Come back here this instant!" "I think not fair sister!" "Luna!" Celestia was following the dark blue mare throughout the castle hallways as she tried to talk to her. Luna on the other hand was doing everything in her power to avoid her sister. "At least talk to me little sister." "We have nothing to speak about, go bother somepony else." At last her room was in sight, she immediately made a quick dash for it. Celestia tried to stop her by teleporting herself in the doorway but the moon princess was able to slip underneath her and slam her room door shut. "Luna please!" Celestia practically begged while also tapping her hoofs against the solid blue door. "We've said it once and we'll say it again: GO AWAY!!!" There was a slight moment of silence between them, a few seconds later Luna could hear her sister slowly walk away in defeat. She gave a heavy sigh before plopping herself onto her plush purple and blue queen sized bed feeling emotionally exhausted from what just happened. Luna has been arguing nonstop around the clock with her older sister for permission to form her Lunar Republic only to get a long winded speech about politics and other stuff like that. She simply laid there feeling absolutely hopeless as she moaned in sorrow. "You seem a bit distraught, may I ask what is the matter?" An unknown voice asked. She jumped in surprise at the sudden question for she knew for a fact there was no guards present in the hallways let alone behind her door. "W-Who said that?" No answer. "I know I heard somepony..........or something. Show yourself!" Several seconds passed before she got an answer. "I didn't mean to scare you. I just assumed you wanted somepony to talk to." "Yes, Somepony. Not some ghost." She suddenly heard a calm hearty chuckle. She looked around to see where it was coming from." "I take it you are a ghost then?" "Far from it, I hope you are not too disappointed." Actually Luna was a bit relieved. "Well if you are not said ghost, why is thou hiding?" "If thou wishes to find out, one must play a game of "Hot-And-Cold" perhaps?" "Is that a challenge?" "I guess it is. If it is true that thou enjoys a good game once in while." "I could not tell a lie. I do fairly much enjoy fun little games once is a while. That said I accept your challenge." She hopped off her bed and took a moment to really think where her challenger might be. "Aha!" She said looking underneath her bed but saw nothing there but an old bag of potato chips. "Nice try, but I would think the draft would make it a bit cold down there. What say you?" "Hmmm. Well if not there then........maybe here!" She said looking behind her curtains but to see only the window behind it. "I must admit I enjoy the cool color scheme of the curtains. Your thoughts?" "Oh your good........but not good enough!" She excitedly said opening her elegant walk-in closet only to see her beautiful dresses hanged up nice and neat. "Getting tired? I think I see another blanket in there." The voice gave a good sported laugh at his jokes, that's when Luna realized where he really was. Every time the voice spoke she could see a faint white glow........coming off the mirror that hanged next to her door. A devilish smile grew on her face. "Well that was three tries in total. I guess you win." "Really? Is this the same Luna that hates to lose?" "I assure you that I'm okay with losing a game every once in a while.....but that is not today." She levitated the mirror off the wall and up to her face. "Got you!" She said, her voice filled with newfound happiness. At first the voice said nothing but then came his heartwarming laugh. "That's the Luna I know. Looks like the game was a success." "What do you mean?" "I made you happy again. Through the power of childish games." Luna thought about what just happened and gave her own heartwarming chuckle. "My, my, my. It seems that you are very clever. My I know the name of thee?" "Astral, my fair lady. Astral the storm lord." "Strom lord?" Suddenly the mirror glowed as the surface become a projection of a sea of grey stormy clouds surrounding a full moon. "A Lord who had his eyes on fair lady the longest. For thou has gifted me with such beautiful moonlight to guild me through the darkness in my mirror for it is a manifestation of my solitude." Luna couldn't help but be moved by his kind words. "I-Is there anything I could do to help?" "Well..........there is one thing." The suddenly glowed brighter than ever right before she was magically sucked in. When she awoke she realized her body was different for her hooves were replaced with hands and feet. She also noticed that she was wearing a sparkling black dress, black heeled shoes, and a white pearled necklace. She was sitting at a elegant table you would find at a fancy diner in a large dark room lit by candlelight. Suddenly she saw someone come in through a balcony door letting in the moonlight. He was tall, well built man with a dark blue coat and a sliver mane that crackled every once in a while with blue streams of electricity. He was wearing a black suit with a blue tie with a purple hand holding a large lighting bolt icon on it. "Astral?" Luna asked squinting her eyes. "That is correct." He said with a sparkling white smile. "You look.....amazing." "And you.........look as beautiful as ever." He sat down at the table with her, the candlelight reflecting off his stately silver eyes. "I know this may be a bit sudden." He began. "But?" Luna said teasing him by closing her eyes halfway as if getting bored. Astral smiled at her cute performance yet continued. "But....I feel after all these centuries of wondering what I was missing in my life I realized that the thing that I have been searching for, the thing I have been missing......was someone who will always be by my side." "And you think that someone......is me?" "No. I know it's you for there is no one like you." His horn glowed a purple color as he poured the two a glass of wine. "I don't know Astral. You know I have a......dark side." "Who doesn't?" "But mine nearly tore the kingdom me and my sister share apart." "Hmmm. doesn't that bring back memories?" "What do you mean?" "I nearly destroyed the kingdom me and my older brother shared in a fit of uncontrollable rage which the reason I still wonder to this day. Be that as it way my older brother, Alexander the Great, imprisoned me in the Zen world only able to communicate through mirrors such as yours. Not a day goes by I wish I could go back fix things and patch things up with Alexander......but I abandoned all hope long ago." "I see." With her horn she turned on a record player that stood in the far corner of the room, it played a calming jazz song that filled the room with it's tune. "Care to dance?" She asked reaching her hand out. "I would love too." Astral said taking her hand. The two left and slowly dance in the middle of the room to the tune.
