Apparently it wasn't all that unheard of for unknown species to come into equestria with the use of inter-dimensional portals, as it had happened five or six times before, but it was the first time that it had happened by accident.But as surprised as I was about falling through a portal and landing in someones house the yellow creature hiding behind a chair was much more surprised than I was. After a couple of seconds of just standing there i decided that it would be good to say something. "uh...Hello"? With the speed that the creature moved towards me I was thinking that she might have been flying, but she was probably running, after she reached me she started mumbling something about how she couldn’t believe that there was a new species that she had never seen before.
She looked rather normal apart from the fact that her skin was yellow and she had hair that looked like it belonged in an anime, it also kind of looked like she had a tail, but i thought that maybe her hair was just very long. After her shock had died down a some I asked her what her name was.
“It’s uh...F-Fluttershy” she said it so quiet that it was incredible that I even heard it
I told her that my name was john, and she said that john was a nice sounding name
I resisted the urge to ask her why she had such a strange sounding name, knowing that it might come off as rude, and for all i knew fluttershy was a normal name and john was the ridiculous sounding name .
It was then that i noticed that her house was filled to the brim with animals, there were rabbits, cats, dogs, birds, and i think i even saw a bear behind her house, I was wondering why i hadn’t noticed
“Hey fluttershy, what’s with all the animals?”
“Oh I um, am the only veterinarian in Ponyville, so i have to handle the sick animals in town”
“Did you just say ponyville?”
“Yes, that’s the name of the town, what is wrong with that?”
“It’s just kind of odd that you would name a town after ponies”
“It um, isn’t that strange considering we are ponies
“what! i think that if you believe that you are a pony, that it is a clear sign that you have been spending too much time around animals”
She laughed and assured me that she is, indeed, a pony.
“Yellow skin, why not. pink hair, sure, a tail, it’s possible, even wings, but you are definitely not- wait, you have wings!?!?”
