Blooming Talent Tie-In: Righteous End of Hell
Righteous End of Hell Part 2
Broly jettisoned past a bunch of spike trees, and as he rocketed by, they exploded into tiny needles. His power was still rising ever so quickly with each moment that passed, and it didn't look to be stopping anytime soon. The only thing filling the behemoth's mind was Kakarot; the saiyan that had caused him so much fear and anger with his incessant crying as infants.
His warpath was quickly and abruptly disturbed as something landed on him from above, right on the small of his massive back. His huge body slammed and skidded through the dirt and stone, making a trench as he slid. The assailant jumped back as Broly rolled and regained a knee, sliding to a halt as he gripped the ground with his right hand, tearing finger tip-sized gashes in the soil.
The Legendary Super Saiyan slammed his fist into the ground in a sudden burst of anger, giving a curt shout.
"Gah! Who's there?! Show yourself!"
The dust began to clear, but before it did, a bolt of ki surged from the remaining dust, striking Broly's left shoulder with enough force to stumble his massive form back. The big guy started to walk forward as a hulking mass of rage, but was stumbled back and twirled around by another blast from the same direction.
"Stop playing games!" Broly growled angrily. "Fight me like a MAN!"
With the last word, Broly tossed one of his trademark Omega Shell blasts into the cloud, causing a huge green explosion of ki that rended the hell-soil asunder.
Bardock jumped to the side, barely escaping the blast with little more than few scratches and burns. Broly's anger boiled over at the sight of Kakarot's father; their features far too similar.
"KAKAROT!!"
Bardock had absolutely no time to react as the Legendary Super Saiyan's gigantic fist slammed into him with massive force. He was sent flying at high speeds backwards. He made it about a mile before a second later, he was slammed back into the ground by that same fist; it's mass crushing him painfully as if trying to grind him into dust.
Bardock coughed harshly, and let out a loud grunt as Broly's huge foot stomped down on his gut.
As he continued to put pressure on Bardock, Broly smirked and started to chuckle evily.
"B-Broly...please.." Bardock coughed and puttered between gasps and grunts. "Remember...remember who..you..are...I..am..not your...enemy...ah!"
"QUIET!!!" Broly shouted as he threw down a ball of green ki energy onto the trapped saiyan.

Sapphic kicked his leg out, bashing the attacker in the hockey mask back several feet. Behind him, Raditz held off a slender woman with freakishly long fingernails and an armored male sporting silver and blue colors; a jetpack secured to his back.
The armored one unsheathed a blade from his gauntlet, and slashed at Raditz's head; the saiyan ducked, and returned a sweep kick, knocking him off his feet. The long nailed woman pounced on him, and dug her sharp claws into his armor; they cuttrough it just as easilt as they cut his flesh.
He let out a cry of pain, but steeled himself to grab her wrists and crush them until they snapped; the cybernetic pieces sparking and exploding as the connections were severed.
As she reeled back in pain, Raditz pulled the hands out of his skin, and Sapphic came to his side. The two nodded, and charged up a ki blast each, releasing both onto her simultaneously, ending her resistance.
The hockey mask wearing one got back up and snapped his neck, swinging a machete at the two. Raditz blocked the blade gaining Sapphic some time to land several hard hits into the torso of the silent maniac.
Raditz twisted the arm he held, and the machete fell to the ground with a clang. The brothers began to couple their attacks together, each landing in quick succession, but did little more than stagger the opponent. Sapphic dropped down quickly and swept him onto his back, as Raditz followed with an axe kick to the hockey mask wearing freak's neck. Immediately they both picked him up, and tossed him with all their might into the nearest cell; the celestial door slamming shut loudly.
The two collapsed to their knees, and looked around at the waning fighting. The prison riot looked to be about over.
Sapphic, breathing heavily, staggered to his feet, wobbling a bit as he did so.
"Alright," he said tiredly. "let's...go get Broly."
Raditz's face lit up in alarm at his half brother's suggestion. "Father said he could handle it, Sapphic."
"You really believe that?"
"Of...course I do." He replied. "but...if...if father says he can--"
"If father could indeed handle him, then why are you so scared?" Sapphic questioned.
Raditz's blood boiled to his forehead at that moment. "I am not scared! I just..."
The silence between them was only broken by the occassional explosion in the distance and shouts of fighting over yonder. The siblings exchanged looks; one wearing a look of doubt, and the other wearing one of determination.
"Look, Raditz," Sapphic started. "everything is pretty much under control here; all of the high level threats have been detained, and by you and me no less. I think the demons can handle things from here. Half these criminals were many times stronger than Broly, so the only problem I see is dad fighting him alone. If we go help him, we can do it for sure. Please, brother; are you with me on this?"
Raditz looked up at his youngest brother with a bit of a defeated look on his features.
"Very well, Sapphic. Let's go help father." He finally said, getting up.
Sapphic smiled, and the duo took off into the red sky, following the ki signature of Bardock.

Bardock's back collided solidly with the rock behind him as he was forcefully thrown into it, the surface cracking on impact. He let out a loud cry of pain, as a small trickle of blood lept from his maw. His body settled, and he slowly raised his beaten head to focus his blurring eyes on his attacker.
Broly stalked him as if playing with helpless prey; he was smiling devilishly, and relishing every moment of Bardock's pain as if it were Kakarot himself.
"Does it hurt?" He snarled with a grin.
Bardock laughed; a sound which made him seem more wounded than elated. "What, this? Nah...this is...nothing..."
"I'm glad you think so, because I'm not even close to done yet, Kakarot!"
