Chapter 1: What To Do?

Twilight paced quickly around her bedroom, the gears in her head were turning at full speed but she could't think straight, she just couldn't. The Castle was enormous, and Twilight wanted to do something with it, she felt small, very small. The house was just so big!

"What to do... What to do.. What to do.. What to do?" Twilight mumbled.

Twilight paced around quickly more, before finally collapsed on her bed and sighed. The door squeaked open, and a certain dragon popped in.

"Twilight? What.. What are you..." Spike started, but stopped when he saw her.

She was not a pretty sight, though she hardly ever was these days. The stress had gotten to her head, and she would lay for hours and hours, thinking about nothing in particular, for all Spike knew. He mane was springing up in all directing and she had bags under her bloodshot eyes. She was slightly dirty, and he tail was greasy, Not a pretty sight at all.

"Spike... Get...Get..." Twilight stuttered, tire in her voice. Spike knew what she meant, and went to go get them.

The Main 6 gathered around the table, and began to have a meeting.

"Twilight, we all know how small you feel here, but you have to stop moping around. You look simply.. Messy, Darling!" Rarity informed.

"Twi, maybe you should, I don't know, spread friendship around? Not saying that you don't already, of course.. Hehe.." Rainbow Dash remarked, and then got a glare.

"What we mean, Twi, is that you really need to-" Apple Jack started, but when she looked at Twilight, she was asleep. The mares sighed and decided to let her sleep.

Rarity carried her up to her room, sighing as she came to the bed.

"Twilight, please. Take care of yourself..." Rarity mumbled.

She set Twilight on the bed, and started to walk out of the room. She stopped in the doorway, and looked back. She simply had to take Twilight to the spa tomorrow. She sat in the hallway, exhausted for some reason, but couldn't think why. Twilight wasn't that heavy, but she felt tired. As she wobbled herself up, she started to walk down the stairs, and opened the door. She pushed it and walked out the castle, heading to her own home.

While walking down the path. she stared at a bush.

She hasped as she was taken by surprise when a white rabbit popped out, followed by Flutter Shy.

"Angle! Come back!!" She shouted (though her shouts were quiet). Rarity questioned this, but brushed it off. This day was strange.

This was a strange world, for all twilight knew. The shadows followed her everywhere, even in the shadows themselves. It was odd. She was walking in a never ending, black and white abyss. There were 'windows', as Twilight called them, which showed a dim, distant glow, shedding a bit of light into the dark room. It all ended with a flash of the 'windows'. A flash...

Twilight woke up to a flash of lighting. When she had fallen asleep, it was drizzling. Now it was full-on pouring. It was scary. She decided to go downstairs to read some books in the sitting room. While heading down the crystal stairs, she thought about her new home.

"This house stands out in PonyVille, and it just looks odd...And is made of crystals..."

Her thoughts were interrupted by a SLAM noise. It only happened once, and Twilight noticed it came from the door. She walked over slowly, unlocking one lock at a time. She slowly creaked open the door, and was shocked at what she found. She stared down in pity for a few second, and then reacted quickly.

At first, warmth seemed fake to him.

"Nopony would have taken me in, would they? Would they?" He thought. He lifted his dull green coated stared. He looked around, seeing crystal and a big fireplace. His head was in constant pain, and he sighed. He heard hoof-steps, and closed his eye. He wondered what species his savior was.

"Maybe he will wake up soon..." Mumbled a voice of a female. It was firm, but not demanding. Proclaiming what she thought. He also heard concern. He felt a wetness drip down his face, at a ratable speed. It had a slight warmness, and he heard a gasp.

"Oh no!" She squeaked. He felt a tissue of some-sort unwrap from his head. It was then replaced by a soft-feeling tissue, similar to the one that had been removed. He wanted to open his eyes. But he couldn't. It was a sign that he was awake, and he did not want to show that he was awake. He lay there as he knew careful eyes watched his every movement. It was a bit unsettling.

He finally gave in. He opened his dark brown eyes.

"Your finally awake!" The purple mare exclaimed. Then he noticed a horn, and wings. "An Alicorn? Or maybe.. A princess, perhaps! How amazing!" He thought.

"Please, take this medicine if your strong enough." She said, stuffing some-sort of liquid in his mouth. he almost gaged, it had tasted horrible.

"I found you on my door step, you were bleed from the head, the mouth, and many other parts. Don't move, you have a broken leg." The mare Explained. That explained the pain in his leg. He looked down at himself, noting he was not a pretty sight. His leg was bandaged and had been put on a pillow. His stomach was wrapped and he was in pain. He was also laying in a bed, in what looked like a big guest room. It was decorated with crystal items and books.

"By the way, my name is-" He never heard the name, for the medicine knocked him out, and he feel asleep.
