Well this is odd. One minute I'm cosplaying as the male character from that new digimon game cyber sleuth which included a red wig, a pair of goggles. A black and yellow shirt with a yellow x on my back with a circle on my chest, yellow pants with two black pouches and plain sneakers. On my right hand was a black glove with similar marks on it to my shirt. On the back was a x while on my palm was a circle. I had in my pocket a xros loader painted a nice metallic blue. The next moment after finding a stall that sold a digimon figure I'm suddenly in a different place with the figure now alive and on my head.
The digimon figure I got was a viximon the in training form of the renamon digivolution line.
It slightly resembled a fox if it was just a head with stubby limbs and a fox tail with large bright blue eyes. Where we were looked to be a metropolis city with what seemed to be very high tech mixed with modern to me architecture. But what was making me blink was that it was populated by humanoid ponies. It looked to be night time and I shivered wishing I brought my blue and white jacket just in case.
Ah right I better find shelter quick. As I walked through the city with viximon in my arms I was glad that my clothes blended well in the night which helped me avoid stares. It was then I found a surprising sight. It was a terminal that was yellow in the park I was passing by. As a slight joke I raised my right arm to it. With a jump I saw a blue vortex opened and I was pulled through into a place I recognized very well. EDEN the cyberspace that replaced the internet from the game. I noticed viximon had vanished. Possibly in my loader. I landed at the first area of EDEN slightly disoriented. I was in a place that just yesterday wasn't real. My mind was officially blown. I looked around finding the pony versions of the various NPCs from the game. Considering my appearance I felt it was safe to assume that I was going to live out the game's story. Since I had until morning before I have to meet this worlds version of arata and nokia. And possibly Ami the female version of my character I decided to sit down on a bench and took a nap. When I woke up I just saw a red humanoid pony dressed in a inversed female version of my outfit with the pouches replaced by a yellow backpack and her goggles held her red hair in a ponytail to the side. I stood and approached her.
"Hey there nice to meet you" I said with a grin.
"Ara? Are you blue box?" Asked the pony who I guessed was Ami aioba.
"Nope I'm Geo Hikari I'm kind of new here. I just noticed the similarities to our avatars" I said with a sheepish smile making the pony look me over nodding in agreement.
"Besides your odd appearance it's a surprising likeness" said Ami in agreement.
"Do you mind if I join you I don't know my way around" I said nervous.
"Sure names Ami" said the pony offering me her hand. I shook it with a nod and followed her up as she talked with people before grabbing my hand as she got to a blue circle with a green arrow on it and took me to eden lv2 suddenly a message popped up with navit-kun the mascot of EDEN.
"Your late! The others are already in coulomb" said the mascot before the screen vanished.
"So we need to find the URL don't we" I asked looking to Ami.
"Yes we do" sighed the earth pony humanoid.
"I think I saw someone back on lv1 who might know the URL" I said following Ami's example from the pad and heading back to Eden lv1 and approached the hacker with Ami by my side.
"Hey there do you know how to get to Coulomb?" I asked the unicorn and I heard a lock being undone meaning the keyword worked. The unicorn nodded.
"Yeah I'm sending you the URL now but be careful it's a dangerous place" said the hacker.
My glove beeped in unison with Ami's glove.
"Thanks we're late for meeting some friends of ours and have never been there before" I said and went to the transport pad and selected Coulomb lv1 before I flew off to the lowest level in the cyberspace with Ami close behind.
We soon entered a dark place and I spotted a dark blue unicorn that had to be arata as he wore a blue bodysuit with a white coat that was fused to it. His black hair definitely fit him. He turned his head to see us. We landed in some kind of area that resembled a playground and I stared at the deformed giant teddy bear near the edge.
"Finally you get here! Your late!... hold on which one of you is aioba?" Asked a feminine voice and I turned to look at the crimson pegasus that definitely resembled Nokia from the game.
"That would be her I'm Geo Hikari I'm new to EDEN and when I saw Ami here looked very similar to me I decided to ask her to teach me the basics about EDEN guess I'm joining you guys for this" I said and Nokia nodded and calmed down. Apparently it was a good enough reason for why we are late.
"It didn't help that neither of us knew what you and blue box looked like" said Ami scratching the side of her face sheepishly.
"We saw him on our way down looked like he was heading back to this area" I said.
"He just left me here a moment ago" sighed Nokia making me wince. Yep definitely this worlds versions of the game characters. Appearances aside they were exactly the same. Suddenly Arata arrived and gave me a confused look.
"Hey there name's Geo, over there is Ami I think she's who your looking for. So anyone care to explain what we're doing" I asked looking to the three.
"There been rumors about some programs called digimon. During a chat with some online friends a hacker joined in and threatened us with getting hacked if we didn't come here to get something" said Ami.
"The three of us were the only ones brave enough to go through with it. Well the four of us now if we count you" said Nokia making me nod in understanding.
Suddenly the area around us seemed to glitch.
"What the what's going on" I said making arata check his three screens.
"Our accounts are being hacked" said arata.
Soon the area returned to normal but there was now a program in our accounts.