The Legendary Super Saiyan reared his fist back, and launched it full boar into Bardock's face. The rock shattered, and the shock caused his tail to unfurl from his waist. Broly grabbed the exposed body part, and proceeded to slam Bardock around like a toy, leaving imprints in the dirt and stone.
He coughed again, and breathed in before he would be thrown again. "Broly...I'm not...not Kakarot! I'm...I'm your friend.."
"KAKAROT!" Was the behemoth's only response.
* * *
As Sapphic and Raditz flew over the Hell wastes, a sudden surge of power caught their attention.
"Hey, Sapphic;" Raditz called forth. "Do you sense Frieza?"
Sapphic nodded, bewildered. "Yes, and I sense Cell and many others as well. But that's not possible, we locked them all back up after they beat each other down."
"And yet--"
Raditz was cut off as he looked down. "What the blazes is that?"
Sapphic followed his older sibling's gaze; his emerald eyes fell upon a rather massive creature sporting red and black colors and large horns atop it's head. He seemed to be half humanoid and have equine.
"Looks like a giant centaur." Sapphic remarked.
"Can't you sense it?" Raditz continued. "All those power levels are coming from him!"
How could that be? How could this centaur have all the power levels of the inmates unless--
Sapphic's eyes widened a bit. "I think I know who it is, Raditz. We have to stop him!"
"Are you insane?! His power levels are gargantuan! He'll squash us like bugs!"
"Maybe so, but we can't let him go whereever he's going. Trust me, we need to stop him now!"
"What about father?"
Sapphic grimaced, remembering their original destination. "We'll just...just have to hope he can hang on until we can get there. For now, we have to stop Tirek!"
"Tirek?" Raditz repeated, unfamiliar with the name.
The mighty centaur looked back at the two power levels approaching him. He then smirked at the sight of them.
"Prince Sapphic." He greeted with a grin as the two touched down. "I had a feeling I might run into you."
"You know my name?"
"Of course. I know all about the son of Queen Chrysalis." Tirek said. "I was not imprisoned here forever, yknow."
Sapphic nodded grimly. "Yes, I know."
The massive centaur stretched non-chalantly, and noticed the halo over the former changeling prince's head.
"I didn't expect one as powerful as you to be defeated at such a young age. My, those ponies are crafty nowadays."
"I'm no spring chicken, Tirek." Sapphic responded, dropping into a fighting stance along with his brother. "You're going to find that out soon enough."
Tirek smiled evily as he started to raise his power level. "I suppose I shall."
With a blast, Tirek sent the two sibling's dodging for cover behind the few boulders in the wastes. The hiding wouldn't save them; Tirek could sense where they were at all times. It was not like they were trying to hide though; Raditz leapt out of his cover area, and with a yell, planted a fist into the beast's jaw. At first, the attack seemed to have connected, but then Tirek laughed, and grasped the saiyan with his magic, levitating him in front of his face.
Before any attack could be made, two ki blasts staggered Tirek back, coming from the direction of one Sapphic. The former prince tossed several more at the centaur, who shielded his face from the attacks. The damage was not very much, but the assault annoyed the ancient being, and he flung Raditz straight at Sapphic. The two collided, and tumbled away, as Tirek laughed.
They recovered quickly, and launched countless more blasts at the enemy, before closing in and attempting a combo chain. Though Tirek was a huge target, he had absorbed the fighting abilities of some of the galaxies most powerful beings; he easily blocked all of their attacks, and finally countered with a magical blast to Sapphic, and a large, unrelenting smack to Raditz.
The warriors once again hit the dirt, and started to stand back up.
"You're going to have to do much better than that." He taunted.
Raditz's felt his forehead vein throbbing as he regained posture. He flung his hands out at the centaur, readying an attack.
"Double Sunday!" Raditz screamed as large purple beams flew forth from his hands.
Sapphic saw the grin on Tirek's face too late, now unable to warn his half-brother. The creature swallowed the attack as if it were a stream of water from a hose. Tirek burped and thumped his huge chest as the attack finished.
"What...what the heck?!" Raditz sputtered.
"Raditz, we have to avoid using powerful beam attacks like that; Tirek can absorb energy and magic like it was candy." Sapphic told him, coming to his side.
"You tell me this now?!"
"I...didn't think of it.."
"I see you are of no real threat to me as I am, so I suppose our game is over." Tirek announced, cracking his huge fingers. "I have a few equines to conquer back on Equestria; time to get you two insects out of my way."
* * *
Broly stopped beating on Bardock's bleeding face as an explosion rang out behind them. He turned his head to see what it was, and the size of the cloud made him do double-take.
"Huh?" He grunted. "What is that?"
Bardock noticed the beating had stopped, and took in several breathes. He saw Broly grip his head as if he were having a migrane.
"Grr! What---what's going on?" He said through gritted teeth; his voice becoming less feral.
"Broly...?" Bardock managed.
"Bardock..?" The massive saiyan replied, looking as though he had just awoken from a nap.
Bardock marveled at the fact Broly seemed to be starting to regain lucidity while in his Legendary Super Saiyan state; but he did not complain about it. No way was he going to.
Broly looked over Bardock's broken form. "I...did I...?"
Bardock managed to wave a hand up at his friend as if in a 'forget-about-it' gesture. "Don't worry about me...I'm just g;ad the beating stopped.."
"Bardock, I'm so--"
"Sh!" The battered saiyan interjected. "You stopped cuz of an explosion...it must have been a pretty big one to get your attention..."
Broly nodded, and looked back over at the fading dust cloud a few miles away. The explosion itself had not been what had caught the Legendary Super Saiyan's attention; it had been the power behind it. He had sensed Frieza, Cell, Janemba, and many man more from that direction.
