Chapter 61: Puzzles, Puzzles and more Puzzles

After I quickly cleaned myself up after Pink's assault, we decided to take a short break before we would move on to the next room. I was doing my best to heal Twilight's injuries after those creepy hands assaulted her. I fucking hate them. "How does your legs feel?" I asked while using my chakra on her legs.

"A tad better, but they hurt still." She answered with a groan. I sighed in defeat. I need everyone's help to get back up to speed with this mission, or we'll never find Chikyu and know more about the truth.

Spike was leaning against the doorframe to wait for us. I can tell he was eager to move on to find his brother. Can't blame him. He gave a small sigh and lightly kicked one of the urns near him, but it was lighter than he expected as it tumbled.

SMASH!

The loud smash jolted up in shock and looked at him. "Spike!" Twilight snapped.

"Sorry...huh?" The rubble from the urn moved a bit before a small fairy popped out and coughed a bit. "A fairy?" The little creature looked at the dragon curiously before spotting twilight. Knowing she was hurt, the little thing hovered over to her and flew in a circle. We watched as the fairy made twilight glow a bit before it vanished.

"What was that all about?" I asked before looking at the mare's legs and gasped in surprise. "Twi! Your legs are healed!" She looked and realized I was right, she was healed like nothing happened.

"Wh-I can walk again!" she laughed and got up. I was amazed that one little fairy could have such healing abilities. I gave a small smile and chuckle before turning to the others.

"Ok everyone, breaks over! Let's move!" They nodded as we moved to the next room.

We encountered the stone monsters again, but thanks to the fairy, Twilight was fully energized. She took care of this one and fired her magic at them. They crumbled a bit by her beams before levitating two into the air and hurling them at their last two comrades before they shattered into dust.

"Nice work Twi." | commented with a small smile. She ran up and hugged me. I was taken back by this...but, I just smiled a bit and hugged her back. We heard thumping sounds and saw stairs forming not too far from us. "Come on, let's move." We moved on and headed up the stairs to the next door there. Entering, we were in some kind of small tomb. "I don't like the feeling of this guys."

"Neither do I..." Will spoke.

"Stay here, I'm gonna go check it out." I jumped into the small tomb before the covers popped open. I froze as I saw pony corpses resting in peace. I sweated a bit but breathed to calm myself. I mean come on, they can just rise from the dead right? I took notice of one of the tombs and saw a silver key. I ran to it and picked it up and waved it to the group. "I found a key guys!"

The girls smiled and clapped a bit before Daring Gasped. "Behind you!" I sharply turned and gasped and paled. The corpses of the Ponies moved.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" They screeched loudly. We all froze in horror. It felt like my body was paralyzed in terror. Their red eyes glowed as their muzzles were open, showing their yellow bacterial mouths and teeth. I couldn't move at all as they approached me slowly.

"Daniel get out of there!" Will yelled at me.

"I can't move!" I shouted back. The worse took the turn when they snagged me and started biting and snacking on my flesh, all over my arms, shoulders and neck. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream in pain as i felt them trying to rip into my chest.

"DANIEL!" My friends screamed in horror and panic. Pink and Purple quickly dove in and ripped them off me as I fell.

"NO ONE HURTS OUR DONNY!" The sisters bellowed. They tackled the undead and their claws popped out and sharpened. They sliced at them, ripping flesh, tearing muscles and body parts. They even smashed their faces into the wall, shattering their skulls until they fell dead.

"Ehehe...nice...work..." I groaned and my head fell on the ground. I was bleeding and severely wounded with open wounds. Their paws started to glow as they came over and started to heal my wounds. I was feeling better as I looked up at them. "Thanks girls...." I slowly got to my feet but lost balance and fell onto Pink. she purred and kiss me hard and grab my butt. I blushed while the girls were slack jawed to what they witnessed.

I pulled back from the kiss and chuckled sheepishly. "Uh...thanks for that Pink..." I tried to stand but was weak. "Damn...those bastards really did a number on me...I need to rest for a bit."

