Apples, Cutie Marks, Philosophy, Oh My!

        A week had passed since her barnyard tussle with Applejack and the Rainbow Pony had not seen her friend. With a storm system pushed ahead by the bureaucrats in Canterlot, she had been frantically scrambling to reorganize her weather pegasi's work schedules. It looked like somepony was going to be pulling overtime and that pony was probably her.

        "Maybe I could get Twilight to give me an energy spell or something for an extra shift..." She wondered aloud as she drifted aimlessly over Ponyville. The weather had been scheduled to be perfectly sunny skies for a month, practically a holiday for pegasi. Surely most of her underlings had planned something for the coming days and now she had to inform them of another 40 hour week.

        "If only I could get one pegasus to pull a shift, even someone not on the weather team... I could get Fluttershy to do it if I could persuade her but.. it's Fluttershy. No doubt she would be too timid to work on a big storm system with a new partner on her first time to be much help. I guess I gotta hit Twilight's place!"

        Gripping her cloud more securely RD whisked towards the Ponyville library, an iridescent multicolored shimmer trailing behind her.

        The gnarled and weather stained door creaked open, groaning like some behemoth waking from a century's slumber.

        "Oh it's you Rainbow Dash!", exclaimed Spike as he struggled with the heavy door. "this thing sure could use some apple butter, these hinges barely work!"

        "Hi Spike, is Twilight around? You could go see Applejack about that grease. I know she'd give it to you right away."

        Spike paused and leaned in close, winking and pretending to whisper confidentially, "but I bet you'd get it from her way faster AND for free!"

How could he know anything about that?! The cyan mare's face drained of blood until it was sky blue and she finally croaked out, lamely, "She'd be just as fast for you..." She shoved past Spike, ignoring the source of her embarrassment and called out almost angrily, "TWILIGHT!"

        The purple unicorn clopped down the stairs and started in surprise, seeing the tension between Spike and Rainbow Dash. "Hey friendo- what do you need?" she nickered easily, attempting to bring harmony to the room through sheer will.

        "I'll get to that but I think SPIKE needs to go see Applejack to get some lube for the door, he could barely open it."

        "Is that true Spike? It sounds like you haven't even touched the book I gave you on being proactive!"

        "But Twiligh-!"

        "I don't need to hear an excuse young dragon, so move it!"

        Rainbow Dash practically pranced with the success of her ploy as Spike trudged out the door grumbling, "What's gotten into Rainbow? I only meant that with her wings she could have gotten to Sweet Apple Acres and back in a jiffy. Jeez."

        As the ponies watched the small purple monster-baby lumber away into Ponyville and the fading light, Rainbow nudged Twilight's shoulder with her nose and chuckled mockingly, "Your little Spikey-Wikey sure has a good habit of obedience, did you train that into him?"

        "Knock it off Rainbow Dash, you know that he's my special #1 assistant. He takes his job very seriously."

        Unabashed, Rainbow replied, "And I take also take my job seriously. Your buddies up in Canterlot decided to mess with MY weather schedule so now I'm short some pegasi and I'm already working my team overtime to cover this storm system! That is why I am here. Twilight Sparkle, I request a spell that will let me go fix a problem that an egghead created. I figure it takes an egghead to fix it so maybe you know of a spell or something to give me some extra energy?" She cocked her head as she paused for dramatic effect.

        "Well I was just reading this new book the other day on extreme athletic training: How to Work Out All Day Long, and I saw this one spell but... I'm pretty sure it wasn't the sort of thing that's smiled upon for Celestial Employees* even though it's not technically illegal."

        "Aw stop being prudish Twilight!"

        "Are you reading more Rainbow Dash? I could never thought that word would come out of your mouth," Twilight snickered, "but you sound like you really need it..."

        "So you'll help me out? Thanks!"

        "You need to know," Twilight declared gravely, "these things have a certain cost, Rainbow".

        With an incredulous stare, Rainbow Dash said, "Weeird. I never expected you to charge me anything. I mean I'll pay whatever the price because this is practically life and death. If something gets on my management record I might never sign a deal with the Wonderbolts!"

        Twilight blushed at the ground, shuffling her hooves nervously. "I don't mean money, Rainbow, and besides, the energy won't kick in for 12 hours after the ritual is performed..."

        "Well let's get started! That'll be right in time for the morning shift~ I'll just stand here while you do your thing."

        Dash squared her shoulders and thrust her head proudly, as if posing for a portrait.

        " It's a little more... involved than that... plus I've never cast this spell before..."

        "Why are you acting strange? Don't worry Twi, you're great at magic! Just tell me where you need me."

        "Really Rainbow, there are some serious side affects other than stupendous energy 12 hours later."

        "Just. Do. It. I need this."

        "Okay! um... Just stand still I guess..." Twilight screwed her face up in concentration, summoning magic from whatever realm it came. Her horn began to shimmer, purple radiance fluttering around her knob. The glow grew steadily until it began to plume outwards, wave after wave filling the room with an aurora of magic and engulfing both ponies in it's bubble. The light works began to fade and the sphere burst, pouring it's essence into the equine bodies. A small cloud of particles remained, with nopony to fertilize.