"I should check it out...see if I can help." He stated, getting ready to take off.
"I'm...going with...you." Bardock groaned painfully as he slowly stood up from his crater.
"No, Bardock, you're hurt. You should stay and--"
"No way...am I gonna let you have...all the fun..again." The saiyan chuckled. "Besides; you owe me for the beating you just gave me."
* * *
The smoke cleared from the massive indenture in Hell as Tirek observed his work. He had blasted a huge hole into the ground, and it looked as though he had finished off his opponents. He frowned just slightly when he still sensed their power levels in the debris field, however.
"So they are much tougher than they look, it seems." He murmered. "Guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way."
He cracked his massive knuckles and sauntered forward into the impact zone.
Raditz and Sapphic lay wounded and battered behind a crumbled pile of rocks. The ground shook with every huge hoofstep Tirek made toward them.
"Everything...hurts.." Raditz wheezed out. "Damn it.."
Sapphic had to agree; his entire body ached as if he had died a second time. He knew he was still very much...'alive'...as he was still existing. But he figured that wouldn't be the case for long. The blast had been massive, and the power unbelievable. He'd only ever felt power like this once before...back in his final days....
"Apple Bloom..." Sapphic coughed as he struggled to stand.
Several images flashed through his mind as he muttered the name of the filly who had defeated him over a year ago. She hadn't spared his life, but she had taught him quite a bit. Their small talk in the space between dimensions after his death...her kind words to him...her telling of a better future. It all washed over his broken form as he reached his knees.
"I...I said when I got out of my cell here..." He muttered to no one in particular. "I'd change things...be a better person...just like Apple Bloom...but...if I fall here...I..."
He looked up at the incoming Tirek, who seemed to have spotted him, judging by the smirk on his red face.
"I...can't fall here...Equestria...depends on it...depends on me..stopping Tirek here.."
"Brother, run...go get help!" Raditz urged.
Sapphic finally stood up, staring up at the gargantuan ancient centaur before him. "I...can't lose here.."
"It's a pity you will." Tirek laughed, preparing to smash the changeling hybrid.
Before his fist could come down, the centaur was blown back several feet, tumbling as a huge green blast exploded against him.
Sapphic turned a surprised eye to his would-be savior, and saw Broly standing at the ready; his Legendary Super Saiyan energy rising still. Behind him not very far was Bardock, stadning ready, but looking badly wounded.
"Son, let Broly handle this." He called over tothem.
Sapphic just nodded as he watched the behemoth of a saiyan charge towards Tirek like a rhino bent on goring him. Tirek grabbed Broly's shoulders and tried to push back, but his hooves merely dragged scars into the soil as the monster saiyan continued his charge.
The two smashed through a couple of hills and trampled stones into dust before Broly finally punched the centaur in the chest, sending him reeling.
Tirek coughed, and snarled at the pain. "How dare you?! I will enjoy absorbing all of your power!"
"Shut up and die!" Broly cried out, throwing several Omega Shells at the tyrant. Tirek gobbled the first one, but the other two exploded in his face, causing him to rear back. Taking advantage, the Legendary Super Saiyan decked the giant again, and the centaur fell to his side from the blow.
"He's doing it!" Sapphic exclaimed. "But how did--"
"It doesn't matter, son. He's on our side again, and that's that."
Blooming Talent Tie-In: Righteous End of Hell
Righteous End of Hell Part 1
Explosions rang out through the blood lake area as intense beams of ki energy soared in nearly every direction and trolls and demons were sent fleeing from the scene.
"What's the mater, you welps?" Cell laughed, shooting off another energy blast and blowing a small hut into cinders. "Can't take the heat? I thought you demons liked that sort of thing."
The demented bio-android rose into the air; his spotted green and black body squeaking bit as he did so. His purple eyes scanned over the area, looking for something else to destroy. Being stuck down here so long had given him a great idea for where everything was, and each time they locked him up in a new cell, it was amusing to him to find out how to break free. This last time had really been a toughy; several barriers of magic and strange technology Dr. Gero would have just adored. It took him years to break free of that.
Now that he was free, it was his turn in the constant game of catch-and-release. He intended to cause as much destruction as possible, and then return to Earth and take revenge on the ones who had gotten him stuck here in the first place.
"Oh, Gohan," He laughed, imagining the destruction he would cause upon his arrival. "your father won't save you this time."
Cell started to move forward, but was suddenly knocked back harshly by a fist to his face. The attack did little damage, but managed to startle the bio-mechanical monster for a moment.
"Agh! Who dares to--?!"
"Shut it, Cell." The figure said to him. "I've heard many stories about you. Piccolo said you were one tough enemy."
"Piccolo? You know Piccolo?"
As Cell looked to see who it was that had stopped him, he had no more answers than he did questions still. He did not recognize the strange biped with the black exoskeleton and long dark green hair. The emerald eyes of the stranger were confident though, and Cell sensed an immense power within him.
"Let's just say was acquainted with him at one point in time." The biped said, flicking his clear wings rapidly. "I'm Sapphic; enforcer of Hell."
"Sapphic, eh?" Cell laughed. "Enforcer of Hell? So you've come to stop me? How cute. Well, come on then, show me what you've got. I'll even let you have the first shot."
He emphasized this by tapping his chest with one of his fingers as if telling Sapphic just where to aim.
Sapphic smiled; his sharp teeth gleaming in the orange light of Hell's skyline. Cell's overconfidence was what got him down here from what the stories had said, and now the same would be true for his recapture. "You asked for it."
