As Ed walked with Twilight and Spike he noticed something particular, everyone had a gun with them. Everywhere he looked he saw that every woman in this building had a gun in their holster, some even had big long cases which Ed thought were shotguns, machine guns, or even sniper rifles as Ed noticed that a few of them were bigger than others. As he turned back to Twilight he saw that out of everyone in the building she was the only one with a katana as she carried it sheathed in her left hand. This intrigued Ed as he walked on with the Twilight and Spike still looking around till he heard his name being called snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Hey Ed, I've been meaning to ask, what weapon type are you" Twilight asked as she leaned forward a little trying to catch his attention as she saw him spacing out. Ed just looked over to Twilight all the while smiling as he spoke.

"All round" Ed said as he shrugged. "I wield any weapon, though I haven't tried them all, if anything I prefer to just stick to my fists" He said putting his fist into into his hand as he grinned.

"Really? You don't have a preference? Or any weapon that you main?" Twilight asked as she felt confused.

"Well, I do prefer something that I can slash or beat the shit out of someone with, guns are my least favorite if that's a preference" Ed said wondering if that answer was good enough for Twilight as she just sighed.

"But doesn't that mean you'll be inexperienced with the weapon if you've never used it before?" Twilight asked as they kept on walking while Spike listened carefully to their conversation.

Ed just shook his head. "I have learned to fight with my hands, anything I put in my hand is an extension of my hand, and a part of my body as a whole" Ed said while deep in thought as he looked back on his teachers lessons and felt a ping of nostalgia hit him.

"You dumb ass, just because you pick up a weapon doesn't mean you need to learn all new tricks and shit for it, just imagine the sword as an extension of your body, with it you can reach longer and cut anything in your way, as long as your remember that, you'll fine Edward Elric, now hurry up and go out there to get me some food, I'm starving" Ed chuckled as he recalled his teacher words wondering if she really knew what she was saying. Either way he just shook his head before looking at Twilight who had a worried expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" Ed asked as she turned to Spike who had a worried expression on his face as well.

"That's really cool Edward but... do you actual own any type of weapon?" She asked as Ed became concerned at her tone.

"Do I need to own a weapon to become your partner?" Edward asked as Twilight just scratched her head before shrugging.

"Well you see... there's never been a hunter who hasn't had a weapon, you’re the first person I've ever met who prefers to use his fist instead of an actual weapon" She said while Spike nodded and spoke up.

"Are you really that strong that you don't need a weapon to kill a monster?" Spike asked causing Ed to raise an eyebrow as he pondered that question himself.

"With my powers I can easily torch or crush any monster in my way, though I don't think I would ever use my powers unless I was in deep deep shit or somebody needed help" He thought as he turned to Spike and gave a sincere look.

"It would have to matter on the situation I guess" Ed said while Twilight and Spike were confused at this. Ed just sighed before noticing that they were in another part of the building that was sort of empty except for a couple of woman at the front desk. He was about to recall what he read in the book about this place before Spike beat him too it.

"Welcome to the registration hall, here you can sign up to work for this company quick and easy" Spike said as he held out his hands showcasing the room.

"Though I need identification and forms, a test to see my abilities and such, then a bunch of other crap to make sure I'm ready for the job they give me, kid I think your misunderstand the words, quick and easy" Ed said as he just groaned and the amount of time it would take for him to do all these things. He read that you can just transfer companies for faster and easier job assignments, though he read that actually signing up to being a hunter took a lot of time and effort, Ed already knew that he wasn't from this world, he had left his phone and other shit back in Equestria so all he was stuck with was his pocket watch. Not that Ed was complaining but the whole process to get a ID, a license, then to come back with said new ID, and license, would probably take him a good year since the job was so high paying and important.

Ed just looked too looked at Twilight with a forced smile on his face. "Do you think I can just say I'm your partner and they'd let me work with you, and also pay me? He asked as Twilight just shook her head.

"Sorry Ed, there's a lot of procedures to becoming a hunter at Canderlot, as long as you have your hunter license and ID with you, you should be fin-"

"Edwarddddd" He heard a woman shout as he grinned knowing who it was. And as the heavens themselves were actually not fucking over Ed in the ass for once, he heard his goddess call him from inside the hall as it echoed. As he turned and looked he saw Luna waving at him from a seat not too far by. He gave her a smile and waved back and she stood approaching them.

