We all know the story of The Harts Warming Eve. Well, what if that story was lye. What if what really happened was something much more painful.
A car making its way down the freeway, speeds at an okay speed when all of a sudden a blue portal opens in front of it. Unable to steer away from it the car goes right thru it, passenger and all.
Crashing into a mountain of snow the car stops. A man steps out looking around his surroundings. ''Man where the hell am I?'' he said Looking at the front where the car impacted, he said '' Yeah this thing isn't going anywhere, dammit the radiator broke.''
Taking a small box rapped in a blue paper, with a bright red bow on top, as well as an over size backpack, from the car he begins to walk.
For what seemed like hours he walked, but he never saw anybody no person or animal. Just endless white snow.
It was starting to get dark, and he needed to find a place for the night. He tried to build an igloo by parking up snow but, the dam thing just kept crumbling down.
So for a few more hours he walked, and walked trying to find shelter. He was about to give just as the sun was going down when he saw a small cave.
Normally a person would be cautious at such a thing, they would approach calmly, so they wouldn't startle any animal.
Did he do this did he do what any rational Human being would do?
Nope, he ran like an idiot, threw whatever snow was covering the entrance, out of the way and went inside.
To be honest with you when a person is desperate he tends to make less than. Oh, who am I kidding were idiots when we get like that.
He tried to make a fire but the only things on him were, his backpack and his little brother's birthday present. So he emptied out his backpack tore some pages from his English book and tried to make a fire.
Only to find he didn't have any matches. He remembered that his brothers present also had a small lighter on it, so he tore the box open and accidentally dropped nine rings.
As soon as the rings hit the snow [ Rage detected ] a red light covered the entire cave and that's where he saw them. Pegasus, Unicorns, and regular Pony's frozen in a mixture of ice and Crystal.
The entire cave glowed red like crazy, the things he saw were being melted tuned into a ball of what looked like lava inside a perfectly round sphere. When it all ended the ring forced it self into his hand, covering him in a red light, as for the sphere, it remained floating in the same spot it had been made.
The man dint want to accept it, but he really wasn't in his world anymore. He quickly picked up the rest of the rings, and found that they had very little power in them.
So he slept through the night, not even feeling the cold any more, when morning came he searched for any other people. But he never found any.
For four days he searched and for four days he was alone. So he decided that if he was stuck there he might as well make the dam place his. In a combination of the sphere and his ring he melted the snow all around him. The sphere would envelope the area, and his ring would would direct the light the sphere shined.
He made a castle and at the very top he put the sphere, with the heat little by little grass began to grow. Little by little flowers grew. Yeah things were starting to look up.
The thing is that constant shining red light his castle had started attracting attention, from far and wide the came searching, following the red light. Some flew, others walked, while others simply teleported.
When he saw this he was shocked, they begged they pleaded for him tho let them in, to let them live in his new home. His answer was simple ''live under my rule and you may stay.''
Of course, many were opposed to this, but where else could they go, So they all said yes. Without him knowing two of his rings began consuming more power, the blue ring of Hope grew stronger with everyone's hope for safety, for a new life.
When it finally manifested, its form was that of someone praying. Its light shined bright bathing everyone, Griffons, Donkeys, Pigs, Changelings, and Cows. Like the last time the ring forced itself onto his hand.
Like the last time he used the ring,and its power source to envelop the surrounding area. Melting the snow and waited, he turned half his castle blue, while the other half remained red, but added more rooms for them to live in.
For five months they worked trying to help the land grow, heal. The first problems came, when he found out the Changeling feed of Love and had been taking some of the people to eat.
Of course they always returned them, healthy with no injuries. Everyone wanted to kick them out, but he would have none of it. So he used his blue ring and made a puddle of blue love just enough for them to eat, he had to do this daily.
One day it happened, a bright green light shot to the sky shining in all its green glory taking the form of a small fish. It quickly covered an area twice the size of what we had. Like the time before, and the time be fore that we waited.
''My castle was now red at the bottom, blue in the center, and green on top. We spread out and grew. To be honest with you the only reason no one died from starvation was because I used my rings to feed them.''
''One day we found them, they were barely a thousand of them, Buffalo last of their kind.'' We brought them in, we fed them, clothe them and cured their diseases. Not long after that we found the Minotaur's, they were a little better, but still in bad conditions.''
''No one argued, or struggled. I guess they thought what was the point.''
''Soon after that the Diamond dogs found us, it was probably the first fight we had. Not much to talk about, it ended in a day.''
''One day an Indigo glow spread thru out the castle, it took the form of an Octopus. Taking control of the other powers it shot to the sky, and spread the lights to all the world. Needless to say a new color was added to my castle.''
''When the long desired spring finally came, I called forth all of the leaders of each group. It would be up to them, as to who would represent them.''
''I had too much power, and needed a way to connect with my people.''
''Chose it matters not if its a child from the lowest of low upbringings, or a noble of the highest order. For they will represent you in my court.''
'' However, should they abuse the power I will bestow upon them, I will strip them of it and sill put someone who can wield it even if its not of your kind'' I said
''They were each given a necklaces with the form of each of their light colors, one for every race.
You know with everything that had been going on, I had completely forgotten it was Spring. Love was in the air and from that love came a bright Pink Crystal, it quickly took to the sky with its brothers and shined along with them.
It was three years after that we encountered the Zebras, To this day I cant even keep up with how well the rime.
''So miss Sun But, and Miss Moon Ass that's how my kingdom was made. Now tell me one good reason.
''Why I should hand it over to those that let my people behind to die?''
