A Pink Dusk

Twilight went through with Pinkie behind her. She wasn’t sure if it worked or not. She was still in the library. All of a sudden, she heard hoofsteps going downstairs. She then saw her genderbent double come into form.

“Twilight?” the colt asked trying to find out if he was imagining or not.

“Dusk Shine!” Twilight exclaimed. “Pinkie, the spell worked!”

Dusk noticed the pink mare behind Twilight and held a crooked smile.

“See, Twilight? I told you it would work!” Pinkie acknowledged.

“How did you come here?” Dusk asked flabbergasted.

“Pinkie found a spell in one of the books in my library.” Twilight explained. “You must have it, too.”

Pinkie was about to tell Dusk where the book was located, but instantly forgot. She stared at Dusk Shine instantly zoning out from whatever she was thinking about earlier. All she could so was stare at the lavender colt.

“Um, Pinkie,” Twilight said. “Are you on earth with us?”

“Huh?” Pinkie murmured, cheeks going red. “Yes…”

All of a sudden, the library door burst open. A pink colt was at the door.

“I thought I heard familiar voices!” he chirped.

Bubble Berry, Pinkie Pie’s male double, went up to the trio, giving each of them a bone crushing hug. Behind him, stood the rest of the group coming in of the exact order of Rainbow Blitz, ButterScotch, Elusive, and finally Apple Jack. All of who entered stared at the lavender and cotton candy colored mares.

“Dusk Shine,” Elusive spoke up. “Why are they here?”

The named pony gave a shrug as the pink mare said, “Well, I found this really weird book and gave it to Twilight over here. Then I told her to go to page 28 and a bunch of rainbows and magical color things happened. And then Twilight said, “Pinkie, this doesn’t work. You lied to me you big meanie.” Then I said, “How am I mean?!” Then she said, “Just push-“

Twilight covered the pink pony’s mouth and said, “She pushed me through the mirror…”

Everyone nodded knowing that for once, Twilight wasn’t confusing in explaining something.

“OH! Ima go get the others! Now Rainbow Blitz, ButterScotch, and Elusive will be with their loves again!” Pinkie screeched.

The named Pegasi got red in the face earning a chuckle from their friends.

Elusive just said, “Don’t hurt yourself!” This earned him a look of confusion.

Pinkie then ran through the mirror in search of her friends.