Sapphic raised his palm into the air above him, and started to charge up some energy. He kept the level low so Cell wouldn't freak and run away causing him to have to give chase again. As an extra showing, he pretended that he task was stressing his undying body, and made a big show of grunting and sweating a little bit.
Cell started to laugh at the amount of energy Sapphic had so far put forth; he chortled so much that he nearly tumbled backwards in the sky.
"This is your power?" HE breathed through gasps of attempting to control himself. "That's it? Hahaha! Foolish boy, you'll need much more then that puny energy ball to stop me!"
The bio-android continued to revel in his laughter, and Sapphic smirked. With Cell distracted, he poured a massive amount of energy into the attack, and without further adieu, tossed it straight at him.
Cell sensed the energy too late, let out a surprised shout as the energy sphere engulfed him and exploded violently. The shockwaves trembled the sky, and even shattered a few spike trees on the outskirts of the blood lake.
After the smoke cleared, Cell fell like a sack of flour back to the ground, and hit with a loud thump.
"Another one bites the dust...literally." He chuckled as he descended. "He's all yours, guys. I'd lock him up in a different level of Hell this time."
As the remaining demons and trolls gathered up Cell's unconscious body, Sapphic began to stride away with confidence. That had been almost too easy, and he didn't even have to tap into his full power. Some of the inmates here were just far too weak to really even be considered a threat. Maybe if they all escaped at once there would be a problem, but one on ones were too easy.
"Maybe I should start a prison riot just to get a workout." He joked to himself as he placed his hands behind his head.
"Right. Because that's a great idea, son." A gruff voice said sarcastically from behind him.
Sapphic turned around with a questioning grunt, and laid his eyes on a saiyan wearing blue and white battle armor with green shoulder straps and waist flaps; the man's tail was wrapped around his waist like a belt, and his red headband was wrapped just as tightly around his head. The scar on his cheek made him distinguishable from a certain other saiyan Sapphic knew.
"I was only joking, father." Sapphic smiled at him. "It's just that sometimes being the bounty hunter of Hell gets a little...boring?"
"Boring is good." Bardock replied crossing his arms over his chest and walking towards Sapphic. "Boring means that no one down here can escape to up there and cause havoc and general chaos. We like when things are boring down here."
"How can you say that?" The changeling biped said. "You're a saiyan, surely you thirst for a good challenge?"
"What I thirst for doesn't matter. Our job as Hell's enforcers is to make sure every one of the inmates stays in their place until they are either reformed, or finally locked in a cell they cannot escape from; not to cause problems just to have fun."
Sapphic humphed and looked away from his father. "I bet Raditz would be up for the challenge."
"Maybe so, but Raditz knows his place here as well." Bardock simply stated. "We are the police down here, not freelancers; if we go starting trouble just to ease our boredom we'll be finding ourselves in cells of our own. I'm sure you remember your time in yours when you first arrived."
Sapphic cringed at the mere memory; the place they'd thrown him into when he first came to Hell had been nightmare. No, worse....there were no words to truly describe what terrors he had faced inside that confinement. It was something he wished never to even have to think about again.
"You've made your point, father." He said finally.
"Good." The saiyan replied with finality. "Now, your mother is back home, and she has a special treat for us for dinner. How about you see if she needs something. I'll stay here and help with clean up."
The changeling prince rolled his eyes slightly at being told to do something one would normally tell a small child who was in the way; but he was curious to see what delectable dish his mother had for supper so he bit his tongue, and took off towards his family's hut on the east side of the blood lakes area.
Bardock watched his third son soar off and sighed to himself. His family tree was so far beyond messed up it wasn't even funny anymore. He focused his mind back on business and began to coordinate with the trolls in charge of the clean-up crew.
* * *
"Mother!" Sapphic called through the average sized dwelling as he entered. "Are you in here?"
"In the kitchen, darling." The warbling voice of his mother called back.
Sapphic walked into the room she had specified, and saw her standing there before he stove; her green magical aura surrounding many different items all at once as she finished off what was to be the evening's meal. Her large clear wings buzzed every few seconds, and her long green hair was tied back so as not to catch the flame from the cooking appliance. Her four exoskeleton laden hooves clip-clopped on the stone floor of the abode as she moved in place.
Queen Chrysalis had ever been used to housework like a common wife, but since coming to Hell, she had found that once she reunited with Bardock (who's original wife, she discovered, had not been sent down here), she had found she rather enjoyed being a simple mare. Being a queen of a multitude of shape-shifters was tiring, and now she was fairly stress-free in her new afterlife. She thought the halo that constantly floated above her head looked pretty good on her as well, even if the color was drastically different from her body's.
"Did everything go ok today, Sapphic?" She asked him as he sat down at the dinner table.
"It went great, as usual. I finally got to see Cell; kind of over-hyped if you ask me. I don' know why everybody talks about him so highly. He spends all his time undoing his prison of the year rather than training and getting stronger. I'm sure he was a threat once, but he's way too cocky, even by my standards."
"You're one to talk, son." She laughed, giving him a playful smirk.
"Mooooom..." Sapphic groaned. "I'm not THAT overconfident."
Chrysalis levitated the food onto the eating surface and continued to converse with her son; the aroma from her hard work was quite enticing if she did say so herself.
"All I'm saying is you have a tendency to get too complacent. One of these days someones gonna beak out that you may not be able to handle."
Sapphic scoffed. "I doubt that, mother. And even if someone does come along like that, father, Raditz, and Broly have my back. If an inmate by some miracle gets through me, they won't get through them."
He inhaled deeply as his plate was set before him. He remembered his father had said Chrysalis was cooking something special tonight.
"So, what's this? It smells delicious."