All of a sudden Twilight pulled him close to her as she spoke in a whisper. "You know Luna Moon?

Ed perked up at this nodding his head while taking in the fact that her last name was Moon. As he looked back he saw the woman in front of him as he smiled.

"Princess" He said politely as he bowed before her causing her to blush.

"No need for nicknames Edward Elric, though I appreciate it" She said as played with her hair curling it around with her finger.

Ed stood straight as he shook his head. "You misunderstand, it's a name of honor from where I come from" Ed said as he made sure no one was looking as he flashed his right eye blue for a second causing the woman to blink and stare before smiling at this action.

"Then I will accept this title then" She said while bowing a little to him.

"Thank you Luna" He said smiling at her. It was until this moment that an idea sprang up in his mind as he smiled even more.

"Hey Luna I have a favor to ask" He said as the woman looked up from her bow before standing straight and nodding.

"What is it you need?" She asked him as he went to her side quickly, whispering something in her ear as her eyes were still for a moment before blinking and nodding her head.

"As long as we are present then yes" She replied to his whisper as Twilight and Spike were wondering what Ed had just asked.

With that Ed stepped to her side as he looked to Twilight and Spike. "I'll see you two later, I have to do something really fast before I can register" He said casually as he had a smile on his face.

"Uh, sure Ed, I'll see you later then" She said as she bowed to Luna who quickly returned the favor, Spike did the same to Luna before going up and fist bumping Ed who accepted it with a smirk.

"Watch your surroundings next time kid alright" Ed said to the boy who had a big smile on his face as he began walking away to do his next task.

"I will Big Bro, lets hangout later okay" He said as he ran off and waved good bye over his shoulder.

Twilight just tilted her head before looking to Ed and asking. "What did you mean by that?" She asked as Ed had a blank look on his face before shaking his head and quickly waving his hand.

"Ask Spike sometime Twilight, I'm pretty sure he'll over exaggerate or something and tell you what happened better than me" Ed said as he bowed to Twilight taking that as their cue to depart. With that Luna turned followed my Ed as he walked beside her. Twilight just stared at the two before sighing.

"Jeez Ed just who are you?" She asked herself as she turned and started to walk to the elevator to see her boss.

"So out of curiosity... how many melee users are there besides Twilight?" Ed asked as he walked beside human Luna and watched all the woman polishing guns of every type. Handguns, machine guns, shotguns, snipers, and Ed even saw a bazooka in the far back causing him to whistle as they walked on.

"Besides my sister and I, theirs Twilight's father and brother, and there aren't any in the Canderlot Corporation either if you were wondering" She said as she turned down a path and turned with her.

"Why is there so few melee users?" Ed asked as he ducked the barrel of a sniper rifle as a woman carelessly swung it around as picket it up.

"Well that's simple, guns are more safer to use then the melee type weapons, without getting in close you can pick off the monster your hunting without even being in its range of attack, though I am fairly certain this tactic is more efficient and resourceful, you still have hunters using the old fashion way from back then to deal with the current monsters we have today" Luna explained as she approached a door and two women in black opened the door quickly letting them through as they were now in a small armory with melee weapons of all types.

Ed stopped in his tracks as he took a second to appreciate the room around him as he saw broad swords, katanas, spears and even a claymore that looked like it was from the old times. His mind came back to the world of the living as he saw Luna take one of the bigger swords and lift it up with ease. It looked like a bastard sword as she turned with it before swinging it a few times making a whooshing sound. As she smiled at her weapon she looked up to Ed and blushed before coughing and standing straight.

"So you said you were going to make a weapon correct?" She asked as she set the sword back onto its stand without looking.

"I don't see why you would want to see our collection before deciding what to make" She added as she folded her arms and leaned back into the wall she stood near.

"And if anything how will you go about making this weapon?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow with a different agenda on her mind as she stared at the man.

Ed just stood there looking at all the weapons before letting a smile come onto his face as he turned to her.

"You know I'm still in the process of understanding my power, but creating a special weapon should be easier than crossing universes am I right?" He asked the woman as she just blinked and starred at the man in front of him.

She waited a few seconds before asking the question. "You’re not from this world are you?"

Ed just chuckled. "Get me 50 pounds of iron and then I'll let you know"
