Chapters Scoots walked to her class after her friends had agreed on what they were going to do. Even though Sweetie hesitated, she finally agreed to go mountain climbing. Scootaloo walked in and went to her desk, taking out a book to read for the first 15 minutes of her language arts class.
"Alright everyone", Cheerilee said once the 15 minutes were up,"I trust you all had a great weekend, and I really hope you all handed in your essays from 'The midsummer night's dream' that you were assigned on friday", Scootaloo stopped and looked up, eyes wide. She didn't do it. Great, now she was gonna have a fail for a major grade.
"Um..", Scoots said as she waved her hand in the air waiting to be acknowledged. Cheerilee eyed her and sighed. "Let me guess, you didn't do it, did you Scootaloo?", she asked with a flat tone. Scootaloo gulped,"What if I said no.....?"
"Listen Scootaloo, you can't just-", she was interrupted by a knock at the door. A student went over to open it. "Yes?" Cheerilee said, acting as if she wasn't about yell. She then stepped out into the hallway and slightly closed the door.
'Phew, saved by the door' Scootaloo though. Moments later, Cheerilee came back inside with a smile.
"Class I'd like to introduce a new fellow class mate! Everyone give a proud welcome tooooo, Rumble!", she shouted as if she were some kind of announcer. Rumble looked around to see some kids smiling and waving, others rolling their eyes, and others just doodling in their notebooks. Rumble went and sat down in the only open seat, in between Scootaloo and Silver Spoon.
"So sorry you have to sit next to her", Silver Spoon said. She eyed Scootaloo as she started to get angry, Rumble confused as ever.
"Me?! Sorry you have to sit next to a brat like her, who can barely tell the difference between a whale and an ant!", Scoots replied. They both growled at each other and eyed one another angrily.
"Listen, can't we just start of with a simple 'Hi'?", he asked innocently, trying his best not get involved in any girl drama and blow his chance of being named cool by his fellow classmates. They looked at him and slowly calmed back down.
"Hi, I'm Silver Spoon", Silver said flatly. "Scootaloo, nice to meet ya", Scoots said after a while. They all shook it off and paid attention in class.
Rumble looked back at Scootaloo every once in a while , she just seemed distant for some reason.
"Hey Scoots, umm can I call you that? Anyway um do you know where locker, 369 is?", he asked nervously. Scootaloo rolled her eyes as she turned around and pointed to a locker across from her. "You mean that one?", she asked.
Rumble stared blankly. It read #369 right on the top in silver coated letters. "Y-yeah...", he scrached the back of his head embarrassed. He ran towards it. Scoots laughed a little and turned back to getting her stuff. 'That was adorable' she thought as she smiled. She stopped. 'Wait ..What!'
Scoots sat in her desk during science class thinking about what had just happened. Did she really just call a guy adorable? More specifically, a guy she just met and barely considered a friend. That was crazy, she was crazy, what was going on?! She started thinking with a concerned look on her face. Luckily Applebloom had this class with her.
"Um, Scoots are you ok, you look constipated", Applebloom said.

Again another filler chapter, not anything really *that* important. Anyways I've got to write the third chapter so guys are at least interested in this fan fic.
"Woah, hold on! I am not constipated!", she yelled a little too loud. Everyone looked at her and a few kids snikered.
"Was that really necessary?",the teacher asked. She looked at Scootaloo as if to say 'Shut up before I make you' so Scoots didn't question it, she just put her head down and remained silent.
"Sorry Scoots, I didn't mean for ya to get in trouble", AB whispered to her. Scootaloo sat up.
"Don't worry about it I need to talk to you and Sweetie Belle about something important. Very important." Applebloom looked at her, wondering what might be so important that she can't just whisper it to her.
"So now will you tell me", she looked over to Sweetie Belle," Will you tell us, what's on your mind?" AB asked. Scootaloo opened her mouth as if to say something, but was stopped suddenly.
"Hey Scoots!", Rumble said smiling before being pulled away by another, older boy. Scootaloo smiled at him and waved. AB and Sweetie saw this and looked at each other, then at Scoots and then back at each other.
"What?", Scootaloo asked.
"Oh nothin' ,nothin'- except for the fact that you may have a teensy little crush" AB said teasingly. Scootaloo's eyes widened. Sweetie Belle giggled.
"What?! Nononono, you girls are crazy, you hear me CRAZY!!! I do not have a crush. I was just being nice, can't I have any male friends without you guys saying stuff like that. I'm a tomboy, it's normal for me to have guy friends....", Scootaloo said while blushing and crossing her arms. She was definitely not crushing on Rumble, she just met him today!
"Aw c'mon admit it, Scoots, you like him don't you?", Sweetie asked softly. Her sister could definitely help in something like this, so its best not to waste this opportunity.
Scootaloo wouldn't give in. "NO NO NO you guys are dead wrong! I just met him 2 hours ago and he's my friend", she said.
"Well then what *did* you wanna tell us?" AB said with a smirk, she knew she had her there.
"You know what forget it, I'm not hungry and I don't feel like talking right now", Scootaloo said as she got up and left, much to Applebloom and Sweetie Belle's surprise. After she left they stared at each other and decided to just let it go, after all they did just meet and she probably was just being nice. They finished their lunch and went to look for her to apologize.
What were her friends thinking? She was being nice to a friend, that was all. Heck he was barely her friend, they had just met. Her friends didn't know what they're talking about. Or atleast, she hoped they didn't.

