The fresh scent of morning dew wafted through my window, the far off sound of conversation could be heard as the day began. I hate mornings. fortunately today, the day I had been waiting for, today my schedule was absolutely empty, although being royalty is a great honor it doesn't leave me much time to relax. Today was different, but before i could fall back into the dark veil of sleep a very nervous voice called for me.

"Twilight wake up, its very important." he yelped

I didn't even need to look to know whose voice this was, and sure enough when i got up to see who it was there standing at the foot of my bed was my help assistant spike.

"Spike what is cant you see i'm trying to..." I cut myself off.

Something was wrong spike had an extremely fearful look on his face, grant it he is just a baby dragon, but something about his face was off putting. I sprang to my hooves ready for action (I have not only treated spike like a brother, but also somewhat like a mother to him, I guess its because i'm the only family he's really ever known).

"What is it spike, are you OK, are you hurt." I asked frantically.

"Well Twi I think i'm the one you should be talking to." a cheerful voice squealed behind me.

I spun around to see a pearly, white smile looking back at me. The pony behind this smile was non other than pinkie pie herself.

"WHAT IS GOING ON." I screeched.

The mere sight of her in my room did not cause this violent outburst, but in fact the pink smiling mare I had known for years now had to new distinct features. A horn and a pair of wings!
