The World Changes
Shining Armor has fallen and Cadance is left to pick up the pieces as the threat of Sombra looms over her head. Forces beyond Cadance's control will save her husband, but it will come at a cost. (A Gundam 00 crossover)
King Sombra has returned from the dead and seeks to reclaim the Crystal Empire. To do so, he must strike down the pony that stands in his way, Princess Cadance. In a surprise attack, Sombra nearly succeeds in killing her. An intervention from Shining Armor foils Sombra's attack, leaving him broken and in a comatose state.
With little hope for her husband waking up, Cadance continues to rule the Empire to the best of her ability alone.
Forces beyond her control will reunite Cadance with her husband, but everything comes at a cost. The pony Cadance gets in return will not be the same one she married.
His name is Setsuna F. Seie.
