be able to fight his own wars. That people who make a living from war, should not be robbed from their income. But most of all, how these 'peace loving pansies' try to stop war. Try to make peace, instead of helping the war economy grow. When king Odero asked the creature about its opinion about the current situation between Griffons and ponies, it replied with an answer, the king was most happy about.
"Kill 'em, show 'em not to mess with you, show 'em that you ain't taking this shit anymore."
"Your words mean nothing, pony kind will not go down so easily." King Odero replied with a chuckle. "Not even you can take on the Princesses."
"Listen, if there is one thing I know, it's how to manipulate people." The creature said while looking king Odero in his eyes. "So, what do you say? Partners?"
King Odero looked at the strange appendage in front of him. Was this the right choice to make? His story seemed very far fetched. But what was there to loose? His kingdom was crumbling, his people suffering, his only income, had to be sold to ponies. Even The Minotaurs were beginning to hate pony kind, never showing any respect for their eating habits, or hunting in their forests'. King Odero, had no other choice. Raising his claw, he laid it in the creature's appendage. As the creature wrapped its smaller appendage's around the king's claw, it smiled and shook the king's claw.
"The name's Sundowner, at your service."
"Sundowner." King Odero repeated. "A fitting name, it seems."
"Now." Sundowner said, letting go of king Odero's claw. "How many soldiers do you have?"
"Around four hundred." King Odero replied.
"That won't do." Sundowner said. "How about children? How many 'Griffon toddlers' are there?"
"I do not know, enough I guess." King Odero replied, slightly confused. "Why do you ask?"
"I have my reasons." Sundowner replied. "How about allies?" He asked.
"Well, perhaps the Minotaurs could be of help. But to gain there full; pledged allegiance, you'll have to defeat their finest warrior." King Odero replied.
"Don't worry, just make sure they get here." Sundowner said with a smug grin.
'What are you planning?' King Odero thought.

"King Odero, why this sudden meeting?" Asked king Salaman, King of The Minotaurs.
"King Salaman." Said king Odero, rising from his throne. "Have you brought your finest warrior?"
"Yes." King Salaman replied, motioning to the enormous Minotaur that stood beside him. "This is Crusher."
"Splendid!" King Odero said, clapping his claws together. "Now, for my warrior."
Footsteps could be heard, echoing through the halls of the castle. Suddenly, there was a knock on the throne room doors. The Griffon guards opened the doors, revealing the beast, known mostly as: Sundowner. Grabbing hold of his machetes, he casually walked towards King Salaman.
"What kind of monstrosity is this?" Asked King Salaman.
"My warrior, Sundowner of the United States of America!" King Salaman replied.
"United what?" King Salaman asked confused. Getting turned his head to Sundowner. "This is no Griffon, meaning he cannot be your representative warrior in this fight; for our allegiance!" King Salaman said.
"Oh, but he is. He has disconnected all of his former allegiances to his country. Thus meaning that he is technically, a Griffon."
King Salaman snorted. "We do not need a ring for this! Crusher, kill!" King Salaman ordered.
The enormous Minotaur grabbed hold of his sword and leaped towards Sundowner. Sundowner un-sheathed his machetes and with oneswift move, cut Crusher's head straight of his spine. Crusher's body began to spasm, blood oozing out of the would, covering Sundowner in it. Who only smiled wickedly and sheathed his machetes. Crusher's body fell to the ground, and went limb. King Salaman could only stare in utter shock. Looking up at king Odero, he quickly bowed, and so did the Minotaur guards he had brought with him.
"No need to bow." King Odero said, patting Salaman on his back. "We're allies now, and together we shall destroy pony kind, along with those puny Princesses."
"How?" King Salaman asked, still shocked at what had just occurred.
"Simple." Odero said, turning Salaman's head, so he would be looking straight at Sundowner. "We have him, and wherever he goes, death soon follows."
"Does this mean that we Minotaurs get to hunt, wherever we want to?" King Salaman asked.
"And kill, whatever you want to." King Odero added.
King Salaman got up and looked at Sundowner. "Mighty warrior, I hope you and king Odero will lead us to victory." He said while giving him a respectful bow. "The Minotaurs, are under your command."
