Ordered Episode of Prologue: 1
I already have collected every Pony I could get my hands on. I wanted to have every last Pony with me. Just as I felt like liberating the poor Ponies from the packages in which they are stored in, in the shop where you find them sold. I don’t like how these packages look. The package resembles a kind of prison to me. Right or wrong, but it is what I see. Even when you claim they are merely lifeless plastic with no capability to suffer in any way.
This one day, I was browsing the net, just like I did every other day. What I found exited me. Apparently this store sells Ponies as models for self assembling. They include everything required; the Pony, the paint, the brushes and every accessory that the Pony was normally associated with.
After a moment of looking over the choices, I pick Pinkie Pie. Just the model with the minimum accessories. No other items she would never require. These items are for the little girl who was supposedly going to play with the doll, once assembled in any event. I just wanted the Pony.
After I had ticked off the Pony of my choice; Pinkie Pie, I filled my address into the fields for where to send and pay on delivery as the option for payment. Once all necessary fields had been filled in, I had ticked all the I’s and T’s and the form was completed.
“That was easy!” I told myself.
“Wonder if they are actually sending the model as promised, or if it is merely delayed a few days?” I then continued, as if I had been speaking to a daughter who was looking forwards to the gift to arrive a few days later.
The note for me to pick up the package came well within the promised time promised by the site. I picked up the note and walked to the postal office and waited for my turn. Once my number came up, I quietly approached the desk where the postal worker served customers. I merely slipped the note in for her to read.
“Your package arrived late last night!” she responded, slipping in behind the desk and picked up the package and returned.
Thanks!” I responded as I accepted the package.
She pulled out the bill from the top of the package, where it was hidden under the address.
I puled out my wallet and extracted the amount and quietly slipped them in. She counted the notes and turned the table on the desk, thus handing it over to me.
“Here you go!” she merely responded as I hasted out of the office and continued home.
Once I had gotten home I hastily unlocked the door, stepped in and locked the door firmly behind me. From there I walk right up to the little desk in my private office. I think I have just enough space to manage to unpack, or liberate the little model. The beige wrapping slides out of the way easily.
Now I can see several smaller plastic packages. The plastic components for the model of Pinkie Pie, the brushes, the paint, colour by colour in diminutive metal cans, like with model cars or the like. There is the final item, the accessories as well, thankfully.
Maybe I am a bit too eager to start, missing the small details. I had been given the wrong paint, not that it isn’t for Pinkie Pie, which may be why I failed to notice. What I had ordered was the regular paint for a plastic model. What paint I was given is something I will learn, soon enough.
As I am sitting in the chair by the desk, I soon assemble the model. I guess it was as easy as I had hoped. Why shouldn’t it be easy. The label had promised easy assemblage, after all.
Once I had unpacked the paints and the brushes, I open the first can for the clear base coat. Now, that did sound a bit on the pretentious side for model paint for a plastic pony. I know what the base coat idea is from. When I paint my nails, I use a base coat before I apply the coloured polish, followed by a top coat. The same is going with painting cars. I am certainly not painting a car or anything as valuable as to require this. Yet, since it was included, I make the best use of it I can.
Once I had applied the base coat, I paint her in white, before I cover her body with the light Pink that gave her her name in the first place. Once I had painted her, I try my best to paint her eyes. I had to use the petite brush, nothing else could give me the exact details, but I guess I managed pretty well. She does look as if she is actually looking at me, not just straight ahead. Now, that was a bit scary and strange. I guess this is truly Pinkie Pie, after all. She is the Pony known to look at the audience.
All the intricate details are standing out in a manner to let me know exactly where they are. They apparently did not expect me to make her into a work of art. They wanted me to be happy with the looks of her. As it turned out, I can even see her cute little hooves.
Looking closer, it seems as if she is not the little filly, but the mare. I had not considered this detail when I ordered her, but I guess I am more happy to have her as a mare.
Slowly and carefully, I paint the contours of her mark on both right and left flank. Good thing, I like her to look real. Why would the mark only be on one side? This is a common problem with only too many of the toys you could buy in the store, just the one mark, not both. Now I painted the colour of her balloons as well.
Stealing a glance at the instructions of the lacquer, I noticed that they expected me to give her a nice finish with the top coat, which I happily applied.
This is when I painted her tiny little hooves. I found a bright, shiny pink, slightly to the cerise. I also found a clear, glittery glistering somewhat thicker one, I guessed it was intended to give a more living expression to her eyes and such. Just that when I had applied the clear polish to her eyes and lips, I continued to apply a layer on the mound and orchid. I even managed to apply it to the nibbles, Ponies does have these too, just as we Humans do. I guess I found this a bit on the curious sides as I thought back, looking at my doll.
Now her face started to take on an expression even more lifelike, in a manner I could recognize from her character in the show. She is actually looking at me, not just making it feel like it.
