Day 1View OnlineCider sickness.Day 1DAY 1 This day started out like another day I ate my breakfast and drank my morning coffee. It all started when nurse Redheart came running into my office saying that there was a large group of ponies that had some unknown disease. I put on a medical mask and ran into the lobby only to find a dozen ponies coughing and some even throwing up in the nearest trash cans, somehow I knew it was a start of something, something big. I told nurse Redheart to prepare the emergency entrance in the back of the hospital for normal patients since the lobby was already contaminated, after that I told everyone to put their names on a list so I could treat them all after my best abilities. I was lucky enough that the other doctors were here since it is summer most ponies are out taking a break going to the beach and what not. After asking some of the patience I found out that they all had a taste of cider in their mouths with something else like the apples used to make the cider had been bad, was that a clue to solving this disease or was it just some side effect I had to know. Knowing that the only place in Ponyvile that made and sold cider was Sweet apple acres the disease must have originated some where there. But since there was still work to do I decided to go to Sweet apple acres in the morning. So I went back to the lobby to ask the patience if they would agree on giving me some blood and urine samples so I could study them and hopefully find a cure. After going through the samples I took I found nothing at all out of the ordinary, somehow this disease was either a bacteria or a virus since obviously there was no parasite. Still I wanted to keep all the new patience over night so I asked nurse Redheart to find more beads so everypony could sleep, this was the first time in years that this hospital had been overcrowded and I did not like it at all . I went to bed tired after working hard but had a hard time sleeping, I hope tomorrow will have some results.
Day 2View OnlineCider sickness.Day 2DAY 2 With a new „pandemic“(if I dare to say so myself) on our hooves I decided to contact the princesses in Canterlot knowing they probably will have a interest in knowing about this new disease, I just hope it hasn’t reach them or any other town. Walking to Sweet apple acres I noticed everything was the same birds were chirping flowers were blooming and Big Mac was outside about to take Applebloom and her two interesting friends somewhere. As I meet them on my way in I asked if Apple Jack was around and also warned them to be careful of anyone coughing or showing any other sign of sickness. Entering the old but durable house I saw Apple Jack, we sat down in the kitchen to discuss the issue at hand, as we were talking she reminded me of two stallions who came into town a few months ago, realizing that I had missed that fact I asked her if she knew where I could find them. She told me that they had settled down with a factory right outside of Fillydelphia. I packed for a short trip and got a hotel room I just hope I won’t have to stay to long, I also contacted officer Strong and asked nurse Redheart to keep an eye on the situation. I am only going to stay there two days hopefully nothing will happen while I am gone. At the train station I saw a lot of posters for trips to the country side, beaches and a couple on visiting Canterlot but I won’t be going to those places as I have to buy tickets to Fillydelphia. The nice mare at the ticket booth told me that the next train would be here tomorrow morning guess that happens when you go this late to buy tickets guess I have more time to pack. Before leaving I went to see Twilight Sparkle the librarian of the Ponyvile library and the Celestia’s top student if my letter to the princesses had been replied since she had helped me send them and I heard that those two sisters were used to replying there letters quickly. I was disappointed when arriving at the library to hear that my letter had not been replied, but Twilight told me that she would make sure that whatever the princesses would send me would be stored until I would return. After a day of walking around Ponyvile I went home to pack hoping that it would stay the same wile I would be gone.
Day 3View OnlineCider sickness.Day 3I arrived at the Fillydelphia train station today and wen't to the Flim Flam brothers factory. I walked to the lobby of the Flim Flam cider factory and went to the front desc and asked to see the brothers I was a bit surprised when she did not ask which one I wanted to see but instead just called Flim to see if he had a opening in his schedule for me, but I guess he was more into seeing guests than his brother. The receptionist in the lobby told me that Flim could see me tomorrow but I could get a tour of the factory later today, guess a tour would be great since I had some time to kill. Shortly after I spoke with the receptionist a group of ponies led by a tall grey stallion came into the lobby he showed us the factory, the factory was huge it had two orchards just for cider I had never seen so much cider in my life before. After the tour I wen't to see the city I was a bit guilty doing that since almost everypony in Ponyvile had a new incurable illness at least as far as I knew. I could have been trying to find a cure for it in a lab but I didn't want to risk contaminating Fillydelphia it is risky enough for me to be here I could be carrying the disease. Well I did get to shop for some things that are not available in Ponyvile I still hate my self a bit for going shopping in a time of crisis but what else can I do Flim is to busy to see me and I have no idea what Flam is up to since the lady at the desc did not even try to contact him. As I went to sleep a green flame appeared and out of the flame a scroll appeared I knew that Twilight had forwarded that from the princesses. as I read the letter I realized it might be to late the disease had spread half way over Equestria shining armor even had to put a shield over Canterlot and neighboring towns were doing the same. I will continue my research even if it might be to late but I believe there is hope and if I can't finish the research some one else will.
Day 4View OnlineCider sickness.Day 4I woke up thinking how fast this new disease had spread in only 3 days and today was the fourth day I only hope that my friends back in Ponyvile are ok. I wen't back to the Flim Flam cider factory today and went to see Flim in his office on the top floor I was surprised to see that the other office on the floor was empty, I would think that Flam would use that office. After explaining my reason for being here to Flim he told me that he had been afraid of something like this happening ever since he and his brother left Ponyvile, the thing was that when first making "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" test showed a mutation that would happen to the bad apples but the chances of the mutation killing some pony was very slim but possible and with the amount of cider we made with bad apples was so much the chances of at least one barrel to be bad had grown a bit. Before leaving I asked about where Flam was I thought he was running a different factory somewhere else but the second I mentioned Flam to Flim he looked different, he looked sad as he told me a story the story of Flam's death, Flam had started drinking shortly after leaving Ponyvile Flim watched as his brother started drinking more and more until one faithful day he saw a body in front of the factory his brothers body, apparently Flam had jumped from the top floor of the factory to the ground below in his hoof was a letter saying that he was sorry but it did not say what. I went to the train station but I was lucky enough to be the only one taking the train to Ponyvile but the lady in the ticket booth gave me a look as she thought I was crazy for some reason since I should arrive in Ponyvile around noon tomorrow I went to get some dinner in the service cart, I was not surprised to see that nopony was in the service cart but only vending machines. I got some sandwiches and soda for diner and went to sleep straight after.