"Oh you can rest on my pillows cutie.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" she said with a sweet smile. I blinked before Pink picked me up and held me in her paws, pressing me into her large breasts. The mane six from my herd started to fume as their cheeks grew red.

"You girls can rest on my pillows too.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" she purred at them as she wink her eye. They flushed and turned away to avoid eye contact. We exited the tomb room and back into the room we visited. Pink was holding me tightly and pressing me deep into her breasts. I was blushing like an idiot.

"I wanna hold him.~~~~~" Sugar purred with a pout. She jump onto of me and hug me as her tits pressed to me and to Pink's. "Oh Pink, your tits feel warm.~~~~~~~~~" She purred at the hybrid.

"Thanks and they're all Donnys and his lovers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~" Pink purred back.

"Ah-Hem!" The two turned to see the girls with glares. "We have something more priority here than talk about Daniel all day." Twilight spoke.

"Awwwwwwww fine." they let go of me and walk over to the door. I breathed in relief and mouthed 'Thank you' to her. She smiled and nodded as we moved to the door with the lock and chains. I took out the key I found and put it in the hole. It unlocked and the door opened. We entered another...tomb room. Crud.

"Think something might be useful in here?" Will asked as the door closed behind us.

"Maybe so. Places like this might hold something useful." Daring replied as we walked ahead into the room.

Out of the bloom, a boney hand show out of the ground as we jumped back. A large Minotaur skeleton came out of the ground with a large metal spiked club. "Aw great..." Spike groaned.

Emerald spoke up. "Master, allow me to handle this one." The drake looked at his new servant.

"You sure you can handle this Emerald?" he asked.

"Yes master i want to show you how i fight." she said as her tail rub against his cheek. A faint blush spread his cheeks, but he felt confident she can do it.

A grin formed and he nodded. "Then go out there and kick that skeletons ass." Emerald smirked and lunged at the minotaur skull. The skeleton saw her approaching. Yellow eyes glinted as it swung its body, spinning in a circle to smack her across the room. The green dragon weaved to the right and dodged the strike. She swung her body and made a contacting punch to the skull.

The enemy stumbled back a bit, but then swung its club up to strike her. "Time to show my master what I can do."She jumped back and shouted, "Invisibility, ON!" Like that, she vanished like a chameleon in plain sight.

"Whoa!" Spike gasped in shock that Emerald can vanish like that. The skeleton looked around to find her but was hit by invisible attacks. Bones shattered and teeth blasted. Emerald gave a cry and struck the skeleton and it blasted to pieces. "Awesome work Emerald!" She re-appeared in front of him with a grin and kissed his cheek.

"That was incredible, Emerald." I smiled. "Where did you learn to use invisibility?"

"Oh i learn that from Pink." she said happily. I turned to pink in surprise.

"How can you know about Mental? So far, only Mentaru, Spike and I know about the psychic ability." I asked in shock.

"I have my ways cutie." she wink at me. We soon heard more tombs opening and three more of the minotaur skeletons came out of their sleeping places and lumbered to us.

"Ok Sister then show them how we do stuff.~~" the two...started to grow and their claws and teeth sharpened. They released low growls before lunging at the skeletons. They had no speed to react as they tackled them to the ground. It was..brutal to say the least. Their claws cracked their bones and they bit down hard on their skulls, shattering them into dust. the two then look over at us when they finished off the skeletons under just a minute.

"Uh... Pink... Purple?" I asked in worry as we backed up. They grow and started to move toward us. "Girls, calm down, it's ok..." I spoke calmly, but fell on deaf ears. They snarled and roared at us and I tripped and fell. Two carrots from my food bag fell out and rolled to my feet. The two look at the carrots and squeal as they started to shrink in size into adorable bunnies as started to eat the carrots cutely.

I blinked before I realized they were also bunny hybrids as well. I chuckled and gently cupped them in my arms and stroked their ears. They chittered and nuzzled against me with chubby cheeks as they ate their carrots. They then lick my face as they purred against me. I chuckled and cuddled them for a moment before they returned to normal after they finished their carrots. "You two ok?" I asked the sisters.

