1 year has passed since Twilight Sparkle disappeared, and there has been little to no trace to where she's gone. However, after 1 year since her disappearance, there's a new mare in town. Also convenient, a dance club has a prize to the pony that can get 4 stars (or over) for five songs in a row. What will happen, I don't know. (I'm bad at summaries.)

Dear Diary,

Hey there, Diary! Been awhile since I last wrote here, so might as well do it now! I have been on this train for hours and hours, I think I'm cramping a wing bone or something. I don't know, I'll have to look into that later on.

Anyways, the reason I'm on the train is that I'm going to visit Ponyville for a while. I heard it's a really peaceful place. Even has a dance club! Can't wait to show my moves there! Maybe compete a bit too. Also, don't want to give away my true identity here. Ponies back where I've been living for the past half-year saw me as "The Mystery Dancer" because of my dance moves. Some call me Misty D' for short, but I think I need to wrap this up. See you later!