"Digimon capture? Does this mean we're hackers now" asked Ami shocked. Nokia freaked out and learned we couldn't get rid of the program.
"The program's rooted deep and protected we might not know what will happen with the data if we try to remove it" said Arata.
I heard some steps and turned to the sound's direction.
"I think that was navit-kun" I said pointing in the direction I heard the sound. Arata ran off after the sound and I shared a look with Ami. "We better follow him" I said and the two of us took a step only for Nokia to stop us. She wanted to leave but as she turned we found a fire wall.
"Not good Nokia stay here while me and Ami go find Arata" I said and the two of us ran deeper into Coulomb and I sighed as soon enough we encountered the digital specter of Yugo kamishiro and another hack occurred making the both of us collapse. The specter seemed to reach out to us before we lost consciousness. When we came to it was to a white unicorn in Yugo's outfit but I knew the avatar was not real.
'He' told us about digimon and that we were only fledgling hackers before telling us about digimon. I already knew how this was going to go and looked around noticing that besides a green and cream colored rabbit like digimon. The plant like digimon and what seemed to be floating gears there were twin digimon that I recognized as salamon a cream colored dog like being with a collar that as gatomon would become a tail ring. Ami seemed to be more focused on the previous three. Suddenly a infermon appeared and was after the five digimon.
"Shimata! We got to help those digimon" I said running after the five with Ami making 'yugo' stare after us surprised.
"They must have kind heats like me" said 'yugo' with a smile before following.
Me and Ami entered the next area where the five Digimon were cornered by infermon.
Quickly the two of us got before the five Digimon.
" Not so fast you excuse for a virus but there is no way we are going to let you harm them" I said with a glare. The digimon looked at us shocked. Suddenly my xros loader glowed and so did the two salamon. With a determined look they went to my side as 'yugo' came to our side and called forth 'his' machinedramon.
"Guess I was right you both do have kind hearts now let's take care of that digimon" said 'yugo'.
The other three digimon went to Ami's side.
"Yosha let's take this guy down" I said pulling out my xros loader which resembled a microphone and part of it lifted revealing a hidden grill with a gold v in the center.
"Salamon shinka!" I said as I pointed it at the two salamon.
"Salamon shinka!" Shouted the two before glowing as they grew into two feline like shapes. One was pure white with blue eyes with two bladed gloves that was green with orange stripes on the front paws. "Gatomon" shouted the feline with a light purr.
The other was identical only black replaced white, amber replaced blue and purple replaced green. "Black gatomon" said the black feline.
"Ikuze minna" I said as we got ready to battle.
"Lightning paw" shouted the two feline digimon as their paws were covered in lightning and struck the infermon and I noticed that my xros loader had scanned a portion of it's data.
"Terroir tornado" shouted terroirmon becoming a green tornado that struck the infermon making it stumble.
"Poison ivy" said palmon binding the infermon and let hagurumon and machinedramon launch a darkness gear and giga missile respectively reducing the infermon to data. I sighed as the two feline digimon went over to me.
"Nice job you two" I said with a smile as both nodded at me.
"Same with you three" said Ami looking at her trio.
"Your now fledgling hackers though your very talented both of you" said 'yugo' then said if they ever wanted to be on a team look up zaxon.
"Sorry but me and Ami won't join your group. We rather get used to our new situation first" I said loading the two feline digimon in my loader making the locals surprised.
"Just who are you" asked 'yugo' with a look.
"The name is geo hikari, a human from another world. Before I woke up in this universe I was cosplaying as a videogame character when I bought a digimon figurine from a creepy merchant though the resemblance to Ami is slightly worrying" I said with a serious look.
"Wait your cosplayed as a male character version of me? There's a video game based around my life" asked Ami shocked.
"Kinda I think this universe is a au of the one I saw. But despite appearances it seems events are going the same. We better pick up Nokia I think agumon and gabumon are about to run into her by now. Also beware the green haired pony in orange and black. She's not to be trusted" I said walking to the previous area.
"Future knowledge right" asked Ami.
" Like I said so far events are going to be the same barring what else is different" I said making her nod.
"This made 'yugo' freeze as 'he' gave me a look.
I just grinned with a nod and mouthed to 'him' the name yuuko. The 'male' sighed but was thankful I was keeping it to myself. I would rather Ami find out for herself about the unicorn's true identity.
The two of us soon found Nokia with the orange dinosaur and a white and blue being slightly resembling a wolf. But the digimon ran off after spotting us. I approached Nokia with Ami.
"Come on Nokia Arata must have found a log out zone by now" I said making her run to us wanting to get out.
I led the way thanks to my knowledge of the game and suddenly we had a flash of six children. What was odd was that one of those kids resembled what I really looked like. Did this mean I knew these characters before the game was even created?
We eventually caught up to Arata who seemed to be wondering about that vision.
"Well better get ready guys we are going to have some unpleasant company in a bit. Arata get that point open while we hold off the enemy" I said giving him a look.
"Turns out geo is from another universe like that azure striker that is with the power ponies" said Ami.
