Blooming Talent Tie-In: The "Bons" of Jealousy
I open my eyes as the bright light of Luna's morning sun finds it's way through my curtains to cast it's rays over my eyelids. I yawn and blink several times before finally managing to roll myself out of bed and onto my hooves; the clop sound they make upon impact with the floor vibrating in my ears for a few seconds.
"Another day, I guess..." I mutter to myself, trotting sluggishly into the bathroom to relieve myself.
After I had done so, and showered and all of that, I made my way into my kitchen; the large room was big enough for many ponies, but had only had to accompany two on a regular basis. Or at least...it HAD accompanied two ponies on a regular basis. Now it only accompanied one...
"Train of thought's gonna get you down again, Bon Bon..." I mutter once again to nopony but myself. "Quit thinking about her, and the pain will go away..."
How in Tartarus was I supposed to not think about her, though? That lovely mint colored unicorn who had once been nopony's but mine; I swear I can smell her aroma right now, though, that might just be the creamer in the coffee.
Things weren't supposed to be this way anymore; it was supposed to change. To go back to how it was before the...the incident.
But thanks to everypony's new heroes of Equestria, that hadn't happened, and I was still in the same place I was before...alone.
"If it wasn't for him..I'd be with her again...it would be just like it was before..."
My anger always tried to place the blame on that purple-haired boy...Trunks, was it? It seemed appropriate when I was flusterred. But honestly, it really isn't his fault that I'm in this situation. If I hadn't been such a...such a pain the rump...Lyra would still be here, in my hooves.
I had planned to make things right after I had found I was revived, but when I went to visit Lyra...HE was there as well.
I guess death had put too big of a speed bump on my plans with her, because the half-saiyan had already won my precious unicorn over...she was infatuated with him, and he with her. I try to tell myself I'm happy for her...but...I'm not.
I'm jealous...furious...hurt. Why did he have to be here? Was fate just doing this to be cruel to me? Faust above, do I really deserve this much pain?
"I guess I already know the answer to that question..." I mumble drearily; once again to nopony but myself.
I finish up my coffee and start to move around a bit more out of boredom then any need to do anything. Not like there was anything else to do anyway. The candy shop hadn't seen much business since the Cake's started selling some of their own brand of sweets along with their pastries. Soon, the shop would go belly up, I figure. Just another thing to add to the list of troubles. Of course, that list was ever expanding, and doing so out of my control. Even little things like weather were starting to get to me, it didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Today was a bright sunny day, but I'd bet nearly my bottom bit that as soon as I need something, the clouds will come over like the second rapture or something. Just my luck it seems.
"I come back to life to have one worse than when I died..." I snort loudly. "Seems legit."
I'm a mess. I can see it; all I ever do anymore is mope around and feel sorry for myself. Lyra would probably scold me for that. But I can't help it...she's gone. She and I had had a powerful something, and now, I guess I'll never know how it could have been; how it could have been once again. And now that Trunks is in the way, I'll never be able to get her back...
"Wait a minute..." I mumble, as my ears perk up in realization.
The Dragon Balls had been able to bring everypony who Sapphic had killed nearly two years ago back to life with relative ease. And I remember they told me it was cuz of a wish; does that mean I can make a wish of my own using the Dragon Balls? It seemed plausible, and I had never heard any information on the contrary.
"Yes!" I breathed harshly, bolting into an upright standing position with one hoof raised in victory. "That's what I'll do! That's how I'll win Lyra's heart back! I just have to wish for Trunks to disappear!"

Trunks sneezed loudly as he sat down next to Lyra on their large sofa.
"Jeez, Trunks, wanna warn me next time?" The mint colored unicorn giggled in mock disgust.
"Sorry, Lyra." He apologized, sniffling a bit. "I didn't even feel it coming."
"Yknow," Lyra said. "they say when you sneeze, it means somepony is thinking about you."
She smiled and fluttered her eyes at the half-saiyan, who blushed and chuckled nervously.
"I-is that so?" HE responded in a sheepish manner. "Well, who would be thinking of me at a time like this?"
The unicorn with the lyre cutie mark scooched closer to her bipedal partner. "I can only think of one pony."
She leaned in to lock her lips with his, and the two embraced tightly; the sounds of the outside world washed away by the intimacy between them. It seemed like nothing would come between them...
