"Alright I'll give you a call okay" Ed said as he waved and smiled as Filthy Rich left with Diamond Tiara close to his side.

After stopping Bald from attempting that poor excuse of an assassination. Filthy Rich quickly introduced himself and his Daughter, they talked briefly, asking if Ed would have lunch sometime with them, and also if Ed worked at Canderlot Corporation, which he responded with "Yes I'm Twilight Sparkle's new partner if that means anything to you". Shortly after their talk they had to take their leave as they were on a schedule. Ed let them know he would give them a call as we now return to Ed waving goodbye to them as he smiled.

Diamond Tiara half turned as he waved goodbye with a soft smile as Ed just felt his heart melt a little.

"Well at least I got to know the kid again" Ed said out loud as he watched them enter the Canderlot building and disappear from his sight.

"Now where's that girl" Ed thought to himself as he put a hand up to his head blocking the sun as he scanned the area noticing that a few woman were looking at him.

Ed stopped as he felt a tug on the back of his vest. He turned around and saw the little green haired girl but with long black pants on that didn't fit her. Before he could talk she quickly spoke up.

"Why is there blood on you" She asked monotone as Ed was about to open his mouth to speak but froze.

"Oh shit" Ed had forgotten he had blood on him. He wondered what Diamond and Filthy Rich thought when he was talking with them. And maybe that was why the women were staring at him around him. Or maybe it was because he stopped Bald, or maybe both!?

His head slumped a little before perking back up as he smiled.

"I just fought a monster, that's why" Ed said as he smiled at the girl hopping it didn't creep or freak her out.

To his surprise she just hummed very plainly before nodding "Okay"

Ed thought that the sight of blood would at least concern her, but he paid no mind to it as he heard honking nearby. He looked as he saw Spike getting out of the driver seat of a limo. The kid smiled as he waved at Ed and quickly rushed to open the limo door to let Ed in. Ed just chuckled watching the kid all happy and energetic. He looked down to the green haired girl as he knelled to her causally clapping his hands as he went to the end of the girls pants which were hitting the floor and put a single hand on it.

As the pants began to shrink and fit the girl properly, as he at looked the girl he noticed that she had green eyes as well, but something was off putting about them, like they were memorizing or something. He quickly waved the thought as he smiled at her.

"So what's your name kid" Ed asked as he gave her hand and she accepted it as they began walking to the limo.

"I don't know" She said monotone with barely a hint of emotion.

"What do you mean you don't know" Ed responded as he chuckled at the girl.

"I mean they don't give test subjects real names"

Ed's grin faltered for a second as he thought he misheard her.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear you" Ed said as he stopped walking still keeping on a small smile.

The little girl looked at him now as she remained expressionless.

"I mean, they didn't name me, when they created me in a test tube"

Ed just stared at her trying to understand what she was saying. As he was going to ask her what she was saying. A scenario played out in his mind.

The sound of glass breaking as the asset exited the test tube, the condition they were in as they left, and most importantly what was the Asset?

"We have an asset out of containment!"

Out of everyone running, there was a little girl with green hair walking on the sideline of those running out of the building.

Ed noticed she had on a white lab coat that dragged on the floor and was bare-footed as she walked slowly as if she was weak or tired.

"Hey little lady" Ed called out as the girl suddenly stopped and her demeanor changed.

She was suddenly still almost like she just got caught, her face was unreadable like she was trying to keep a front. Ed just found all this weird as he approached her.

Ed examined the lab coat she had on and saw that it was wet and that she was naked underneath it as well.

Ed snapped out of his trance as she spoke again.

"But they did give me a code name" She said as she titled her head.

"I believe it was... Changeling"

The word popped in his mind as his brain combined through its dictionary for the word. He only saw it once, in a dictionary, back in Equestria. It was in a book about races and creatures. Ed went quickly went back to the definition as his mind read the exact words the page had on Changelings.

With the power to shape shift into any disguise, they feed off love and also are a danger to Equestria, and if you look into their eyes, they have the magic to hypnotize you at will.

As Ed remembered these words, he instantly flashed back to his interaction with the little girl.

The green haired girl said as she didn't look at him but remained forward.

Ed was about to say something as she turned her head to him but screaming suddenly came from within the building as he whipped his head and saw that fewer woman were not exiting the building.

Turning his head back to the girl he noticed that she was rubbing her eyes with her sleeve that looked soaked.

Ed blinked as he looked to the girl who was still expressionless as he asked calmly. "What do you think your name should be?"

As she looked up to him she hummed before giving a little smile.

And the one who rules over the Changelings, the one who is the Queen of them all, is-

"Chrysalis" She said with a hint of happiness as Ed smiled and nodded.

"That's a good name" Ed said as he began walking with the little girls hand still in his.

As they neared the limo she spoke up. "How come you’re being oblivious to what I told you?"

Ed looked to her as he replied "How come you trust me"

She broke her expressionless self as she smirked.

"Because you hate that woman"

Ed just chuckled. "I don't think I hate any women in my life" Ed said as he smiled brightly.

Chrysalis grinned softly while looking forward again. "I can see what your emotions are saying, it's almost as if there screaming, and those feelings you hide all the way back in your heart, I can sense them, do you know what their saying, can you hear your own emotions"

As they came to the limo Ed nodded to Spike as the kid took the hint to walk back to the driver seat as he looked back to Chrysalis. The green haired girl went to get in but was stopped as a hand was put on her shoulder causing her to freeze up as she sensed a burst of emotions come flowing through her as she gasped and threw her head back. She fell into the limo as she landed on the seat overcome with fatigue. She managed to flip herself over as she looked at Ed standing out the door.

His expression was one she thought a person could never have. All her life she saw expressions and emotions, happy, sad, tired, and even horny, all these but not an expression or emotion like this. The man she saw before him wasn't evil, she sensed evil and could taste it in the air of those that were corrupted and crazy. What she sensed wasn't evil. It was something else entirely, what she felt was.

Darkness... as the man stood just outside that limo door, she saw that he had an expressionless face. But his eyes, his eyes were what drove her over the edge, it was like looking into a man who could kill those he wanted to, take what he wanted and do what he pleased. He wasn’t evil no, he was just putting all these negative thoughts into one place and closing the door on it. But she could feel it, the darkness that was overflowing inside him, he could put up a front like he's done since she's met him but she can tell. He wasn't a good person... but he chose to be one. Ever since she met him she could see the kindness, the warmth in his heart, keeping the darkness hidden so that no one could see it. She didn't know if she's the only one who knows this side of him but for now she was okay with just knowing that he was someone she could trust.

As she sat up and scooted over his expression changed and all the darkness emitting from him went back inside suppressed. He smiled as he entered the limo and closed the door. He looked over to the girl who seemed calm and sighed.

"For someone who can read emotions you sure do trust me a lot" Ed said as he looked out the window and wondered why he let himself go for that one moment.

She looked at him beside her and smiled lightly. "Because you came to help me when no else didn't even spare me a glance" she said as he leaned on him.

Ed just shook his head grinning while he let her lay on him as they rode in peace.

Then it hit him. "Wait were you the one that let that monster out?" He asked as she suddenly tensed up.

"Uhh, so I also felt that you feel self-conscious about your height, want to talk about it" She said while giving a toothy smile which Ed responded with a karate chop to the head.