"Gunvolt is here? Huh guess this place must have two types of ponies humanoids and non humanoids. I better speak with him later. Get ready because a virus is about to appear" I said pulling out my xros loader.
"Reload viximon, gatomonz" I said and with a slight tune all three of my partners appeared.
"By the way digimon can exist in the real world there are other versions connected to them where that happens my digivice is from one of those universes called a xros loader it allows me to store quite a lot of digimon and fuze more then two with a process called digixros where unlike DNA digivolution where two digimon combine and both control the body only one digimon is in actual control known as a base. My loader can actually hold a army if needed" I said looking at the spot where a eater would appear just as agumon and gabumon arrived.
Soon enough the seashell shaped portal appeared and formed a mass that reminded me of a snail crossed with a octopus. The eight digimon lined up ready to fight.
"We won't be able to damage that thing just distract it until Arata can unlock the log out port!" I said and the group nodded as viximon started to glow.
"Viximon shinka! Renamon!" Shouted the now humanoid yellow fox with purple arm guards now sounding older and I grinned.
"Let's show this thing just what we can do!" I said as my loader opened.
"Hagurumon! Renamon! Digixros!" I said.
"Renamon!" Said renamon as a emblem of two crescent moons with the tips touching forming a circle with red chains wrapped around them with a x in the center with a padlock in the middle appeared. My personal symbol.
"Hagurumon" said the gear like digimon with a circle with a x in the center appeared which must have been Ami's symbol appeared.
Both became beams of energy that collided.
A bright light shot off.
"Digixros" was heard as a red x was formed. Flying out was renamon with gearwork armor and holding a gear hilted sword.
"Gearenamon" said the xros digimon.
"Nice! Let's get to it" I said and the group of digimon got to work.
As they attacked making the thing confused and avoided it's attacks I heard Arata call for a retreat.
"Agumon, gabumon go with Nokia me and Ami will try to slow it down. Also afterwords Arata, Nokia head to the hospital I'm sorry to say but me and Ami won't be in our real bodies because of this thing. Don't worry we will eventually get our bodies back but it will take a while. Just go" I said and before they could get over there shock I tossed the two DNA digivolution partners to Nokia and got her to the log out zone and the two of us with me putting our partners in my xros loader ran for it only for our ankles to be caught just as we reached the zone.

Was heard and me and Ami soon found ourselves at a intersection but the both of us were currently looking like silhouettes of ourselves made of blue data screens. As a detective came to settle order a familiar car to me appeared.
"Get in" said a blond dragoness with ace to the kyoko I knew from the game and we did.
As she drove away I knew that detective date was going to be furious. As she drove we explained what happened.
"So you two are in a half digital state right now?" Said the detective I knew was partnered with alphamon of the royal knight digimon.
"Yep our real bodies are possibly being taken to the hospital by now. After we get to your office we are going to explain everything. By the way not to subtle on the alphamon thing this car has quite the resemblance to that digimon" I said.
"Says the guy from another universe" said Ami and I had the feeling she was rolling her currently nonexistent eyes at me.
"Just to warn you if I find a starmon with some digimon known as pickmon I can digixros them into a sword, a axe, and a throwing star. I'm pretty good with a sword" I said making her sigh knowing that for now her teasing won't be appreciated.
"Digixros?" Asked kyoko.
"I will give you the full story later but for now me and Ami need to head back to Coulomb and fix our current appearance. Our current state allows us to enter the network connections like streets and reappear in eden like through your TV set for example. This ability is called a connect jump. For now we are going to be cyber sleuths to solve every case involving digimon so we can learn more about our situation. Once our appearance is fixed I can give Ami her partners back. I can't see what im doing like this" I said looking at my hands which Ami nodded.
"Detective whooves will not be able to believe this" sighed kyoko.
"Is he your worlds version of the Doctor?" I asked confused.
"What" asked kyoko.
"Time traveler" I said.
We finally arrived at the agency and I led Ami to the client sofa and we explained our sides of the story. Ami told her about how she was chatting in a chatroom when a hacker told her and her friends to go to eden to pick up a gift, I told her about having gone to a convention when I bought a digimon figurine from a creepy merchant and ended up in this world last night and had ended up at eden where I met Ami and together we told the events from there until our appearance at the intersection.
"And that's pretty much it. Events seem to be following the video games from my world but with this worlds differences some things might not be exact but so far those I met seem to be the same despite appearances I'm going to not tell you future events as you got to figure them out yourselves. Which means I'm going to leave Ami to do most of this and only help out in a emergency like when more of that thing that did this to us appears. We also need to find Arata and Nokia to help out. Though that vision of six kids we had Ami has me thinking we met before once. I know Arata, Nokia, you, and two others have some connection I just didn't expect to see my younger self with them" I said wrapping up the explanation.
"Well guess things won't be dull" said kyoko with a chuckle.
"Well with that out of the way time to at least get our appearances fixed it's creepy not seeing ami's expressions no offense though" I said heading to the TV and raised my right arm creating the portal before getting sucked into it. Ami followed right behind.
