At night the moon shines with daylight. Our dreams are an ocean… each wave is the dream of an individual. The tide is controlled by the pull of the moon… it illuminates our dreams. If you open the moon, you will discover the path to dreams. When one finds death, they are submerged in the ocean of dreams. At the end of life’s path is a door that leads us to this ocean. Our dreams transcend the self to reach this sea… connecting us all within its lunar tide.

Its been years sense I've used it, then again its been years sense I've been human.
Apparently humans can't exist in this world, so humans become something different... something inhuman.
I'm the first, the origin and I'm not the last. I have seen every humans new form as the arrived and I will be one of the first to greet them. Both good and bad.
My name is... was dalton, I was just a regular guy with a dull life and nothing going on.
Then the dream came one night, a dream that would change my life and the lifes of others who were visited by her.
Princess Luna, the goddess of dreams. She found me and the others by our dreams, and now we have a new home a new life. She used the moon to bring us to this new world, a world who we can make a with the power we were given with our new forms.
Some took this well, others..... not so. I'm one of the few who had to fight them, those that became monsters who wanted to hurt others.
Its been 30 years sense I've been here, 30 long happy and sorrow filled years.
Now I will pass my story to those who will listen as I travel around this world. I have traveled all over from ponyville to canterlot to the crystal empire and even the land of Griffins. I've seen demons and angels, monsters and heroes. Yet I know I won't see everything, no one ever does but I can still try after all 'you only live once.' Unless your reborn but no one counts those. I've collected dangerous items of power and hidden them away so they can never be used. I have seen nightmare moon return and discord being defeated, I even saw a new princess become crowned. I have seen a demon defeated by friendship and soon I shall see even more.
My name is Renamon and I'm just another traveler from a distant land that can not be returned too.
And I'm not alone....
And for those who come to this world I welcome you.
I slowly put the ink well away as I looked out the window of the wagon I travel in, the scent of pine trees filled me as I took a deep breath.
My golden fur turned silver with age. I still had many years left, both the princesses had assured me I would reach 100 maybe 150 if I stay out of life threating situations but my luck I'll stumble into another one. Then again I wouldn't have it any other way. I reached over and gently picked up an old photo. It had been a gift from my friends before I left to explore this world. It had both Luna and nightshade, the captain of the night guard and was a bat pony who was my first true friend. I put the picture down and looked at the picture next to it, it was of me and Trixie after we got lost near the crystal empire and found a pack of diamond dogs. The pups grew up to be great traders with the empire.
'Maybe I should visit them soon' I smile. They would 'dog pile' me just like every time I've visited. Then again maybe I should visit Luna, she was planning to bring more people here in her last letter. I just hope it goes better than last time, 3 broken ribs and a fractured leg and I just got a busted nose. I sigh as I see the moon and smile, sure I was brought here without warning but I still have friends and those I consider family.
Who know what awaits me in the future, after all the future isn't set in stone. Would the next dreamer be? Would they be someone who wants a new life of someone who was happy and didn't want to leave? Only time would tell and I can only guess what awaits me.
Now that you know my present you will learn my past. It all started with a dream of a full moon.....

"Princess... what kind of creature is this"
Beep....beep....
"We are unsure twilight, tis not the form we saw when we saw its dream"
Beep...
"How did it get here" beep.... "it was us after we saw a new part of the dream plane and we pulled it here"
Beep... beep... beep...
Where am I? And why can't I see?
"Princess I think its waking up"
Is this a dream? No it feels to real and why do I feel so different.
"Its waking up princess I think it might be dangerous"
Me a danger? That's a laugh.
"Princess, its tail is moving I think its..." beep..beep..beep
Tail?!? I shouldn't have a tail
"I think its having a panic attack, somepony cast a sleep spell"
What is... going..... on....
3 days later
Ugh what happened? Last I remember was something about...a...tail.....
Oh crap that's not good, OK calm breaths. Now my body feels weird, I guess I should try to open my eyes....
Slowly I open my eyes and looked around, it seemed to be a hospital room but smaller. Odd, I wonder why its so small.
OK your awake and you can see your in a hospital room and there's an odd mirror in the room showing a renamon in bed but that doesn't make sense, especially sense it looks life-like and....its moving just like me....
I look down at my hand seeing only 3 furry fingers with claws..... um.... that's unexpected.
With that I pass out from shock.
A few hours later
Well I'm awake....again and I'm not human apparently.... well I guess I went crazy
I guess thats why that dark blue horse with wings and a horn is looking... at..... me.
"Um.... who are you?" I ask nervously
"We are Luna, princess of the night and mistress of dreams"she spoke quite loudly, I think my ears are ringing.
"Ouch" I say quietly as I rub my ears. Her ears fold back "we are sorry, we are still trying to learn to keep a lower tone" she said softly.
"What are thou, we have never seen such a creature" she asked in a curious voice.
"I am... was human but now I'm not.... I've been turned into a creature that doesn't exist and I feel like I'm losing it." I say quietly looking down.
"I always wanted to be different but.... I never expected this" she looks and me with a somber look "we never expect change til it happens, all wecan do is accept it and keep moving towards tomorrow" she says with a smile."and we should say welcome to equestria."
