Rarity ran around frantically, she was working hard on dresses for the up coming ball, it was thrown in the spirit of Luna's birthday, even though she clearly asked not to have a party--Princess cadence insisted. Rarity wiped the sweat from her forehead and continued working on her own dress when she got the main six's done. It was obvious Rarity was excited.
When the two days passed and the ball arrived, Rarity had helped her friends get comfortable in their new gowns, "Do you like them!?" Twilight smiled,"We always love your clothing Rarity!" Rainbow Dash snickered, "yeah righ---i mean, yeah we always do." she quickly corrected after Apple Jack gave her the eye.  Rarity smiled, "Great! because i got your dress a bow Dash!" Rainbow Dash groaned as Apple Jack Stepped on her hoof, "OW!---oh..eheh..yay.." Pinkie Pie laughed and hopped around in her bubble gum pink gown, "come on! come on! lets go! i can only imagine the party food they must have!" Apple Jack swooned, "I'ma get me some apple pie, and some apple sider, OWEE!! and one  of those lil apple-" "We get the point you love apples, lets go." Rainbow Dash interrupted, tugging at her dress slightly. Before Apple Jack could argue Twilight budded in, "Ehehe..Yeah, dont wanna be late..eheh.." She quickly stated a bit awkwardly and nervously. They nodded and headed outside where a carriage was waiting for them. "I must admit Twilight, i cant think of a better way of going then in a carriage."
"Are we there yet?" Dash groaned as Rarity sighed, "No." "Are we there yet?" This was gonna be a long ride....
Once they got to princess Celestia's castle, They all entered excited--well, except Dash of course. Rarity was immediately overwhelmed by all her beautiful surroundings, "this place will always be absolutely gorgeous!" Pinkie pie laughed, "You can say that again!" Rainbow Dash immediately tried to bale on them but Apple Jack kept a good eye on Dash, "nice try, now get back inside, or y'all gonna see my wrath."
Rarity spoke with many colts and mares, she fit in quite nicely here. But suddenly, The ball room fell silent a black and purple colt entered the room, but he wasn't some normal pony, he was the unspeakable,"A male alicorn....?" Twilight looked up in disbelief, as did her fellow ponies. The male colt wore an old styled tux, with a purple bow tie,his hair was high above his face and was twisted in some curl like due, his tail was loose and uneven. He wore heavy golden bracelet like jewelry on all four of his hooves, and in the center was some kind of purple gem. He was fairly tall, a bit shorter then Celestia, about the size of Luna's height i guess. His cutie mark was a bright silver moon and his eyes were purple,a deep crimson purple in which could melt anyones heart away if looked at tenderly.
Ponies remained astonished until Princess Celestia entered her ball room, "whats going on?"
