//-------------------------------------------------------// One Pony Fallen Under -by MysteriousMildew- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// "Well" //-------------------------------------------------------// "Well" As Pinkie Pie awoke her surroundings weren't as clear. She felt a vigorous pain in her lower abdomen, thighs and skull. The first thing she was a monotonous stone brick pattern that seemed to run along the side of the area she was currently inhabiting. She shook in fear noticing that this place in particular was uncharted in her memory, she even doubted that this area would've been in Ponyville even. It was dark, it was very dark. Pinkie looked down at the rest of her body with little affirmation. She tried to adjust to the lack of light in the area and could only see something reflective on her flank and lower thighs. She froze instantly as she felt a miry object below her left hoof. She was uncomfortable, too frail to even get up. She laid helpless in the dark, unaware of the dangers that might have been lurking in the shadows. The object she touched was slippery and sharp. Nopony could have ever picked up something so slippery and dangerously sharp in their life unless they wore anything to prohibit that from happening. Pinkie felt the same but also unsure of herself. She completely forgot that she was in some dark ditch and not in Ponyville where the bright sun always shined on her pearly white smile. She knew she wasn't safe, she was somewhere that was unknown to her like uncharted territory in Equestria. "T-Twilight?" Pinkie Pie groaned as she stared up at the only light source above her, the daylight that couldn't be reached with a one-foot hoof. Pinkie finally realized that everything but her was silent as a fox that would soon feed on it's prey. The only thing Pinkie could hear was the wind from the outside world and the echos she'd made from her previous struggles in the deep ditch she thought she was in. She began to feel the walls carefully and covertly, practically coating herself in grime and moss from the surrounding stone brick walls. "Well.." Pinkie said dejectedly but with a hint of remarkable certainty. "Okay Pinkie you need to think your way through this." She stroked her chin with her right hoof while folding the other on her slouched lap, "First, I need to think about the most basic questions to answer. Where." She placed her left hoof once more on the stone brick wall feeling the texture enough to amount to an intellectual conclusion. This wasn't normal of Pinkie Pie. Considering her low schooling skills and the fact she'd been through hard labor as a little filly anyone would assume she'd simply conjure up another supernatural way of avoiding this situation like witchcraft but for one time in her life, the mare just sat and analysed the dilemma she was presently imposing. "I'm in a... well. I've already figured that out.", she felt her pain again, not an agonizing pain but not a compromising pain either. "My head really hurts!", she began to massage her head until she noticed something else beginning to catch on to her, "There's blood on my legs and there's blood on my head.... but...... why?" Her questions began to puzzle her, she wasn't considering herself to be a part of the problem too but it seemed that she couldn't stop interrogating the problem with her as a suspect. It was too quiet for her to be in a local well. The water seemed too thick to be used by anypony but a dead one... "Cemetery?", she listened intently at the noises from above but to her surprise nothing stirred but the wind. As she began to stand up she quivered anxiously like her legs were numb or lame. She immediately sat slouched on the rough cement pavement and the water splashed into her lungs for about 30 seconds before ascending to the surface where the air wasn't so good, it was fairly dry but enough to survive on. Her mane lurched before her face obstructing her vision. She swiped her hoof over her face swiftly where the sleek long mane flourished her eyesight into hazy disfigurations. She gasped quickly for air and felt her eyes began to sting for a few minutes while later on mucus began to form under her eyelids and nostrils. She was afraid of surviving alone and wondered if anyone would find her. She was alone, cold and afraid. Who wouldn't be in a situation like this? Pinkie began to think of her friends and teared up. Crying made her eyes sting but she didn't care. What anguish had exceeded over her, the thought of not even having a photo of her group of friends tormented her in ways she couldn't comprehend. In fact, she began to forget the faces of her loved ones soon enough making her cry even more. Knowing the terrible fragment of reality that tortured her now, she assumed that pain would last forever and she would die in that pit -- well. She needed to think positive to keep her from breaking down so much she'd dehydrate. Pinkie began to think of those primitive television shows she watched with Fluttershy during a sleepover about ponies who go into the wild and survive on scorpions and mice for food and if they drank the wrong water they'd hallucinate within hours. Usually the ponies in that show would be stuck in a dilemma like Pinkie's but they'd always have something like a rope or a ladder to get them out. Survivor's luck I suppose. Pinkie then thought once more about how they'd survive. It was on television so maybe it was a scammed show but she could never be sure. It seemed realistic but the acting could have been improved. Pinkie chuckled at her thought and then quickly thought of her own personal dilemma at the moment. How would she survive? How would she escape? Where were her friends... And where was she?