Sundowner smiled, this was getting better and better. He could continue doing what he liked the most: Killing.

Queen Chrysalis sighed and rubbed her forehead. Changelings were dying, the hive was starving. They needed love, and they needed it fast. Chrysalis sighed and looked around. The hive was silent, even though it was still midday. Chrysalis needed rest, so she decided to go to her private chambers.. Well, 'private' if that is how you can describe a rock and some leafs. Chrysalis walked through her hive, seeing many of her subjects pleading for food made her heart skip a beat. She had asked for forgiveness, forgiveness from Celestia, even that so called Princess of Love: Princess Cadence. But not a single emotion was shown, when she arrived in Canterlot. Celestia told her to leave, and if she did not,she would have The Elements of Harmony turn her into stone. Which made her wonder: Why did they not try that the first time?
She sighed. "Is there no solution? Is this our doomed fate?"
Chrysalis had almost reached her private chambers. That was, until a single Changeling grunt came flying towards her.
"My queen." It said.
"Speak." Chrysalis ordered.
"There are several.. Guests outside of the hive, I have ordered five of our grunts to keep watch." The grunt replied.
"Take me to them." Chrysalis sighed.
The grunt nodded and led his queen to their new guests. Finally reaching the outskirts of the hive, Chrysalis was greeted with a very confusing sight. There stood king Odero, king Salaman, and a strange creature she had never seen before. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" Chrysalis asked.
"We are here." King Salaman said.
"To offer you a choice." King Odero continued.
"What choice?" Chrysalis asked, cocking an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Chrysalis, may I introduce you to." King Odero said, motioning to the bulking giant that stood beside him. "Sundowner."
"Sundowner? What kind of name, for a species is that?" Chrysalis laughed. Her laughed stopped, when Sundowner un-sheathed his machete.
"This is a high frequency blade, able to cut through almost anything." He said, waving the machte in front of her face.
"Even magic?" Chrysalis asked. In which Sundowner shrugged.
"The two kings told me about magic, and all sorts of stuff. I heard you're able to use magic, so there's only one way to find out." Sundowner said.
"So, will you give us the honor of joining us?" King Odero asked.
"Hmm." Chrysalis mused. "If you can prove that; that 'high frequency ' can cut through my magic barrier. Then, the Changeling hive will become your ally."
"That's it? Ha, this is going to be fun!" Sundowner exclaimed.
Chrysalis closed her eyes, her horn was covered in a green aura and within seconds, a green barrier/shield appeared in front of her. "Try to break through this, you--."
Chrysalis couldn't even finish her sentence, as the enormous machete cut through her shield like it was nothing. She watched as Sundowner gave her a toothy smile and sheathed his machete.
"I-I-- how did you do that? What kind of creature are you, to posses such power?" Chrysalis asked in utter shock.
"That's simple." Sundowner said, putting a arm around her back. "All that is required is a little bloodshed."
"B-Bloodshed?" Chrysalis repeated.
Sundowner laughed. "Yes, there ain't nothing like a little bloodshed, keeps up your spirit!"
"Queen Chrysalis, Sundowner has killed my finest warrior. As the rules of The Minotaur Kingdom state: Whoever defeats our mightiest warrior, shall gain our souls. We have allied ourselves with king Odero. Please, follow in our hoofsteps." King Salaman said, giving her a respectful bow.
Chrysalis sighed. What was there to loose? The hive was starving and her subjects were suffering. If they had to fight for their love, one last time. So be it! "Alright, when do we start?" She asked.
Sundowner smiled. !Well, your kind can change into anything you like, right?"
"Yes, why do you ask?" Chrysalis replied, slightly confused.
"Well, it so happens I have come up with a plan. A plan that was used before, and a plan that almost worked.. If it weren't for Mr. Lightning bolt." Sundowner replied.
"Perhaps we should discuss this, in a more civilised location." King Odero said.
"Agreed, let us return to The Griffon Kingdoms." King Salaman said.
Chrysalis looked back at her hive. "Inform the others I will be absent for a couple of hours." She said to The grunt, in which it nodded. "Alright, let us depart for The Griffon Kingdoms. I will teleport us there."