"Yes and sorry about that our instinctual side came out." Pink explained.

"It was like you two were gonna kill us." I chuckled, stroking their ears. They purred at this...i then saw the other girls and they were MAD at me. I coughed and cleared my throat as we got up. "Right...good job taking care of the skeletons." they giggled and nodded.

"Good work Emerald." Spike commented on his servant. She hugged spike tightly.

"Thank you master." the room rumbled again and stairs formed at a new floor...with a red and gold spiked chest.

"What's in there?" We went up the stairs and I opened the chest and dug out what I found. They were three shields. One Black, one Purple and one Green. They had a metal reflection on them.

"Wow, awesome shields!" Spike grinned in glee.

"I heard that one of our people made these shields but lost them a while ago when the temple was sealed." Purple explained.

"Guess we'll have to use them." I spoke and handed Will the green shield and Spike the purple one, while I kept the black one to myself.

"Now...how do we get out of here?" Twilight asked. Part of the ceiling opened and another light shined. I noticed the symbols of the sun and moon on the top of the sealed door and to my new shield. I looked at my reflection before a bulb popped.

"That's it!" I ran under the light as the reflection of the shield shined. I positioned it as it hit the symbol. Immediately, the symbol turned into a sun and the room lit up warmer and the door was unsealed as the iron bars pulled back up.

"Alright!" Will cheered. "Nice job Daniel!" I chuckled as we exited the room. We backtracked to the room with the purple smoke and monk statue. We found all the rooms and now this is where we need to move forward.

"Now how do we get passed this section?" Emerald asked.

"Look." I pointed to the eyes of the monk. "We shine the light at the symbols and we might open the path to the next room." Purple and Pink conjured mirrors and reflected the light at them. They shined as the fog started to move away...but it wasn't enough. I spotted three more symbols. One of the chest and one on each arm. "Boys, the shields!" Will and Spike nodded and aimed their shields at the arm symbols as I aimed at the one on the chest. Like that, the statue lit up and the room was more lighter than before. The smoke cleared and a stairwell downstairs opened up to the next door we needed to go through

"Nice! Now we can pass through to the next area!" Spike cheered. We placed our mirrors and shields away and went down. Entering, we were seeing a bridge with the purple fog below, but now there were two skulls that had the smoke covering them as they floated around.

"Stay on your toes." i warned. We got to the bridge and was worried. The skulls had advantage but we were still strong. I did some hand signs and shouted. "Lightning Style: Lightning claw!" I shot lightning from my hands and blasted the skulls....but to our shock, they were fine.

The skulls saw us and chanted, "Flesh! Flesh! Flesh!" The started flying to us.

I panicked and did more hand signs. "Wind style: Gale Palm!" I clapped my hands and a gust of wind blasted out and the smoke faded from them as the skulls fell to the bottom of the pit and shattered into pieces.

"Huh...guess those type of skulls are weak to wind..." Spike spoke. We made sure to keep a note of that.

"That good to hear!" Applejack said as she kick one. The skull fell off the shattered to the ground. We finally passed the bridge and was blocked by another boulder.

"Blocked." Will groaned.

"Wait, look at this." Spike saw the dova language inscripted on the wall with a hand print.

"What does it say?" Twilight asked.

Spike looked closer at the wording and spoke in the dova language. "Kren faal Gol ko hin hil, rahn zeim hin gor voth lot ahkrin, ahrk hi fen yah fos hi flogah nol utan."

"Shatter the Earth in your heart, pass through your tests with great courage, and you will seek what you fine from afar." | translated. | approached and looked at the handprint. My own hand moved up and gently pressed against it. In response, the stone glowed yellow before it started cracking and it shattered in pieces, showing a new door that was hidden.

"I never knew there was a door here." Purple spoke in surprise.

"Neither did I. I think we might be getting closer to the monsters room." Pink spoke.