Just friends
Scootaloo left the bathroom, still a little upset at her friends for how they acted in lunch. As she was heading to gym she bumped into someone.
"Hey, watch where your going crusader!", Diamond Tiara yelled back. Scootaloo just got up and walked away. Diamond look back at her, shocked. "Um aren't you gonna say anything back, ya know there's no fun in being mean if you don't get a fight", she said.
"I'm not in the mood for your antics, Diamond", she said flatly. With that she was gone, leaving Diamond Tiara in awe.
"Something's up", she whispered to herself,"and im gonna find out what." She went to look for the other crusaders to shed some light in this. No one but Silver Spoon and herself knew that Diamond Tiara trully considered the crusaders as her friends and she wasn't going to let one of her friends be upset if it wasn't her doing.
Diamond and Silver ran towards Sweetie Belle's locker, figuring that she would be easier to talk to than Applebloom. When they saw her purple and pink head, they smiled as the went to talk to her.
"HEY SWEETIE BELLE, ITS SO NICE TO SEE YOU, ARE THOSE NEW BOOTS!", Silver yelled in a rather flat, awkward tone.
"Um...yeah...why are you yelling?", Sweetie asked. Diamond did a facepalm.
"OH IM JUST TRYING TO BE NICE TO MY GOOOO-"
"She has issues", Diamond answered quietly after elbowing Silver in the stomach. "Anyways, we were wondering if you could tell us what's wrong with Scootaloo", she said as perky as possible.
"Why? So you can pick on her for it, yeaaaaah...no", Sweetie said and turned to walk away. All of a sudden, Diamond pulled her hand.
"Please we want to help, I promise we won't try to use it against her", she pleaded. Sweetie looked at her as if to say 'really' and tried to wiggle out of her grasp."Please", she pleaded again.
"Fine. But if you hurt her, my sister will personally come to your house and slap you", she warned. She told them everything that happened in lunch and how they got her upset, both of them listening carefully.
Scoots was in gym getting ready to run some laps. She had almost completely forgotten about everything at the cafeteria and even questioned why she was mad at her friends. But that sense of security only lasted about 30 seconds. Suddenly Rumble walked in the gym, late of course, and started jogging in place trying to warm up to run the laps. Scootaloo stared.
"Wow", she said in awe as he started practice running. He was faster than he seemed. He eventually stopped and got some water. He then went to sit next to Scoots. He really saw her as his only friend so far. But it was his first day, he didn't expect to showered by people.
"Hey Scoots!" He said smiling sheepishly. She looked at him, he was always funny when he seemed nervous.
"Hey Rumble, you were pretty fast out there. Good job!", she managed to say after a while.
"Aww that was just my warm up, get ready for the real deal in a bit! Bet I can beat you!" He challenged proudly.
"Oh really? You are so on!", she replied. They both ran to the starting line ,with everyone else of course, and took off with the blow of a whistle. Even though Rumble started off faster, she eventually caught up with him in their second to last lap.
"Hey Rumble! Try to keep up", she yelled teasingly as she zoomed past him. He sped up and was soon ahead of her.
They finished around roughly the same time, both out of breath and tired.
"See told ya I *pant* could beat *pant* you!", he said between breathes.
"No way *pant* I beat you! *pant* by a landslide!", she replied firmly. She then looked at him as he gulped down half a bottle of water and handed her one as well. She took it and drank some herself. "Well can't we just comprise and say that we tied?", she asked.
He looked around for about a second before turning back."How about no...?", he joked. Scootaloo lightly punched him in the arm. "Hey calm down warrior, I was just kidding", he said. He stared at her for a bit, she did so too. She then stopped and looked away as she felt herself turn bright red.
"You weren't bad out there rookie" she said finally. This kinda surprised him, but he smiled anyway.
"Neither were you". And with that he got his stuff and went to the showers. Scootaloo watched him until he disappeared into the boys locker room.
Maybe she was crushing....No she couldn't be, she still didn't know him enough she assured herself. Besides he was probably just being a good sport, right? Nothing romantic there, right? 'We're just friends, we are just friends' she thought to her self.
She sighed "Just Friends" she said quietly.
"So, let me get this straight, you and Applebloom were teasing Scootaloo by telling her she has a crush?! Is that why she's so upset?!" Diamond asked. She could understand that Scootaloo might have been a little upset, but to completely ignore a nasty comment from anybody, was just to much.
"Yeah, Applebloom and I agree we shouldn't have done that" Sweetie said.
"Well you guys are friends, and friends shouldn't be mad at each other. You guys should, like, apologize" Silver Spoon asked.
"We plan to and the clubhouse, if she shows up that is" Sweetie replied."Now if you excuse me, I need to get to class". She wasn't tardy or anything, she just felt wrong telling the two people who hated her and her friends the most about their problems.
"Do you think everything will be ok between them?" Silver asked.
"Sure, we've seen them still be friends despite all their disagreements, why would this be any different".

