"So what exactly are you?" Mr. Cake asked as he was flipping a hamburger on the grill behind the bar.

Getting a better view of the place Ed had seen that there was a dance floor, a bar and grill, and a bunch of booth to the side which expanded into two rows, the upstairs had 2 mini bars and grills as well with some booths too, but Ed sat at the main bar awaiting his burgers while Spike and Chryaslis played on the dance floor trying to step on all the white panels that lit up as Mrs. Cake suggested that the dance floor could light up and said that this was a little game installed into the colored panels. Seeing no harm in it since they were done eating he asked them if they wanted to, well they didn't need to say yes as they jumped onto the dance floor and awaited the little game. They had been at it for a while now as Ed could hear them laughing and jumping for a good couple of minutes. That was right around when Mr. Cake decided to ask Ed his question, which Ed answered with.

"I don't really know, still trying to figure that out" Ed said as he took another sip of the new drink he had called, Loki Cola, oddly enough it tasted similar to coke-a-cola like the one back on Earth.

"Hm... well I don't care what you are really, not to sound rude or anything, I'm just glad you showed up when you did, me and my wife owe you our lives, your free to eat here anytime Edward" Mr. Cake paused as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Just make sure to hold back next time okay" He said as he gave a nervous smile as he looked over to the stack of plates next to Ed as he gave a small chuckle.

Ed put his drink down and flashed a guilty smile. "Sorry about that Mr. Cake, I haven't had anything in a good while"

"Well actually since the assassin problem back in Equestria which expanded over a couple days and then last night and this morning, jeez I can't remember the last time I was this hungry"

"When you were on the island"

"Which was for a good long while"

Ed just mentally sighed. "Gee thanks for reminding me"

"What was that Ed?" Mr.Cake asked as he put a hand to his ear.

"Oh! uh nothing, just said that this won't happen again, I just hadn't had a good meal in a couple of days, went on a trip and the food was terrible there, glad I came back and ran into this place when you needed me, the found you guys make is great!" Ed said with a wide smile.

Ed only half lied, the half truth was that the food here was actually pretty damn good. He never felt so damn good in his life, he was in total bliss. The only thing that was missing was his last hamburger as he waited patiently for it.

"Hey Ed!"

Ed turned his head slightly as he heard the voice call to him from behind. He fully turned off the high chair as he saw Twilight entering the place with katana in hand. He smiled as he waved to her. She quickly waved back with a gleaming smile. Ed felt a little warm at that smile but was quickly snuffed out as he saw another person enter in with her. With a odachi by her side, Celestia herself walked in as she stood by Twilight, staring at Ed as if she was analyzing him. Ed's smile faltered for a second before reminding himself that this wasn't the same Celestia that lied to him and threw him into another world. He quickly waved to Celestia as well getting a simply wave back plus a small smile from Celestia. Wondering if he should be concerned that she actually smiled at him he mentally shrugged as he turned back around and continued sipping on his drink.

"Twilight you came!" He heard Spike say happily.

"The kid probably told Twilight where we were" Ed thought as he put his drink down.

Ed's eyes widened. "The kid"

Ed quickly turned his whole body as he saw Chrysalis and Celestia staring at each other. He saw that Spike and Twilight were talking to each other, oblivious to the two next to them staring at each other.

"Hello child" Celestia said with a warm smile as she was unaware of what stood in front of her.

Ed looked at Chrysalis carefully as he noticed her hands were behind her back, as if she was shy but he saw the kitchen knife in her hands carefully hidden. Ed didn't know what she was about to do but he already wasn't liking it.

"Chrysalis..." Ed trailed off as he got her attention watching herself turn her head slightly towards him before letting out a small sigh.

"Maybe another time thunder thighs" Chrysalis said as she stuck her nose up and turned around walking away while putting the knife in her pocket.

Ed just let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as Chrysalis joined him at the bar. She couldn't quite get on the high chair as it was, too high of course. Before he helped her up he looked to Celestia who just had a dumbfounded look and was scratching the side of her head before shrugging. He went back to Chrysalis who was just trying to pull herself up but was having little success. He quietly snapped making one of her jumps a little higher as she finally managed to get up and sit on the chair. She turned to Ed with a blush as she averted her eyes a little.