"Well, either way, we better keep moving. We're getting close." I informed. They all nodded in agreement as we entered the next room. The room was pretty large and had two large mirrors on each side. Some statues here and there....and two undead corpses lying near the cube stones. "Great, more dead's to kill." | ran forward and took my sword out and slashed one before it could wake up and screech. I slashed and hacked it down before I jumped back and it died. The light above me shined before it reflected off my shield, hitting the other as it started freaking out. I took note of this and thought. "Undead are vulnerable to light!"I moved my shield to get a better hit as it spammed. "Will!"

"Right!" My friend charged and kicked it in the face, knocking it back. He pulled his sword out and swung his body, doing a horizontal slash, cutting its head off when it fell and died. He breathed in relief as he sheathed his blade away.

"Nice reflexes." I grinned, punching his shoulder playfully.

He chuckled sheepishly while rubbing his neck. "Well, I did learn from the best teacher in Equestria." I chuckled and nodded as we looked around. The map showed there were three doors. One in front of us and one on each side. The one in front was locked with a lock, the one on the left was blocked by a statue and the third....it was unlocked.

"I guess our next stop is in there." I spoke as we headed for the door. Entering the next room, we saw more of that fog...and those arms on the ground. Twilight yelped and hid behind me, shaking a little in fear by what they did to her that one time.

"D-d-d-do we really have to be in here?" She asked in a stutter of fear.

"Maybe so." I nodded.

"Look, there's a chest over there!" daring pointed out as we saw another wooden chest at the end of the room. It was close, yet so far. With these arm things in the ground and this smoke cutting off chances to fight, this will be trouble.

"Hmmm..." I heard spike hum as he was pondering.

"What is it Spike?" I asked.

"What if we try getting rid of the smoke so we have a better chance to getting the key?" He thought up.

"That's basically impossible. By how thick the fog is, it'll just respawn for....a.....bit..." That was when it hit me. When I used Gale Palm on the smoky skull...brightened up a smile. "Spike you're a genius!"

"Huh?"

"Rainbow Come here." She walked over to me. "I have an idea. I'm going to use my Gale Palm Jutsu to blow the smoke away to make a path for you. Once I do, fly as fast as you can to the other side and get what's in the chest."

"But what if it closes up?" She asked.

"I'll use my jutsu again to make another path." she thought for a moment and then grinned.

"Let's do it." We turned to the area as I breathed.

"Here goes!" I did my hand signs and cried. "Wind Style: Gale Palm!" I slapped my hands the hardest i could. The shockwave of wind blasted the room, and wiped out all the smoke. "Wow..." I breathed before shaking my head. "Go Rainbow go!" She zipped across the room and opened the chest and grabbed what was in there before flying back to us. The room lit up in warm light. "Nice job dash. What was in there?"

"This." She held out...another key.

"This must be for the door from outside to the other room." Daring said. We finished what we got and returned to the room from before. We went to the edge side and using my earth, created a stairwell and unlocked the door. We entered the room and saw nothing, but skulls, jars and statues.

"Did we hit a dead end?" Emerald asked.

"No this should take us on the right path...but I think we're missing something..." Spike informed. I took notice of a screen window. Looking, I saw a large mirror on the other side.

"Wait...l understand now!" I stated. "We have to go back and enter the other room. What we need will take us to the room on the other side. Everyone grew curious to my statement, but we left and returned to the room. I stood under the light, facing the door from the opposite end of the door we came through and used my shield, showing a beam of light out. "Spike, use your shield and bounce it off to the statue to my right."

Spike looked at the statue by the other side that was blocking a door and realized what I mean. He moved in front of me and using his shield to reflect the light off and hitting the statue, shattering it and revealing another door.

"Wow!" Spike said in surprise.

"Let's move!" I spoke and ran for the door. We entered the room and saw a long path to another side, but there was the smoke again and the hands. I shook my head and did some hand signs. "Wind style: Gale Palm!" Clapping my hands, the smoke blasted away from us and we ran quickly. Me, Will and Spike slashed at the hands that tempt to grab the girls or us and made it to the other side. Upon reaching the other side, there was another wooden stump. Nodding to spike, we used our power and made a boulder hover and smash it down, revealing a light shining from the top of us.

