"Twilight, did you finish your royal duties yet?" Princess Celestia asked. Twilight stared into space outside the castle window looking down at Ponyville. Celestia cleared her throat, "Twilight!" Twilight jumped and looked behind her. "Oh umm yes I finished," Twilight spoke weary. "Did you now," Celestia challenged. "Yes, I sent guards to the uh place, and I ordered the cake for the thing and uh-" "Did you pick up Luna from the Princess Con?" She asked. "What?" "Exactly". "Twilight sighed. "I see your point," she mumbled. "Good, now I think you know what to do," Celestia walked out of the room half slamming the door.
"I wonder what my friends are doing," Twilight wondered. She opened her wings and flew out of the castle into Ponyville. She headed towards her castle. "Stupid map sent them away," she moaned. Her friends were the only ones sent this time. All the cutie marks glowed except hers. "Even Spike isn't here," she sighed. "I just hope they never forgot me. They have been gone for almost a year. I can't seem to understand. Even the humans didn't go through what i did," she frowned.
Twilight looked at the mirror that led to Canterlot High. "I wish," she whispered. She looked around. A spell book! Twilight ran over. She looked both ways, no pony was around. She opened it. "I have never heard of these spells!" Twilight gasped. "Enough, I need to go home."
Twilight closed her eyes, her new spell book tucked softly under her bead. She drifted into her dream. She woke up in the town where her first friendship mission had to be completed. "PinkiePie!"she shouted. She walked in front of her. "Pinkie Pie?" Twillight reached out to touch her, her hoof went through. "What?" Then a familiar voice sounded in the background. "It's more a memory then a dream Twilight," the voice called. Twilight realized the voice. "Luna! Where are you?" Twilight looked back in forth, ponies walking through her. Luna didn't answer. "So it's a memory. I must be grieving more than I thought," she frowned and closed her eyes. When she opened she was at Canterlot High. "Another one?" This time she was backstage at the Rainboom's concert. She saw that her human self was talking to Sunset Shimmer. "Not this. Wake Up!" Her voiced echoed and then she woke up.
