Donny & Twilight: Galactic Rangers

Twilight Sparkle is rushing through the hallways of Canterlot castle, on the way to the Princesses throne room. "I wonder why Princess Celestia called for me, and only me for this report?" Twilight thinks quickly as she whizzes pass one of the guards who looks like he's going to fall asleep. It's currently around 9:00 in the morning so that's understandable. When Twilight reaches her destination; two Unicorns; in bright golden armour; block her way.

The two Unicorns levitate sharp spears, and crosses them in a "X" shape, both spears have the same white glow surrounding them. "Order of business with the princess?" the brown unicorn on the left side asks. Twilight uses her magic powers to levitate a scroll out of her bag, that's wrapped around her neck.

"Princess Celestia has important business to discuss with me!" Twilight replies rather proud.

"You may enter." both guards say in unison whist parting spears. Twilight enters the throne room without hesitation.

Twilight sees the beautiful Ruler of Equestria sitting on her throne waiting for her most faithful student. "Good morning, Twilight." the Princess of the day greets.

Twilight bows, "Good morning, Princess"

Celestia begins" You must be wondering why I invited you to my throne at this early in the hour?

"Yes, especially since you told me to come alone. What's that about?" Twilight’s curiosity peaked.

"I've been informed that planets on the other side of the universe are being taken over by a half robot half alien known as Gamma." Celestia said bluntly

Twilight gasps "That means that Equestria might be on the list?!" all that the princess does is nods with her eyes shut. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Because.... I need you to venture through space and find the only Man that can stop him, Captain Darkstar!"

"Man?" Twilight questioned the species.

"It'll be very dangerous out there, you have to be prepared to face creatures you, nor have I ever encountered." Celestia shoots a stern look at Twilight.

"I-I-I'll do it! For my friends and Equestria!" Twilight shouts with determination whilst jumping. "When do I leave?"

The Princess smirks "Immediately."

Meanwhile: on the planet Kellos

The Blazing heat of the sun is shining down on the rocky landscape. A young boy is tinkering around with a somewhat poorly put together space ship wipes the beads of sweat off of his head and onto his grey work gloves. "Now....what step is next?" the boy scratches his brown hair before pressing the blue, glowing button on the side of his belt.

"Welcome to the Giga-Tech help-desk! How may we assist you?" the somewhat robotic voice asks.

"Spaceship construction, step 522." he answered. Typing can be heard from the other side of the call.

"Attach the third hose to the engine, and then to your power supply."  He does just that; and making sure he doesn't get any oil on his arm. Hearing the satisfying snap that the hose made when attached was a good sign. The boy dusted off his hands after he closed the hood of the ship; just so he could marvel his own work.

"Finally, I can get off this stupid rock and explore the Galaxy!" He said excitedly. The ship was a steel blue colour, with some random bits of white metal on it....it was all he could afford at the time. Two thrusters are on the back to give the right amount of speed to get out of the atmosphere; the cockpit wind shield covers almost half of the ship so he could get a good view of space.

"Hey, Donny!" a yell called out the mechanic. He turns around to see his two friends, one human male, and a male Oblo (OH-Blow, description of creature in the author's notes)

"Hey, James. Hey Humflan." Donny greeted, trying his hardest not to laugh at the name of his friend.

"Are you still working on the ship? It's been over three years." James said moving his longer black hair out of his eye.

"Without a doubt." Donny replied. "I've got nothing here for me, not even a family."

"I can't imagine what you've been through. So if you leave, remember to come back to visit us." Humflans odd accent made it hard to tell what he's saying, but Donny knew.

"Sure." was all that Donny said. His friends left him to go do their daily retinue; and Donny decided to go get a drink of water.

Back in Equestria

Twilight was standing with her friends looking at her new, jet black starship. "This isn't fair! Why cant we go with you?" Pinkie Pie complains her voice echoed a bit because the girls are in a hanger.

"Princess Celestia says that it's too dangerous for everyone to go; and that the elements of harmony may not be allowed outside of Equestria." Twilight replied whist levetating a suitecase into the ship.

"Do you even know where to look for this "Captain Darkstar?" Applejack asks.

Twilight pulls out some sort of video player from the ship "This has coordinates to a planet on it, as well as a movie explaining Gama's plan." Twilight bid all of her friends farewell, and enters the ship. "Okay..... How do I fly this thing?"

"Auto pilot engaged!" A robotic voice informs. the ship slowly raises up from the ground, generating massive amounts of wind, blowing loose pieces of paper all over the hanger.  Twilight could faintly hear her friends shouting "Goodbye!" and "Take care!" Twilight was tempted to tear up, but she knew that the fate of the galaxy rested in her hooves. The spaceship blasts out of the hanger, faster than even Rainbow dashes "Sonic Rainboom" with that.... Twilight was gone.

Back on planet Kellos!

The dark sky was making the stars so easy to see, the cold wind was able to give anyone chills if not dressed properly; but this didn't bother Donny. Donny was sitting on the perch of the crane, next to his garage where he loves to invent new gadgets for himself. Too bad only one has worked so far. "Tomorrow's the day. The day I finally get my power conductor for my ship." Donny thought to himself whist looking at his ship, It's parked right outside of the garage. A "Power Conductor" is a rod that charges the power supply for the ship. It's the final piece that Donny needed to finish his ship, and make his dreams become a reality.

Donny puts his hands on the back of his head, and lies down; to get a better look at the stars. All of the stars have a white glow surrounding them, except for one star. It seemed to be moving a bit, and has a yellowish glow to it. "Is that a shooting star?" Donny stands up.

Back in space

Twilight's reading one of books that she brought with her called "Spaceship piloting for beginners." she only just started reading the book not too long ago. she's currently reading the chapter "How not to crash a spaceship like a dolt!" Twilight hates the fact that the ship is on auto pilot right now; she's always been a perfectionist. "So... to disable auto pilot, press the green button next to your steering device." she reads aloud. "Okay, I'm ready to fly this puppy on my own!" Twilight quickly hits the button to turn the ships auto pilot off.

"Auto pilot disabled." the computers voice says. Twilight try's to steer the ship upwards a little, but isn't keeping track of how hard she's doing it. the thrusters out at the back begin to flicker a bit, then turn off.

"did I? Just stall the SHIP!?!" Twilight shouts as the ship begins to dip into the atmosphere.

"Yes!" The computer remarks. Twilight is desperately hitting all of the buttons in the ship. After one final push of a yellow button the computer says "G-diffusers disabled." the ship was slowly spinning as it fell down to the planet below. Twilight then began to scream at the top of her lungs

planet Kellos

Donny's squinting his eyes trying to make out the bright light heading towards him. "The hell is it." Once Donny discovered that it's a flaming space ship heading towards his way, he says "Well..... I'm Boned." and begins running away from the ship. The ship is flying in a way that It'll miss Donny and his garage, but just for safe measurer; Donny dives onto the crane and whist shouting "SHIT!"

he looks forward from his position to see that the ship crashed further away than expected, "Uh Oh..." Donny thought whist standing up. He begins to climb the ladder down from the crane to check the crash site.