Chrysalis gave a little smirk. "Well, I did a little talking with King Yemma through his messengers, and I managed to get one piece of fruit from his private tree, and I cut it up and put it into this batch of hellhound."
"No way!" Sapphic exclaimed with a huge grin. "Yemma's fruit? This is gonna be great! And filling!"
* * *
"Alright, looks like everything is back in order." Bardock stated to his son and partner as they finished the restoration of another of Cell's prisons.
Raditz and Broly nodded, and followed the saiyan warrior out of the place. Broly had been reformed a long time ago, and he was now a good friend and partner to Bardock in keeping Hell's inmates in check. The lanky saiyan had no problems forming bonds with the other reformed dead, but the demon psychologists couldn't figure out one thing; Broly still had a very negative reaction to a certain word, or rather a certain name. But here would be no problem, so long as no one said it around him. Raditz had once let the name slip, and it had taken a lot just to calm Broly down and get him to stop destroying things as a Super Saiyan. That had been before Sapphic's time down here, and Bardock hoped his youngest son wouldn't have to see what Broly was capable of.
The saiyan in the blood-stained headband stopped and turned to look at the two behind him.
"Broly, I'm gonna take Raditz home with me s we don't miss supper. Would you be ok making sure all of the cells are secure tonight?" He asked of the tall saiyan.
Broly nodded in affirmation. "It...shouldn't be a problem, Bardock. Enjoy your dinner."
"Thanks. Take care."
"See you around, slim." Raditz called back as he flew after his father towards their home.
Broly watched them fly away before turning to go down the long list of prisoners he was going to have to check on. He read down the list; King Piccolo, King Sombra, Frieza, King Cold...there were a lot of kings; Cell, Lord Slug, Janemba, Babidi...the list went on and on; some names Broly recognized, and some he didn't care about. His father Paragus was even on the list.
He continued on down the line, and so far everyone was still tightly secured. There was only on cell area left to check, and it was one of the higher security ones.
"So the last one on the list is...Lord Tirek..."

Chrysalis watched with a silly grin as she watched her family absolutely devour the food she had made. The two saiyans and the half-saiyan were scarfing down food like there wouldn't be anymore for another 100 years or something; it was quite humorous to see, and at the same time, a little sickening to a smaller stomach thinking of how much food was sitting in these guys' bellies.
The former queen of the changelings had thought maybe King Yemma's fruit would be enough for them; afterall, the fruit could keep a man (or woman) full for weeks after just a bite. She should have expected it wouldn't satisfy her big hungry men, though.
She chortled a bit at this thought; she never one thought that one of her "victims" would later become a permanent family member, nor did she expect it to go so well. Oh yes, there were rough spots at first, but after years of being down here, they'd finally put most of their grudges aside and became a unit. When Sapphic had joined them, it had delighted her so much that her baby was going to finally meet his father.
She was very thankful that the two could at least co-exist.
"Step-mother," Raditz said, bits of food falling from his full mouth as he spoke. "is there anymore of this dish left?"
"Sorry, Raditz," She informed him in her warbling voice. "but you boys ate the last of it just now."
Bardock put his bowl down for the last time with a hard thump as he sighed in satisfaction. "That was a great meal, Chrysalis. Thank you."
The changeling mare nodded and started to levitate the dirty kitchenware into the sink to clean. Sapphic leaned back in his chair and burped appreciatively; his breath smelling up the room for a moment.
"Sapphic, you imbecile; that's disgust--" Raditz's sentence was cut off by a rather loud belch of his own. "Ahem...nevemind."
"Boys, settle down." Bardock commanded standing purposefully up by the table. "I think we all know which one of us makes the loudest ones."
He inhaled and let loose a huge burp that lingered in the air for a good few minutes and patted his chest with his fist afterwards with a goofy grin. Raditz and Sapphic held their noses and made grossed out noises, trying not to inhale the odor.
After a short burst of laughter form the trio, Sapphic finally spoke up something that didn't relate to burps.
"Father..." He started.
"Hm?" Bardock grunted, turning his attention to his youngest son.
"You didn't really think I was going to start a riot here, did you?" HE asked him, still a little put off by the grumpy display earlier.
Bardock sighed a bit before answering. "I didn't think you would, no. But to even consider something like that isn't something I want to do. You know how powerful all the inmates here are. Tyrants from Frieza, who killed almost our entire race in a single move, and guys that I hadn't even considered existing before I ended up down here; like that King Sombra guy...he has a power level that sends chills down my spine just walking by his cell."
Sapphic nodded and shifted in his seat as his father continued; the sound of Chrysalis washing dishes in the background a welcome buffer to the awkward silences.
"If enough of those guys were freed before becoming reformed, I can't imagine that even you could stop them with all of us helping you." Bardock said. "You'd get your non-boring fight, alright, but you'd also have no chance of winning."
"He might not have a chance, but I wouldn't back down from the challenge." Raditz said in a cocky gesture.
"It's no about strength, Raditz, it's all about strategy. You could be the weakest guy in the entire world and beat everyone else if you planned it out enough. I'm sure a lot of the inmates could come to some mutual agreement long enough to destroy our bodies and then wreak havoc however else they please." Bardock told his oldest son.
"Besides," He continued, walking around to embrace each of them by the neck with his inner elbows. "both of you are plenty strong, and even though you don't always get along, you work amazingly together. I've seen it. Just don't underestimate opponents capabilities too much, or it could lead to a hard fall; we're warriors, not neanderthals. Let's just hope the day never comes where something like a Hell-wide riot takes place."
The father and his sons smiled at one another as Bardock placed his hands atop both their heads, ruffling their hair up.
"...But I'm still stronger than you, baby brother!" Raditz laughed, pointing at Sapphic with a grin.