Scootaloo walked out of her last class ready to go home. She hadn't seen Sweetie Belle and Applebloom since lunch, she was starting to feel guilty for walking out on them.
Then she saw them out of the corner of her eye. She looked at them as the stopped talking and looked at her back. They then ran up to her to go apologize.
"We are so sorry we made fun of you, we know you're not exactly the romantic type'a gal" Applebloom said.
"And we didn't mean for you to get upset" Sweetie Belle commented.
"I'll accept your apology...if you can accept mine. I'm so sorry I just walked out on you guys like a spoiled brat, I was just mad and I couldn't take it, I just needed a moment" Scootaloo replied, guilt written all over her face.
Sweetie and Applebloom just looked at each other and smiled. Then they hugged her and she hugged back, all relieved that they were all happy with each other again.
"Now who's up for mountain' clibmin'"

Nearby, as the halls started to get more and more crowded, two girls were silently watching.
"See I told you they would solve this all on their own" Diamond Tiara said.
"Yeah I know, I know. So should we ask them now?" Silver replied.
"What are you crazy, not now they just went through apologizing....and through the door.." Diamond said as she saw them walk out. "We'll ask them tomorrow".

"Well that certainly didn't get us our special styles.." Applebloom said, cleaning dirt of her arm.
"I told you guys this was a bad idea, but noooo...." Sweetie remarked.
"And I told you no risk no reward" Applebloom commented, slightly offended.
"Well we didn't exactly get a "reward" Applebloom" Sweetie Shot back.
"Ok hold it you two..We've had enough problems for one day, we don't need anymore" Scootaloo said trying to stop a fight from forming.
"Sorry" Sweetie said.
"...sorry" Applebloom replied.
"Good ,now I understand this didn't work as we hoped, but shouldn't we be trying to come up with new ideas for our next quest instead" Scootaloo said.
"Well, what if we try to work on things we're already good at rather than try to do new, more dangerous things we've never tried!" Sweetie belle suggested.
"No, that would never work, what is wrong with you?" Applebloom said.
"Hmmm, well maybe we can try-"
"Um Applebloom, you should be gettin' ready for dinner, we have Apple fritters for desert!" Applejack said peeking her head in the clubhouse.
"Huh", she looked outside"guess I didn't notice".
She waved good bye to Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo.

"Well I was thinking we could-" Scootaloo bumped into someone. No not Flash Sentry...shut up.
"Hey Scoots" Rumble said.