"As you wish, queen Chrysalis." King Odero said with a small grin.

"Foalnapping colts and fillies?" Chrysalis asked in shock. "Why?"
"Because." Sundowner said, pacing around the throne room. "Kids are cruel, you can teach kids anything. You can manipulate them. There is no law for children, just parents tellin' them what's right and what's wrong. If we were to 'foalnap' these kids, we could teach 'em anything! We used to do the same thing on Earth, and it turned out just fine! So, what do you say?"
"A wondrous idea my friend!" King Salaman said, clapping his hoofs together. "Let your enemy, kill your enemy."
"Agreed." Said king Odero, rising from his throne. "We will create an army unlike anypony has ever seen. And finally, we will have equal rights! Equus isn't big enough for all of us, we'll start by killing every single stallion, mare, and colt! We will keep those puny Princesses alive, for they are needed to raise the celestial bodies."
"Princess Cadence, is mine. I have unfinished business with her." Chrysalis said.
"And you just leave those 'Princesses' to me." Sundowner added. "I've always wanted to kill a pony, but momma always told me not to hurt animals."
After their strategy was planned, the only thing that could be heard, was the maniacal laughing of: King Odero, king Salaman, queen Chrysalis, and the cyborg Sundowner. Soon, after months of planning, their sinister plan was set in motion. Chrysalis ordered her Changelings to kidnap a handful of fillies and colts, as to Sundowner's request. They had ti be brought to the Griffonian dungeons, were Sundowner gave them their special training. The only thing that could be heard, were the pleas for mercy and death from the young fillies and colts. Trade continued with pony kind, as if nothing were happening. But behind the scenes, a powerful army had been created. An army consisting of Griffons, Minotaurs, Changelings, and their new recruits: Sundowner's Little Angels, or S.L.A. For short. Sundowner had insisted he was the only one to take command over them. The two kings and queen, agreed to his terms.
Soon, the invasion of Equestria had begun. As the army, consisting of thousands, marched through the many cities of Equestria. Fillydelphia, Cloudsdale, Manehattan, and even the famous Ponyville crumbled underneath the power of the army. The element of surprise was on their side. Since there had not been a war in a hundred years, pony kind was not prepared for the full scale invasion. Sundowner's S.L.A.'s had been given special missions. Killing off any resistance that stood in their way. Of course, Sundowner has taken part in every battle. Hacking and slashing away. Killing hundreds of Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth ponies.
Then came The Crystal Empire, the last obstacle that stood in the way of their main goal: Canterlot. The battle was swift, and without heavy losses.. For The Griffon army, that is. Princess Cadence had tried to use The Crystal Heart, sure it crumbled the firsr and second battalion, but that gave Sundowner and his S.L.A's the opportunity to sneak into the castle, kill their royal guards, and take Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadence hostage. The Crystal Empire, had been conquered. Now, with The Crystal Heart in their possession, the Changelings and their queen had enough love to feed upon, an unlimited supply.
The army began their march towards Canterlot, the wounded having been left in The Crystal Empire to rest and heal. Sundowner had personally 'introduced himself to Princess Cadence, want to know what happened? Well, let's just say Princess Cadence, won't be able to fly for awhile. They had taken Prince Shining Armor with them, having him, locked up in a chariot, guarded by none other than Sundowner himself. Now, the battle of Canterlot is about to unfold, and death, will soon follow.
"Princess Celestia!" Screamed Sundowner, as he, the chariot which was holding Shining Armor, and a squadron of Griffons stood in front of the enormous castle. "I believe I have somethin', you want!"
As on cue, Princess Celestia came walking out of the castle doors, the famous Elements of Harmony behind her, as well as her sister: Princess Luna. Glaring daggers at him, she stomped her hoof in on the hardened concrete, making it crack underneath her sheer force. "Release Prince Shining Armor at once!" She demanded, using her Royal Canterlot voice, which she rarely used.