"You wanna bet?!" Sapphic shouted back. "That's not what Nappa said!"
"What does Nappa know?!"
"He knows you!"
"He only knows my name! Maybe I'll go visit him after I beat you up!"
"Is that a challenge?!"
"If the scouter numbers match!"
"Well let's take this outside and see who really is stronger then!"
"You're on!"
The two children of Bardock took off to go out to the front of their home and try to beat the snot out of each other; Bardock himself only laughed as he watched them go.
"They're rambunctious." HE said, crossing his arms.
"Well, they are your children." Chrysalis teased.
"Hey now..." The saiyan warrior played offended.

Broly patted the three headed Cerberus on each of his heads as he walked by to see the high security prisoner that he needed to check on. From the place he was at at the moment, he saw the cell still looked shut, and that Tirek was still sulking inside; but he still needed to see if the cage's infrastructure was in working condition so the villain couldn't escape at the first chance.
The red and black centaur turned his head to see the tall and lanky saiyan approach him. Turning his boney body to face him, Tirek smirked.
"Broly." He started in a casual yet dangerous tone. "So nice to see you. How has life on the outside been treating you?"
"It has treated me fairly." The saiyan said dully as he checked over the bars; it was silly to him to lock someone as dangerous as Tirek in a simple iron cage, but considering he lacked much physical strength, he supposed it made sense.
"Fairly? That's a bit of a neutral way of saying it." Tirek replied, keeping his tone conversational.
"Hm." Was all Broly said in response.
Tirek's yellow eyes followed him around the cage as he inspected each bar individually. "I think I know why you seem so stone-faced about it. You're dissatisfied."
"What would I have to be dissatisfied about?"
"Why, dear saiyan, the fact that the so-called friends you have make you suppress your full power as if they want to keep you under thumb." The centaur grinned. "I've heard stories about it; how you can destroy entire planets with but a fraction of your power; how you're durability far exceeds most other beings of the mortal plane."
Broly stopped to shoot a look at the evil centaur. "Then you also know why I am not upset about them making me suppress it; it's too dangerous, and could be disasterous if unleashed again."
"Of course, of course; but it burns you that everyone around you can fight at full power while you know that you cannot. Watching all those who you would normally smash beneath your boot pass you up and claim to be stronger. It has to be infuriating."
The saiyan was starting to get tired of this old creature's words; he knew Tirek was a master of the art of silver tongue, and that he could manipulate anybody who would be gullible enough to believe him.
"Whatever your plan is, Tirek, it will not work. Your words cannot reach me and they will not break me." He said, starting to walk away, having finished his inspection of Hell's only living inmate.
"But the cries of the one called Kakarot did, hm?"
Broly stopped as if he'd frozen in place, his eyes widening and sweat beginning to bead his forehead. He turned his head slowly to look at the centaur.
"What...did you..say?"
Tirek chuckled. "You say words can't break you, and yet one simple name from your past is enough to get your blood boiling. It's funny, really."
"You will cease talking now, Tirek!" The saiyan commanded, turning and pointing dangerously at him through the bars of the cell.
"Why? Because I speak the truth? I know you better than you may even know yourself because you deny who you truly are; who Kakarot made you to be."
Broly yelled, and grasped his head. He took a few stumbling steps backwards as his ki began to rise and the stones from the holding area began to crack. Cerberus started to whimper, and slowly backed out of the massive room.
"No need to hold back any longer, Broly." Tirek continued to badger. "All of that power deep inside you, and you can't even use it because of the trauma you suffered from Kakarot's incessant cries as a child; his constant disturbing of your sleep and mind. And it was that same saiyan Kakarot who put you here in Hell where you are still unable to use it all! All because of the one named..."
"SHUT UP!" Broly screamed, his Super Saiyan power bursting forth transforming his black hair into a spikey golden variation of itself and his eyes a deep blue-green.
"...Kakarot..." Tirek snickered.
Broly let loose ki blast that engulfed the entire cage in which Tirek was held; the metal bars disintegrated instantly, and the centaur himself was tossed back by the force of the blast, a little bit of his fur and beard smoking. As he landed on the stone floor of his holding area, he played dead, watching the Super Saiyan through his magic.
Broly grunted and shouted whilst holding his head, trying to stop his ever rising power from goingup anymore, but it was no use.
"No...I must...contain it..I musn't...remember...uh...remember...."
His last bits of sanity were worn away, as the legendary power he had held dormant for so long exploded like a volcano inside him.
"KAKAROT!!"
The name was drawn out as the entire complex shook from foundation to ceiling as large waves of green energy began to seemingly be absorbed into the screaming Super Saiyan. After a few moments of this, Broly screamed again, and thrust his chest forward as his body began to grow to unthinkable sizes for a humanoid, as did his insane power, which kept rising and rising with every passing second. With one final shout, a massive shockwave of energy burst from his being, exploding several devices and crumbling most of the complex apart.
Alarms went off and sirens wailed as the gigantic and musclebound Broly stood; the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan unleashed once more.
Broly took off through the roof, still shouting the name that had caused him so much suffering, even now....
"KAKAROT!"
"Hmhmhm....perfect...my plan is now set into motion." Tirek chortled as he stood back up.

"Too slow, big brother! Try again!" Sapphic taunted as Raditz failed to land a blow on him.
"Stop moving and take it like a man!" Raditz growled back, launching a knee up into the changeling anthro's gut.
Sapphic stopped it with his hand, and flipped overtop of his oldest sibling, thrusting out a palm as he landed and pushing Raditz forwards. The saiyan caught himself, and recovered his footing; he gritted his teeth as he stared down his half-sibling angrily.