"Now what?" Fluttershy asked.

"Now we do this." I walked to the large mirror and tried to push it. "Nnnnnnngh...A little help please?" I asked as I tried to push the mirror as hard as I could. AJ, Pink and Purple pushed with me and got the mirror in place as it shined into the room they were just in. "Whew, good thing you ladies have such strength. Thanks." AJ nodded with a smile in reply. Pink and Purple bent down and gave me a kiss on the cheek at once. I blush like an idiot but smiled at them as they hugged me motherly.

After we took care of the situation in the room, we re-entered the room from before. What was different was that some of the skulls were floating in fire and those stone monsters were there again.

"Ah can handle these guys." AJ spoke as she charged and slammed her foot to one of the stone monsters. It growled in pain and rose an axe to her, but was knocked out of its hand when Rainbow landed behind her.

"Don't think you can hog all the fun." She smirked. AJ grinned as they stood back to back, as the skulls laughed and floated to them.

"Flesh! Flesh! Flesh!" rainbow flapped her wings and the flames went out on them. AJ jumped and slammed her feet on the skulls, shattering them. One of the stone monsters ran up to AJ to kill her before Confetti, balloons and streamers blasted it back. They turned to see Pinkie with her Party cannon.

"Where did that come from?" Pink asked in surprise.

"It's my party cannon. I never leave home without it." Pinkie chirped and pressed the button again blasting more party stuff at the stone monsters.

"Really? shouldn't a cannon fire cannon balls?" Purple asked. Pinkie giggled and pushed the button again and a ball of confetti and streamers blasted out, hitting the stone monster back and it shattered into pieces. The monster itself was rubble now.

"COOL!" the two sisters said in awe

"How can harmless streamers and confetti do that much damage?" daring asked in shock.

"Best you don't know," Twilight informed. "Trust me, I tried to predict Pinkie and her unknown nature, but it was a headache, just roll with it."

"Oh we wanted to see the look on your face." Pink and her sister said to twi. The lavender unicorn groaned and facepalmed.

After the last of the enemies were dealt with, nodded to Spike and Will. They nodded and we pulled out our shields. We hit the statues with the light from the mirror across from us as we started shattering the statues down into rubble. Nothing we found until reaching the last one. When it broke down, it showed a door.

"The next door." Spike smiled as we put our shields away. We entered and....

"Seriously? Another tomb room?" I blurted out in annoyance. "Why is that this temple has so many tombs?"

"Not sure myself." Spike replied with a sigh. As we headed in, tombs were already opening...but nothing was in them. I blinked in surprise as I realized nothing was in the tombs...ok, this is easy. We made it through the tombs, thankfully no undeads, and made it to another boulder with the dova language.

"Another stone carving." Will spoke as Spike approached the rock and spoke in the dragon language again.

"Zoor kren hin laas, kren vortii hin meyar fen, ofaal hin ahkrin ahrk hi fen alok."

"Legends shatter your life, break beyond your own will, gain your courage and you will rise." I spoke in translation. I approached and placed my hand on the hand mark and it glowed yellow. Like before, the rock shattered and a door opened up. We all entered and there was more stairs. We walked for around a few minutes and came to a ledge with more stairs. "This temple seriously has a lot tombs and stairs." I spoke.

The girls giggled as we pressed on. We walked down the steps for reaching a large door with a large lock and golden chains. "This must be it." Will spoke.

"But look, the door is locked." Spike pointed out, seeing the lock.

"Looks like we'll need to find the key to the door then," I mentioned. "Let's move."

Some of the girls groaned and stretched. "Darling, must we now? My feet and legs are sore from all the walking and fighting."

"But we're so close. My brother is waiting for me and Daniel." Spike mentioned.

"Spike, I know," Twilight sighed. "But we can't keep going while we're exhausted like this."

I guess she has a point. We're going to need our strength when we face this monster in the room. "...sigh, alright, we'll take a 30 minute break. Eat, drink and rest while you all can." The girls all sighed in relief and sat on the steps near the door to the boss. I sat down myself to take my break as Pink and Purple walked up to me and sat with me. "hey you two. Thanks for helping us get this far."