"Release him?" Sundowner asked. He walked towards the chariot, the Griffons having their crossbows aimed at the Princesses, and their swords at the ready. Sundowner opened the chariot door, grabbing Shining Armor by his mane, he walked back to Princess Celestia. "I don't wanna release him, I.. Wanna kill him." Sundowner said as he un-sheathed one of his machetes.
"Stop!" Celestia demanded, as her horn started glowing.
Sundowner raised his machete behind Shining's back. "Come on, all we're sayin' is, give war a chance!"
Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and the other Elements of Harmony could only watch as the machete impaled Shining Armor. Blood oozing out of the wound and his mouth. Shining's eyes rolled back into his head, and his body went limp. Sundowner faked a shocked expression.
"Woops." He said as he pushed Shining Armor of his machete. Shining's motionless body fell to the ground, leaving everypony staring at it in utter shock.
"You monster." Celestia whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks. "I will have your head for this! First: You foalnap our colts and fillies, then you turn them into killers! Then you have the courage to invade our land and kill my subjects!" Celestia roared.
"Well, kids are cruel, Celly. Turns out colts and fillies can be easily manipulated into doing all sorts of atrocities. I gave them a sword and armor, and they made good use out of it. Killing is in their blood, and they like it!" Sundowner retorted.
"Sister, let Us handle this monstrosity!" Princess Luna shouted.
"No, he is mine!" Celestia retorted, pushing her sister back. "You will die, and when I'm done with you, your puny army will be next!"
Sundowner laughed and un-sheathed his second machete. As the two separate pieces of metal of his armor; closed, covering his chin and jaw, he laughed even more. "Like I said Celly, kids are cruel. And I'm very in touch, with my inner child! Hahahahaha!"
(Play: Red Sun, by Jamie Christopherson)
Celestia shot a burst of magic at the cyborg. Sundowner's shields protected him from the blast. Celestia, clearly shocked, decided to shoot another burst of magic at the cyborg, which ended in the same result. Celestia trotted towards Sundowner, shooting yet another burst of magic at the cyborg.
"I'm fucking invincible!" Sundowner exclaimed as his shields blocked the attack.
"Sister!" Exclaimed Luna, as she joined in the fight. We will fight him together! Celestia looked at her sibling and nodded. The two combined the power and shot a enormous burst of magic-- both gold and white -- shot at the cyborg. Sundowner's shields blocked the attack, but sparks began to appear from his back.
"Crap, looks like they're overheatin'." Sundowner said while glaring daggers at the two sisters. "And I get very angry when that happens!" Sundowner then showed his true form, his 'Beserker form'. As a metal plate covered his forehead and eyes, a metal bar shot out of his right arm. Clipping his machetes together, which mostly resembled a huge scissor, he looked at the two sisters. "Now we're gonna have some fun!"
Sundowner-- with in-human speed-- leaped towards the Princesses. The Princesses quickly teleported away from the rampaging cyborg, only to appear behind him. Bucking him in his his back, Sundowner was sent flying into a the castle walls.
"Huzzah! Thou art defeated thou fiend!" Exclaimed Luna, only for her cheering to stop, when she saw Sundowner walking through the enormous hole; his body had created. Sundowner roared and ran towards Luna, Luna teleported, appearing behind him again. Only this time, Sundowner turned around. Luna could only watch as the humongous machetes closed between her neck, only for them to stop from closing, mere inches away from her neck.
"As much as I'd love to kill you." Sundowner said as he retracted his machetes. "I can't, because without you, the moon won't rise and the sun won't go down, if I killed your sister." Luna mentally sighed. "But I can still hurt you!"
Luna gasped when she saw Sundowner's fist come closer and closer. She felt her jaw crack underneath the sheer force of his punch, as she was sent flying. Luna could only see the faint coler of blue, which probably meant she was still in the air. As she looked down, she could see the faint color of the concrete beneath her.
Sundowner watched as Princess Luna fell to the ground, he lifted his leg, and when Luna was about to hit the ground, he kicked her in her gut, sending her flying into the walls he had been sent flying into, just moments ago.