"Your fancy feet always did annoy me!" He shouted. "With your woman-like hair, one might mistake you for a ballerina!"
"Hey, you're one to talk, mister porcupine!" Sapphic yelled back, referencing Raditz's extremely abundant and spiky hair that came near to his ankles.
The saiyan went red in the face; whether from embarrassment or anger, Sapphic couldn't tell.
"My hair is rough and dry just as a warrior's is expected to be; not smooth and silky like yours!"
"Not exactly helping your own image with the ladies with that statement."
"Shut-up!"
"Make me!"
The two brothers charged at each other with warcries; fists raised in striking posture.
"BOYS!" The gruff voice of their father interrupted.
Raditz and Sapphic were startled by the unexpected summon of attention, and in their clumsy efforts to stop themselves, they butted heads and slumped down to the ground, groaning in pain.
Bardock walked past them, looking off at something else. The brothers didn't know what he was trying to see at first, but as they turned their eyes to follow their father's gaze, they realized what was catching his attention. A large plume of smoke was rising off in the distance, and explosions could be heard going off in the area. As the sirens reached their ears, Sapphic remembered that the prison level of Hell was in that vicinity.
"What is going on over there?" He asked, getting up off Raditz and joining the both of them to look at the indicator of trouble.
"Those sirens only go off when a complete system failure happens." Bardock told them. "When all the cells open up and the prisoners are let free by complete accident."
Raditz's eyes went wide as he gasped, realizing what his father was saying. "You...you don't mean--?!"
The saiyan in the bloodstained headband nodded. "Sapphic's wish for an interesting challenge came true afterall. It's a prison riot."
Raditz promptly smacked the top of Sapphic's head with the bottom of his fist causing the latter to crouch down and hold it in pain. "You imbecile! Hasn't anyone ever told you be careful what you wish for?!"
"I didn't see any Dragon Balls around, did you?!" Sapphic shot back.
"Well, with your dumb luck, there just might have been!"
"You're saying this is my fault?!"
Bardock turned and shot and angry glare at both of his sons. "Boys! Knock it off and finish your grudge match later! We have a job to do!"
The both of them snapped into attention and nodded their understanding of their father's words. The trio powered up and took off into the sky, headed for the besieged prison sector.
"Strange...Broly is usually here already and flying with us when trouble arises...what could he be doing right now that would keep him from this?" Bardock thought to himself.
As the three warriors got farther away from their home, Chrysalis watched them fly into the horizon, knowing they were headed into danger once more. She knew they all were dead already, but that didn't mean the possibility of never seeing one of them again was null; if a dead person's body was completely destroyed, they would cease to exist in any dimension or reality. They would just...vanish forever.
She shuddered at the thought that the day one of her own might not come back had arrived...

The smoke was thick and choking as it rose ever higher into the sky from the fires and smoldering ashes of the once secure holding complex. Trolls and demons stationed there ducked for cover as beams of energy, weapons, and even other bodies began to fly around all over.
One demon was unlucky enough to dive behind a pillar only to come face to face with a terrifying creature.
Janemba smiled devilishly as he thrust his sword through the demon's mouth and out the back of his throat, pinning him to the pillar like a sick game of pin the tail on the pony. He laughed and dematerialized into blocks, disappearing into the dimension only he could travel to, going to find other prey.
"Father; watch me turn this little whelp into strawberry jelly." Frieza cackled, grabbing the attention of his father, King Cold, as he pointed a finger at a fleeing troll.
The creature exploded violently and loudly, splaying blood and organs all over the walls and ground, making the scene even grislier than it was already.
King Sombra kept to the shadows; his dark matter body using them as conduit from which to transport himself. He materialized inside a group of demons and gave a belly-laugh before lighting his red horn and frying all of them in one move. As soon as the smoke cleared, Sombra had to shift back into the shadows to avoid a Kamehameha wave that had come from above.
The shadow pony looked up to see his oppressor, who was none other than the bio-android, Cell.
"You pest." He said as Sombra hissed at him from the darkness. "You stole my kills!"
"It's not like you could've killed them anyway, Cell!" Frieza's voice called out as he floated down to join the heated exchange. "You're far too weak to really do anything like that."
Cell scowled at the former tyrant. "Please, Frieza; I have your cells inside my body. By calling me weak, you yourself must be weak as well, yes?"
"You have the cells from the old me, fool! I'm a hundred times stronger now than I was before!"
"You are both far weaker than I!" Sombra interjected with several more hisses. "I will swallow both of you like delicious crsytals and prove it."
Frieza whole heartedly laughed at the shadow pony. "This will be a treat to humble you, oh mighty equine of the darkness!"
As the three began to fight with each other, causing more destruction with each attack, King Cold watched form the sidelines.
"That's right, son! Show them who's the strongest in the universe!" He cheered Frieza on.
He was so absorbed in the fight that he didn't even sense the power level creeping up behind him on four hooves, reaching out his boney hands to cover the king's mouth. Tirek yanked King Cold into the shadows, making sure to suppress any of the big guy's screams. He straddled the behemoth and opened his mouth wide; his powers allowing him to suck the very energy that granted King Cold his strength out of him. The king's eyes rolled into the back of his head as Tirek finished absorbing his power and ki, already grown to a much larger size and no longer being stick thin.
"One down..."

Metz ran as fast as his speedy legs cold carry him; his red body covered in sweat as he neared the edge of the battle zone. Just when he thought he was going to make it out alright, the red troll was suddenly startled so hard he jumped back and landed on his rear.
A huge and muscular green being wearing a bandana hulked over him with a malicious grin.