        "Wow this is- Wow this feels!- gah..." Rainbow dash shuddered all over and her eyes rolled back into her head. She spasmed like a seizure victim before Twilight's eyes while a drop of sweat trickled from behind her ear down her chest and belly before dripping to the ground. Shaking off the immediate effects of the spell, Dash looked at her friend accusingly, "Why didn't you geek out like me? I saw you get filled with the same magic. And it looks like you underestimated yourself, there's still some stuff floating around!"

        As if hearing itself mentioned, the cloud flew out of the window and disappeared into the fast setting darkness.

        Boggle eyed at the reactionary magical swarm, Twilight recovered her cool and theorized, "I can only think it's because I'm more used to magical energy or my spells are more attuned to my own body. I think you really need to know the side effects of this Rainbow, I really don't think you committed yourself to this course of action before thorough review."

        "You mean those weren't the side effects?"

        "No, there's more... This spell exponentially puts out, 12 hours later, the amount of energy that you spend now participating in a secret desire of yours. The theory of it is based Starswirl the Bearded's 14th law of friendship, 'Magical energy is greatly buffed when you are more true to yourself around your friends'"

        "Uhh, you wanna repeat that in regular-pony words?"

        "It means show a part of yourself you've kept hidden and you'll get rewarded in 12 hours." Twilight answered snappishly.

        "But... What if I don't want to?"

        "Oh it doesn't matter, you should be starting to feel the impulse for honesty and bonding soon enough. In fact, I think I might be feeling it right now... I did absorb some magic just now after all..."

        The tingling began in the hooves and worked it's way up into the ponies' brains. Rainbow Dash started blushing while Twilight made soft keening sounds and trotted over to the bed, laying down on her back. The unicorn started to move hips around, rubbing her hooves down her sides. Her friend however was having a mental battle.

Am I betraying the bond that Applejack and I just strengthened a week ago? We never really talked about the implications... All I know is that here, in front of me, is one of the most attractive and intelligent ponies I've met...

        It was too much to bear: Twilight's hot and heaving flesh was in front of her, releasing intoxicating aroma's that did nothing but awaken the pegasus' passion. Twilight Sparkle, excited from the residual energy of the spell moaned urgently as she lay belly up, undulating arousal from her marehood.

        Rainbow Dash, now frenzied, wasted no time with foreplay. She stroked her tongue over Twilight's lower lips, tasting for the first time her friend's tangy juice. Up and down, she rolled around Twilight's hood, adding wetness and causing Twilight to create more. Dash gently nosed her slit, inhaling her warm scent and then gently grasped the unicorn's clit between her teeth. She massaged the protrusion, grinding back and forth and tugging lightly, each pressure causing Twilight to squirm and grasp in delight. The horned pony wrapped her hind hooves around Dash's head and locked it in place, making sure the pressure stayed on her sex.

        Rainbow tried jerking back for air but Twilight held firm until the struggling muzzle had successfully peaked her drive. She loosened her grip on Rainbow's head and the pony gasped for air as Twilight gushed her liquid across her friend's face.

        RD crept onto the bed, standing face to face with Twilight beneath her,. They both panted heavily, gazing at each other with passion and slight disbelief. Dash's multicolored mane cascaded down as Rainbow leaned in closer, creating a sort of bright tent that shut out the everything in the world but each other. Twilight reached up with her lips and kissed another mare for the first time; she could taste the mix of her own juice and Rainbow's saliva as they mingled on the pegasus' mouth and she let her tongue out to capture more of the flavor.

        They broke off and stared for a few seconds before Twilight whispered, "Oh Dashie... Can we please do this more often? I never imagined..."

        Rainbow shut up the other pony by pressing their mouths together once more, answering the query through her usual fashion - immediate action. Twilight responded by raising her hips and whimpering excitedly, she wanted more direct stimulation.

        Dash lowered her marehood until it touched Twilight's sex. With their hips gyrating and lips crushing together, the unicorn and pegasus ground their wetness' against each other. Finally they climaxed together, their bodies bucking with the orgasm and they collapsed side by side, panting in a happy glow.

        Rainbow Dash leaned over and whispered wickedly in the other mare's ear, "I hope you don't think you're done Twilight Sparkle, I haven't indulged my secret desire enough yet"

        In response, Twilight brought one hoof up to Dash's jaw line and gently tugged their muzzles close yet again as her other hoof trailed down to Rainbow's leaking slit. She massaged slowly, trying to make it last as long as possible but she knew Rainbow Dash was more charged with sexual energy than herself, and ready to burst.

I want to make this extra special for Dashie, she thought, the first pony (stallion OR mare) to make me feel like this. Knowing what I do about her and her psyche she should love this.

        And so, Rainbow Dash, in her maddened state did not notice Twilight's horn begin to glow again. The magic, streaming in a thin trail, began to condense into a long ropelike substance. It slowly wrapped itself loosely around the pegasus' wings and then again on each of her front hooves. Right as Rainbow began to shiver like she was about to finish, Twilight removed her hoof and mouth from Dash, quickly tugging her supernatural strands into place.

        "Whoa! What in the name of Celestia are you doing Twilight?!?" Completely taken by surprise, Rainbow Dash was now suspended from the ceiling by her front hooves, her wings immobilized.

        Twilight snickered softly but didn't reply with words.

        And that was when Spike walked back into Twilight's room with a half empty jar of Apple Butter, having already greased the loud door.