"I-I could have done that by myself" Chrysalis cutely stuttered as her inner tsundere was showing.

Ed just smiled as he sipped on his drink. "What are you talking about, I didn't help you up" Ed said playing innocent.

Chrysalis just pouted as she puffed a cheek out acting adorable. Ed gave a flashy smile as he realized his drink was now gone. He had emptied his 4th soda as he now put it with the rest of the empty cans by his side on the table. Mr. Cake quickly noticed this as he approached Ed with his burger.

"Another soda Ed?" He asked.

"No thanks Mr.Cake just water is fine now" Ed responded giving a small smile at the mans generosity.

"Sure thing Ed!" Mr.Cake said with a smile as he side stepped to the cabinet getting out a cup for Ed.

Ed didn't look at him finish the process as he eyed his hamburger now licking his lips. He was about full and finished as he took the hamburger into his hands lifting it up as he brought it close to his mouth. His mouth was already watering as he could smell the alluring aroma it gave off. And as it came into his mouths reach.

"What is he doing here!?"

A sudden Rainbow Dash appeared.

Ed stopped for a second at the sudden response before lifting the hamburger again and going to take a bite out of it.

"You know Mr.Edward here?" Celestia asked sounding a little surprised to say the least.

"Well yeah, he uh..." Rainbow trailed off as she didn't want to explain what happened.

"He put her in her place" Twilight spoke up as it seemed she joined the conversation.

"Well he didn't have to! It's not like I was doing anything wrong in the first place" Rainbow argued back.

"Well maybe if you weren't being a nuisance and causing a scene he wouldn't have too" Twilight answered slightly annoyed.

"Well maybe if you weren't such a shitty partner-"

"Ex-Partner, Ed's my new partner" Twilight said cutting of Rainbow in a matter of fact tone.

"What do you mean Ex? You can't just go around picking whoever you want, what about the other girls huh what about them-"

"Ex-Partners too" Twilight said cutting her off again.

"What!? Why I oughta-" *Splat*

Rainbow stopped talking as she felt a hamburger go down the side of her head. She slowly turned her head as she saw Chrysalis with her arm out like she threw the thing and Ed with his back turned and his hands up like he was about to take a bite out of something. Chrysalis just had a look of satisfactory on her face as she crossed her arms and huffed. Rainbow on the other hand just looked pissed.

"Little piece of -"

"Enough!"

Everyone in the room went silent as they looked to Celestia. She looked rather serious as she stood tall and radiant.

"I know you two might not see eye to eye Twilight and Rainbow, but like it or not you two are still partners" She said calmly as they both looked confused.

Before the two can saying anything she spoke again. "It's not up for discussion, the group I assigned to you Twilight will remain your group, you being leader is now gone Twilight, Edward Elric over here will now lead your group, granted he is okay with the position?" She asked in a curious voice as Ed just sighed and got down from the high chair.

"Sure why not, not like I have a choice I'm guessing" Ed said as he rubbed his neck while leaning against the bar counter.

"Wonderful, the rest of the group should be here now, get to know them if you already haven't and if anything else I would like to talk to you later tomorrow for your first assignment, oh and also think of a team name, very important" She said as she walked away as she was done talking.

Ed just watched Celestia walk away as she exited the store. As soon as she was gone Twilight and Rainbow Dash starred at each other like two girls trying to kill each other with laser beams coming out of their eyes. Ed just sighed as he turned to Chrysalis.

"Why'd you throw the hamburger?" He asked.

"I could sense that inner anger coming out so I decided to see if throwing something at her would calm her down" Chrysalis looked to the cat fight next to them and shrugged. "Looks like it didn't work"

Ed just face palmed before letting his hand rub down his face. He turned back to Mr.Cake as he raised his hand but was met with a hand of rejection.

"Sorry Ed we don't got more hamburgers, want some bean sprouts?" Mr.Cake asked as she gave a happy smile.

Ed just groaned as he began walking away. "No thanks Mr.Cake" He grabbed Spike as he walked past him. "Spike take me home"

"I'm ready for sleep"
