"Argh-What-Where am I?" Rarity choked, regaining her consciousness. Around her was nothing but darkness, and the only thing that she was hearing currently was the sound of a cart being lugged around. Rarity had tired to move around from where she was laying down, but she had no such luck. It seemed that she was strapped down to a table of some sorts. "Ah-!" Rarity hissed as the lights around her flickered on.

"Recording 1-1-8. I had found one of the forgotten ponies from long ago. The pony doesn't seem to be injured or hurt in the slightest, but the material that it was wearing beforehand was lost when the pony was being taken to the laboratory." Said a voice that was far away from where Rarity was strapped down.

"I demand for you to let me go!" Rarity shouted, wiggling against the binds that held her down. "I'm not an item for you to experiment on in your, 'laboratory'"

"It seems that the pony is retaliating against the handcuffs. I will enter the cubicle to check on its restraint power." The voice announced.

Rarity looked up quickly when she'd spotted a pony that was dressed up In a lab coat, with a mask covering his or her face. The pony had also hid its mane behind the mask. Rarity's curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she decided to wait until the lab pony was close enough, before she would whack the mask off the pony's face. Rarity knew it was an unpleasant thing to do, especially to the pony who was holding her currently in custody, but she needed to know who the pony was.

Rarity was watching the pony very careful as it made its way to where she was strapped down, luckily, her restraint wasn't tight enough to hold her whole hoof down. She'd also noticed that the pony that was making its way towards her had a coat (skin) color of a dark-shade of purple. The reason why she knew this is because the lab coat that the pony was wearing was quite short, and Rarity could've easily seen her hooves. It reminded her of somepony she knew...

Finally, the lab pony began to restrain the hoof that was on the other side of Rarity, so she had perfect aim. Rarity began to quietly count to 3, before she slapped the lab pony's face with her hoof, making the mask go flying.

As soon as the mask hit the ground, Rarity's mouth turn into a 'o' shape.

"Look what you've done!" The pony screeched, bending over to grab the mask that had fallen onto the tiled floor. But Rarity had already seen enough. The pony had a mane of a light and dark purple color, like the color of its hooves, but Rarity had also noticed that the pony had the same exact cutie mark that Twilight had, as the pony bent over to grab the mask.

"Twilight?" Rarity asked in shock, "Is it really you?"

Before the pony that was supposedly Twilight had put on her mask again, she looked at Rarity with a heartbroken expression. Twilight had crinkles all over her face, and under her eyes. She had looked like that she either had a lack of sleep, or if she was... old.

"How do you know my name?" Twilight hissed, staring directly at Rarity. Rarity couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Twilight, it's me, Rarity. Your good friend, from the past?"

"Your Good friend?" Twilight frowned, "You still think... We're friends?"

"Of course." Rarity smiled, hoping that Twilight would remember her.

"Why...Why are you so young? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked, staring at the handcuffs that Rarity was still strapped down by.

"Why are you asking me? What happened to you?" Rarity questioned, pointing at the lab coat Twilight was wearing.

"I'm still the same," Twilight sighed, "It's just that... I'd realized that I'd lost Friendship a long time ago, and that I couldn't earn it back."

"What are you talking about, Twilight? You're the element of friendship. You can't loose friendship, especially not from me." Rarity explained.

"You have no clue Rarity, you have no clue." Twilight chuckled, turning away from Rarity.

"I certainly do, Twilight. I know that whatever happened, it wouldn't have broken up our friendship." Rarity argued.

"WELL," Twilight yelled, startling Rarity, "WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR 'BEST FRIENDS' MOVE AWAY WITHOUT TELLING YOU?! WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR FRIENDS, I'M SORRY, BEST FRIENDS DECIDE TO BAIL OUT ON YOUR FRIENDSHIP TO TAKE ON CAREERS THAT SUPPORT THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF FRIENDSHIP? AND WHAT HAPPENS IF THE 'ELEMENT OF FRIENDSHIP' IS LEFT BEHIND, WITHOUT THE SUPPORT FROM HER FRIENDS, WHO HELP REPRESENT HER ELEMENT OF HARMONY?!"

"Then you should try to accept what they're doing!" Rarity cries.

"Yes, yes, of course. I did try to accept what they did, and I'd waited for them to contact me. I waited... and waited..." Twilight giggled, strings and pieces from her mane began to stick up, making her mane look twisted and messy.

"You can't... expect them to contact you when they're first starting out..." Rarity says hesitantly.

"But what if they don't EVER call you back? They never tell you how they're doing? They don't remember you, the don't NEED you anymore?" Twilight laughs out loud, caught up in her own insanity. "Is that Friendship? Tell me Rarity," Twilight hissed,

"Is it?"

Rarity remained silent as Twilight placed her hoof upon her neck, pushing down on it. "Wherever you came from, you should know what friendship IS. My friends made me realize that friendship was only a BIG mistake. You only get hurt in the end. And that's what happened to me, so, since you're still in the amidst of still believing in friendship, it's going to be quite hard to..." Twilight's face then showed an expression of absolute insanity. "Convert you."

"C-convert me?" Rarity gasped, bobbing her head up and down to try to make Twilight remove her hoof from her neck.

"Of course!"

Rarity didn't know what to think of it, was she still dreaming? Or was Twilight really going to 'convert' her? Rarity was trying to think more about what Twilight was going to do to her, but what she was focused on now was to try to BREATH.

"Twilight-Argh-Ple-" Rarity choked, her eyes popping out of their sockets.

"Oh, what's wrong Rarity? Feeling a little, out of breath?" Twilight laughs demonically. "Once you wake up, you're going to forget ALL ABOUT OF YOUR FRIENDS."

Finally, Twilight had pushed hard enough on her throat to suffocate her, and make her pass out. Twilight had began to leave the laboratory when suddenly, there was a loud knocking at the door. "Who is it?" Twilight called, still a little affected from her leftover insanity.

Whoever where behind the door didn't speak, but instead knocked down the door, startling Twilight. Twilight began to laugh in surprise, but stopped immediately when she'd realized that there was two Lunar guards standing firmly at her door.