"You're welcome sweetie." Pink smiled as she hugged me tightly then kiss me on the cheek, she then let go and her sister did the same as they then rest next to me. I was happy they did this for me...they're so friendly and kind.

"Hehe...you know, after they crazy greeting this evening from you both...I'm happy you two are with us, you made my life a whole lot brighter and sweeter." they purred against my neck as they put their paws on my chest feeling my muscles. I gave a soft moan of relaxation and sighed softly as their fingers kneaded my tensed muscles. Their tails coil around my arms as they lick my cheeks. "Haha, that tickles." | chuckled while squirming a bit in their grasps. They lick more as they purred against my body. My hands moved on their own and gently scratched their bunny ears. Their eyes shot open and they moan in pleasure. "Oh, sorry." I apologized.

"No please do that again." Purple cooed. I blinked a few times, but smiled and continued to scratch around their long bunny ears. They purred as their paws moved down my chest. I blinked and blushed and hoped they're not going to where they were going.

"Donny do you want anything?~~~~" Pink purred in my ear.

I flushed by her seductive talk again. "N-No thank you Pink..l-I'm good." I spoke up with a nervous grin.

"You sure i can make anything for you.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" She purred to my ear more. I almost came again as I bit my lip.

"P-Please stop that. I don't another accident in my pants." I whispered.

"As you wish but i can make anything for you Donny." she purred in my ear. I breathed and nodded before I kissed her and Purple on the cheeks.

"Thanks, I'll keep it in mind." i smiled. Purple then came to my ear.

"If you want you can touch our bodies anytime and in anyway." my face went red again as they giggled and snuggled against me.

"Uh...right." i nodded and breathed as I started meditating. Their chest press up against my sides. I kept focus as I breathed in my my nose and out my mouth. I saw their tails play with each other as i chuckled. It was pretty cute.

(Later...)

"Alright everyone! Breaks over! Let's get going!" I announced as I got up. Pink and Purple got up and hugged my arms. The mane six glared at the two while Cadence giggled. Will and Spike gave me sly grins as I rolled my eyes. We headed down further in the stairs and made it to a large door. We entered it and....oh fuck me.

"That's a lot of mirrors." I spoke as we saw dozens of mirrors around. I noticed another statue of the monk with the eyes. I knew it, this is another stupid puzzle. Welp, time to get to work. "Alright ladies and gents! Spread out and let's get these mirrors in place if we want to advance.

They all nodded as we split into teams and got to work. Pink and Purple took care of the lights and destroying walls and statues as me, AJ and Spike pushed some of the statues on our end. Cadence, twi and rarity moved some of them with their magic combined. Fluttershy, Will and Pinkie were moving some of the stuff out of the way for us. Rainbow was in the air, hitting switches that can help us.

(One hour later)

The mirrors were set and the final phase was ready. Pink and Purple shined the two lights at the eyes and the room lit up and the wall below moved and showed another door.

"Nnnngh!" I groaned, cracking my back. "Jesus, that was the biggest pain in the ass I've ever felt."

"At least we got it done." Will chuckled. I nodded with my own chuckle and we entered the next room. Pink and Purple kiss my cheeks as we walk in the door closed on us as we were trapped. One more, there was a stone monster and three fire skulls.

"Pink, Purple, get rid of the stone guy and the skulls please" I spoke softly. They let go of me and ran toward the skulls breaking them with their kicks as they ran towards to stone monster and literally punch them so hard they became ash. I was amazed they were so strong and ended it so fast. I smiled and approached the two.

"Well done ladies." I stroked their ears in reply. they purred and lick my face. I chuckled and the wooden cage opened to a blue chest. I approached it and opened it. I dug inside before pulling out another key. It was gold with two horns on it and a red ruby in the center. "This is it! The key to the boss room!" the group cheered happily as we cheered and left the room.

Things are looking up. It's time to face what lies through that door and get Chikyu back.