"B-b--Bojack!" Metz stuttered. "You're not still...uh..mad about how I treated ya when ya first arrived here...right?"
Bojack just smirked and gave a quick laugh, raising his hand to incinerate Metz with a ki blast. He never got the chance to fire it as a huge blast of pressure smashed the dead space pirate into the ground, creating a rather large crater and an imprint in the center where Bojack lay, now unconscious.
"Metz!" Bardock's gruff voice called down from above.
The troll looked up to see his saviors. "Oh, Bardock! Thank goodness you and your sons are here! It's more hellish than usual around here!"
Bardock, Sapphic, and Raditz landed swiftly to converse with MEtz; Raditz and Sapphic looking out all the while for incoming threats and escaping inmates.
"What happened here?" Bardock questioned.
"I hate to say this, but it's Broly!"
"What?!"
"Yes! I don't really know what happened, but I could never forget that energy signature! Plus, I saw him fly off into the distance after hispower up damaged the entire complex! All of the prisoners are loose and wreaking absolute havoc, and I have no idea where Broly is going!"
Bardock's fists balled up and he grittedhis teeth in frustration. Only one thing could ever break Broly's calm, an that was the mention of his second son's name; Kakarot. But very few beings actually knew his son by tat name, and fewer still had ever heard it through heresay.
"Do you remember the last prisoner he visited?" Bardock asked hastily.
"I'm sorry, but I don't.." Metz admitted.
"That's fine, we'll figure it out later. Right now, I have to stop Broly. Sapphic! Raidtz!"
The sons of Bardock turned their heads to their father at the summons.
"You two stay here and help round up the prisoners." He instructed. "I'm going to stop Broly."
Raditz's eyes shot open in fear. "Wait, father! You can't! Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan! If you face him, you could die!"
"Don't worry about that, Raditz!" The saiyan in the bloodstained headband commanded, causing Raditz to flinch a bit. "You have a job to do, now do it!"
Sapphic watched as Raditz merely nodded, and looked worriedly at his feet; his own fists balling up as well. Raditz was right, at least from what Sapphic had heard of Broly. He was the super destructive Legendary Super Saiyan, and was said to have amazing powers. He knew his father was strong, but was he strong enough to bat down a planet buster like that?
Before either one could say anything further, Bardock had taken flight and was already headed towards where he figured Broly would be. Sapphic did not take his eyes off the horizon until his father was no longer visible.
"Good luck, you two, but I'm getting out of here!" Metz squealed as he began running again.
The former king of the changelings ignored the troll as he ran past, and was brought back to reality by his half-brother's hand on his shoulder, which gripped him tightly.
"Come on, idiot!" He called out, moving into the prison. "You heard father, let's go!"
"Shouldn't we go help him? It's Broly he's going to be facing!"
"I know it's Broly, but of father says he can handle him, then he can handle him! Now come on!"
* * *
Tirek finished sucking the energy out of Frieza's helpless form as he dropped him on top of Cell's drained body with a dismissive wave of his arm. Just from his first three victims he had already grown to considerable size and strength. These warriors were certainly powerful, but none too bright.
Sombra backed away a bit from the approaching centaur; any shadows that had been there before were not there now due to no structures being left in the area to create them. Without shadows, Sombra wasn't as strong as he could be. He was strong without them yes, but strong enough to take on Lord Tirek; a being as ancient as he himself? No.
"Sombra." Tirek chuckled, still advancing. "I never did learn how you died; must have been a pretty powerful pony to pummel a pompous poltergeist like you. Either that, or you were just never strong to begin with."
"I'm plenty powerful, Tirek." Sombra hissed, trying to sound intimidating. "Much more powerful than those you just absorbed the powers from."
"Is that so?" The large red and black centaur asked sarcastically. "If that's the case, I best absorb your powers and magic as soon as possible."
He advanced on the shadow pony's position like a predator taunting it's prey; it wasnot often that King Sombra felt like the oppressed rather than the oppressor, but this was one of those few times.
The black unicorn fired a beam of raw magic at Tirek, which the big magic eater grabbed with his bare hands and ate is if it were a chocolate treat.
Before he could escape, Tirek grabbed Sombra by the tail and held him up to drain his magic away. The feeling was like dying all over again, but with less pain and more empty feeling. Even an evil king such as himself had something driving him, and Tirek was not only stealing his power, but his will as well.
He dropped Sombra's drained body on top of Frieza and Cell; all three of which grunted in unison, too weak to even stand.
"So many delectable creatures." Tirek darkly chuckled to himself. "I wonder what else is on the menu?"
His ears twitched as he heard something akin to lego bricks forming and clacking together as the one known as Janemba appeared out of nowhere, attempting to slice the centaur's head off. Tirek dodged this attack at the last second, and countered with a punch of his own. Janemba dematerialized to avoid it, and appeared behind the large tyrant.
Tirek felt a sharp pain in his shoulder as the demon sliced a deep gash in it from behind before disappearing once more. Tirek payed attention to the way Janemba ported, and when he heard the clacking sound again, he whipped around and blasted the reassembling creature with a beam of raw power from his mouth, which exploded upon impact with him.
Janemba had not fully formed when the attack hit, ad as a result, was missing his lower half. Before he could disassemble again, Tirek stomped him to the ground under one of his huge, gray hooves and proceeded to steal his power too.
"I've only absorbed these four so far, and yet I already have more power than when I absorbed every bit of magic in Equestria! Amazing!" He laughed loudly, no longer really trying to conceal himself.
He figured he had enough power now, and proceeded to get on with his plan; getting out of Tartarus once more and finally taking final vengeance upon Equestria.