Sundowner laughed, but was surprised when Princess Celestia appeared in front of him. Bucking him in his gut, Sundowner was sent flying yet again. Only this time, before he hit the wall, he turned around and-- because of his cyborg body-- was able to 'push' himself of the wall, and sending himself flying towards Celestia. Celestia did not even notice him coming, she saw him flying towards him, and in the blink of an eye, he was behind her.
Celestia turned around and laughed. "You missed!"
"He, guess again." Sundowner said as he de-clipped his machetes. "It was never my intention of killing you. But as I said before: I can still hurt you."
Celestia gave him a confused look, but suddenly collapsed on the hardened concrete. She looked at her hooves, they were covered in blood. "What did you?" She asked.
"Cut your legs, you'll need medical attention." Sundowner replied, walking towards her and picking her up by her neck. Celestia gasped for air.
Princess Celestia! Rainbow Dash exclaimed, flying towards her. Only to stop when Celestia raised her hoof.
"Rainbow Dash, d-don't.. He's-- ACK-- he's t-to strong."
"But Princess, we can--."
Rainbow Dash. Celestia said as tears rolled down her cheeks. Please.
"I-I can't!" Rainbow Dash screamed as she flew towards Sundowner. Sundowner sighed and slashed his machete at her. Rainbow Dash fell to the ground, clutching her wing in agony. "M-My wing! I--."
"It's not severed, some stitches will do." Sundowner cut her off, as he tightened his grip around Celestia's neck. "Now I'm only gonna say this once, so listen closely. Surrender now, and I might let everyone live. Don't, and.. Well, you know what happens when you don't. So just give up."
Celestia looked at her subjects. Twilight Sparkle was crying and mourning at her brother's motionless body. Rarity and Applejack were comforting each other. Fluttershy had fainted, Rainbow Dash was wounded, Pinkie Pie had frozen in fear, and her sister was probably doing worse than Rainbow Dash. Looking at Sundowner, she sighed. "I... Yield."
Sundowner smiled and let go of her neck. Letting her fall on the ground, he turned around and raised his fist. "Victory!"
"Victory!" The Griffons shouted in union. Soon, the entire army was chanting the single word they had yearned to hear for so many months: Victory. They had won.
Everything went smoothly after the battle of Canterlot. Peace had returned to the land, ponies were given a simple choice:Live or Die. The Elements of Harmony were kept under surveillance twenty four seven. As for the Princesses? Well, after Sundowner had his little 'talk' with them, they weren't as resistant as they were before. Now, after four months of peace, we watch as Sundowner and king Odero have their final talk.
"Are you sure that this is the right choice?" King Odero asked as he and Sundowner stood upon the balcony of his castle.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I can't stick around in one place, it gets boring. And besides, these resistance fighters need to be dealt with one way or another." Sundowner replied.
"Well, then it is settled. Oh, and queen Chrysalis has sent us yet another proposition." King Odero laughed.
"How many times do I gotta say this: I'm not interested in becoming her fucktoy!" Sundowner said.
King Odero laughed. "I'll never understand your choice of words. But I am glad you didn't kill me back then, because now, I can see my kingdom in its full glory. "
"You're welcome." Sundowner said as he turned around. "Well, gotta go. Can't keep my little angles waiting."
"Indeed, live long and prosper, Sundowner." King Odero said.
"Of course I will, thank Armstrong for that." Sundowner said as he walked of the balcony. "See you around, King Odero."
And with that said, Sundowner departed for yet another mission. For the life of this mercenary, was just getting started.
Red Sun, Red Sun over paradise;
Red Sun, Red Sun over paradise;
Golden rays of the glorious sunshine,
Sending down such a blood-red light.
Now the animals slowly retreat to the shadows,
Out of sight.
Arid winds blow across the mountains,
Giving flight to the birds of prey.
In the distance machines come to transform Eden,
Day by day...Only love is with us now,
Something warm and pure.
Find the peace within ourselves,
No need for a cure.
When the wind is slow and the fire's hot,
The vulture waits to see what rots.
Oh, how pretty, all the scenery,
This is nature's sacrifice!
When the echoes bloom with a brisk attack,
The reptile tail ripped from it's back.
When the sun sets,
We will not forget the Red Sun over paradise.
Red Sun...
