Pinkamena Diane Pie is a sixteen year old mare. Pinkamena's parents tell the family that the farm is going out of business. In order to keep the farm, they arrange for Pinkamena to marry a rich unicorn named "Party Favor." At first, she accepts once she sees how sweet and caring he is. But soon after meeting him, she realizes that he is not what he seems.

When she can no longer take the pain and suffering, she runs away in the middle of the night, though, not sure where to go. It is when she meets a stallion named "Cheese Sandwich" where she begins to feel happy, appreciated… And possibly… In love…

But what happens when the stallion, whom she was supposed to marry, goes out searching for her? He plans to make her pay. Wait until he finds out she's on the road with another stallion…. Things could get ugly….