"Oh, hey Rumble..hehe", Scootaloo said slightly embarrassed. And a little annoyed at being interrupted for the second time but that was a minor issue.
"Hey..." he drifted off while extending a hand to help her up,"sorry about that, I wasn't looking". Rumble felt his cheeks frow warm, but he brushed it off as embarrassment. Scootaloo noticed this and decided to mess with him a little. Just a little.
"Oh yeah, well why don't you watch where you're going for once!", she said, folding her fists as if she was going to punch him. Seeing this Rumble chuckled and started running. "You'll have to catch me first slow poke!", he said between laughs.
"Get back here! I'm not done yet!", Scootaloo called back. She chased after him, the other crusaders running after her. It was all fun and games until the principle showed up.
"Stop running, all of you!", Celestia yelled. "Look kids, I've had enough of a bad morning with my sister today, don't ask, and I don't need more torture here! Now all of you go to your classes or wherever you need to be but do it quietly!", she continued shouting.
"Yes ma'am", they all replied in unison. They snickered as they walked towards the library, still somewhat tired from running. They parted ways with Rumble as he went to the bathroom and they continued on their path.
"That was some fun, wasn't it?", Sweetie said after a while. Even though she was tired, she didn't like silence all that much.
"Yeah, sure was. Now what were you suggesting we do, Scoots", Applebloom asked, remembering they still didn't have anything to do on the weekend.
"Aw crap, I forgot", Scoots replied. She really hadn't, she just didn't wanna risk being interrupted a third time.
Entering the library quietly, they went on different places looking for books for their next reading assignment. Scootaloo wondered off into the sport section looking for biographies where she somehow ran into someone, without intention of course.
"Hey kid", Rainbow Dash said without facing her. Scootaloo looked up, only to be face to face with a lerson she admired truly.
"R-rainbow Dash! What are you doing here?", Scootaloo asked in shock. It was rare seeing Rainbow Dash pick up a book, but being in a place for books at will was definitely some sort of magic. Even if they were sports booksl
"I'm eating spagetti, what do you think im doing?", Rainbow asked sarcastically.
"Oh right sorry, it's just I never thought you would read books", Scootaloo replied. Rainbow Dash was Rainbow Dash, she was fearless, strong, awesome, and just about everything else. But she definitely wasn't an egghead.
"Books aren't only for nerds ya' know, besides these are just to get pointers for the game", Rainbow replied. Scootaloo still looked puzzled.
"Soo, even if they weren't sports books, you would still read them?", she asked. Rainbow looked away.
"Yeah probably. Why, is that bad?", Rainbow said, suddenly panicking a bit. She didn't want a little girl that admired her so much to have a change of opinion on her.
"No, no", she replied smiling "I think its awesome! I mean for the longest time I've been reading this 'Daring Do' series", she she said pulling a book from her backpack.
"-Wait, did you say Daring Do?!", Rainbow interrupted. "Those are my favorite books in the whole world!!"
"Really?!", Scootaloo asked excitedly. "They are having a convention for the new book release next weekend!"
"I know, I know! You wanna come with me?!", Rainbow asked, figuring her parents wouldn't let het her travel all the way across the country all alone.
"Well duh, I just have to ask my parents", Scootaloo answered. She was scared they would still say 'no'.
Noticing this, Rainbow decided she would ask them instead."Don't worry, Scoots, I'll be there when you do".
"Thanks Rainbow Dash, you're the best!", Scootaloo replied smiling. She was happy that Dash was so understanding.
"Yeah, I know I'm awesome" Rainbow Dash replied. They both chucked and high fived. Out of nowhere, Diamond Tiaea and Silver Spoon appeared, smug looks on their faces as always.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, your little boyfriend's looking for you", Silver said smirking. She knew that would get her out of there.
"Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend", Rainbow replied confused. There was a boy she liked, but she had only told Rarity and Applejack. She didn't think they would tell anyone.
"So Soarin isn't your boyfriend? I mean, you're always with him", Diamond Tiara said teasingly, she knew where Silver was headed with this.
"I....I...", Rainbow stuttered, her face growing red."Ugh, where is he?"
"We saw him at the gym", Diamond answered.
"He desperately needs to talk to you", Silver added. The blush on Rainbow's face deeped stood up and ran towards the gym. "Well that's enough of that", Silver said. Both her and Diamond bent down to where Scootaloo was.
"What do you guys want?", Scootaloo said annoyed at them. "I'm just gonna get some books about football stars and be on my way".
"And while you do that, we have to ask you something" Diamond said worriedly. Silver's expression chaged as well.
"What? Have I earned my special style yet?", Scootaloo replied, a slight bit of anger in her voice.
"No, actually. We wanted to ask..if maybe..we could be friends? With you and the other crusaders?"

Just another ordinary day
The sun beamed through the window on Scootaloo's room as her alarm clock rang innumerable times waking up everyone in the house. Scootaloo's mom went down to make breakfast, but stopped to knock on her door hoping to wake her up, she knew Scoots was a deep sleeper. "Scootaloo, sweetie, please get up. I don't want you to be late...again", she yelled through the door. Scootaloo finally woke up and rubbed her eyes open "Ok, ok I'm up!", she softly yelled back and with that, her mother went down to make waffles.
Scoots slowly pulled out of the covers and went to her bathroom. As she brushed her teeth, she thought about what her and the crusaders were going to do next to find their special styles. Bee keeping? Bike riding? Lion taming?! What ever they came up with she knew it was gonna be totally awesome!
After having breakfast, she went down to the bus stop. She looked around as she waited and saw that the house that was for sale had been bought. 'Oh great, is mom gonna make us invite the new neighbors to dinner again' Scoots thought as she remembered the last time a family moved into the neighborhood. Just then, the bus came and Scootaloo got on. She got into the next available window seat and rode to school.
When Scoots got there she went to her locker to get her stuff as she was greeted by her her friends, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. "So what kind of exciting things are we doing today?!", Sweetie asked, happy as ever.
"Well I was thinkin' we could go mountain climbin' , ya know, an adventurous style mark!", Applebloom said. Sweetie belle looked rather concerned.
"Um are you sure that's safe, AB?", Sweetie asked. Scootaloo watched as their friends sorted things out. This was shaping up to be just another ordinary day. And Scootaloo liked it that way.