After I had applied a second layer of the top coat, I started over, only to realize, the polish only was good enough to cover her mound and orchid on the second run. I hope she wouldn’t mind.
I decided that she was ready. I placed her by the table in my kitchen as I prepared myself a light salad. Then I picked up a tiny Muffin, placing it before her. I just couldn’t bear seeing her just standing there with nothing while I ate.
As I look back, I notice how the Muffin was gone. Since I am alone, there was no chance anyone could have been hiding it from me as a bad joke or prank.
Looking at the only company I have; Pinkie Pie, I noticed how she was clearly licking her lips. Her coat now a vibrant pink. Not mere painted on a plastic doll. She is looking at my salad.
“I take it, you would like to have another Muffin or two?” I inquired.
Now she is jumping up and down in her characteristic manner, leaving the rubbery squeaking little noises she used to make, only smaller and thus quieter due to her diminutive size. I couldn’t help myself, but started to giggle; only making her smile wider.
“Yes, please. I would love a few more Muffins!”she responded.
“I do have a few more Muffins, Pinkie. I will make sure to fix a few of them for you right away!” I responded with a new smile on my face.
I could hear the little squeaky noises from her hooves from the moment I turned around in order to fetch a few more Muffins for her, while I heated them to edible temperature and all the while until I had placed them on the plate before her. Thankfully, these Muffins are not covered in paper, like they commonly are.
“You sure are one hungry little Mare!” I responded; as I saw her picking up the first with her tongue, like she did with a cake in an earlier episode, before she promptly swallowed it in style.
“Thanks, these are delicious. Do you by chance have more?” she responded in a grateful voice, smiling back at me as she had just swallowed the last one, not a trace where it had gone.
Knowing Pinkie Pie, she was quite good at consuming sweets like cakes. I guess these Muffins are as close to a cake as I could get, considering her diminutive size at this time. On the other hoof, she was extremely energetic, most of the time. How much of this was due to the Equestrian magic, I have no idea. Either way, I will let her have her fill of Muffins for now and see how she reacts on the diet over time; first then can I see how she and her body is reacting to the diet and the location.
“If I know you right, Pinkie, you would love to help me out with the baking, right?” I suggested.
“If you need help, baking, I will love to help you!” she stated in absolute certainty.
“That is sure to be exciting enough, for the both of us, Pinkie. I could use some help with the baking. I prefer to give you homemade pastries over the lesser variant from the near store. I prefer to see what goes into anything I eat, or serve any friends of mine!” I pointed out.
I had chosen a wide spread of regular sized Muffins for her to enjoy. Regular size, which is the regular size where I live, and what I consider regular size. Aside from the regular, bland Muffin, I had included chocolate, raisin and several different fruits and berries with whatever seasoning or spices that commonly does go with them in baking, even if these are the choices I prefer over the common norm. What do I care about common norms, and why would I bother caring?
I heated a few, as in about four at the time in the micro oven, commonly expressed as nuking them. I pulled the paper off of each and every Muffin before I placed them on the little plate before her on the table.
As I placed the plate before her, I merely stand still, quit, awaiting her responses on what I had presented her with. She unceremoniously swallowed them, one by one. Apparently, she had no complaints to any of them at this point.
The Muffins may have lasted longer, but I do enjoy watching her swallowing them over just nibbling on the side. Maybe it is merely the fact that it would have taken her way too much time to consume the amount of Pastries to fill her up properly. On the other hoof, it is still fascinating to see her swallow an entire Muffin without as much as batting an eye. I guess this truly is the genuine deal, the actual Pinkie Pie. In a way I feel as if I could have stood here all day, just watching her swallow Muffin after Muffin.
In the end, I would run out of Muffins and edible Pastries. Besides, how many of these could she actually swallow? In the end, she stopped at about a dozen. Maybe just as well. I don’t have enough to pull her through the day, if she had continued to swallow them in this pace. At least, now I could have enough for her super and breakfast, which left me relieved.
For a moment, she just stood there, quiet, motionless, then she started to jump up and down. I could hear more of the strange squeaking noises from her hooves as she bounced.
She stopped all of a sudden and motion towards her flank and pull the blue balloon off of her flank, before pulling it to her mouth and blows it up in a single fluid motion before tying it up.
“Here, I want you to have the balloon!” she exclaimed.
“Thanks!” I responded.
“You are quite welcome!” she expressed her gratitude for the first meal she had.
“I will treasure this balloon forever!” I put forth, and she nodded.
Then she bounced forwards around the table. I could but grin, then the giggle couldn’t be contained. She turned her head towards me and smiles back at me, happy to see she managed to make me smile. This was after all her life’s purpose, such as I understood it. I could be wrong, but I still enjoy to see her smile.
