Brony Vs Anti-Bronies

I'm just sitting on my bed with the laptop on my lap looking at some new PMVs. I then start to think to myself about the troubles which I went through from being a brony.

It all started in 2014 in March when I though that I should let all of my closest and best friends know that I'm a brony just to let them know. To do this I wrote on a piece of paper "I am a brony, I watch MLP FIM" and handed the paper to my friends. Some were a bit judgmental and some were a bit supportive. However when I handed the piece of paper to my friend Kurt who was kind of my BFF at the time he started giggling to himself and then he gave it to someone who I didn't trust at all. Then they both started laughing at me and started shouting lesson that I'm a brony. It felt miserable and wherever I go I always got criticized about the show I watch. Then later that year they both did it again however this time it was much worse. After they all including the teacher found out they started throwing stuff at me and started teasing me. After the lesson was over I ran out of the classroom and sprinted back home with a face full of tears.

I snapped out of the emotional past and closed the laptop down. I had school tomorrow so I started packing up my books and equipment and went straight to bed. I woke up, ate, washed myself up, got dressed in my school uniform and it was 7:45 am so as always I got my headphones on and started walking to school. When I got to school I went to the back of one of the buildings and went on my phone. I had a background image of Rainbow Dash since she was my favorite pony in the show. As always I got there early. I could hear the bus which my friends go on so I stood up, hid my phone and started waiting for them. I heard a group of footsteps going around the building, it couldn't have been my friends so I got on edge wondering who is coming near me. I turned my head around and I got my phone back out just to double check the time and I then saw the group of people. They were holding cigarettes and kicking a football around so seem tough when in reality I knew they aren't that hard.

"Hey, what are you doing here so early?" one of the people in the group said.

"Nothing really, just waiting on someone" I responded

"Who? Ponies? hahahaha" They started laughing for no reason.

"Sure, didn't hear that one before" I said sarcastically.

"Why are you getting rude?" He walk up towards me and grabbed my phone straight out of my hands. "Ha nice background picture brony!"

He then threw the phone onto the floor. The screen cracked and it was horribly scratched. I picked it back up, stood up and pushed him away.

"Can you go bother someone else for a change?" I shouted at him

"What did you just say to me?" He said in a harsh voice.

He dropped his cigarette and kicked their football right into my face. I blocked my face if they tried to do it again but instantly I ran for it. I looked behind me and they were following me. I reach a fence which was blocking my path so I jumped up and climbed right up it. I cut myself fin the process but at least I was shielded away from them.

"If we see you again here we will beat you up for real!" they shouted from across the gate.

They walked away and I carried in running. I had to go back home just so I can avoid them. The first lesson just started I reach the general area of where my house is located. However before I could get into it I noticed my parents going out of the house. I hid behind a car so they wouldn't see me skipping school. They were carrying a handful of bag with them and then they drove of. I was really confused so I went inside of my house and I saw a letter on the table in the kitchen.

It said

"To Marcin, we are out for the next two weeks to help out your grandparents. You have the money to buy stuff for yourself and we transferred some more onto your bank account so you should have enough. Sorry this was is such a short notice but we had to rush out so hopefully you will be able to take care of yourself. From your mom and dad"

I straight away had a huge grin on my face. Two full weeks home alone? I get to do whatever I want for 2 weeks! I was exited in what I could do. I ran up stairs, chucked my bag under the table and though to myself about what should my plan for this month be. I was aware that I had to go to school at some point but because of the incident today I'm just going to skip a few days of school. I wasn't afraid of the exams either since I am a hard working student and I am responsible enough to buy somethings from the shops for myself. I relaxed on my bed and I looked around my room. I had MLP posters, plushies and other merchandise. I opened up my laptop and as always I went on the social websites like Twitter and Devianart. I also switched on some music for me to enjoy and I just tried to spend this day as fast as possible. 6 hours have passed and so I switched on my Skype and I had to see if one of my friends was online. He only one who was online was my friend Peter. I called him, got my headset on and was planning to ask him for any new homework which has been set today so I could still learn something. He responded to the call.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked to him to start a conversation

"Yeah I'm good, just finishing off watching these couple Youtube poops. How come you weren't in school today?" asked Peter

"Ummm... because of personal reasons... anyway for the next two weeks I'm going to be home alone"

I wanted to keeps the main reason a secret from everyone so I tried to change the subject a bit.

"And what will you be doing in those few weeks? Just watching MLP?" he joked around.

"....No" I lied "But if you want can you come over after school so we can do the homeworks together"

"Alright, whats your address?" he asked me

I told him my address and we ended the call abruptly, must have been either his internet or just me disconnecting the call I'm not really sure. We scheduled that he would come over tomorrow at 5 p.m for about two hours or so. It's 5 p.m now and so I got off my laptop, got dressed, picked up some money and started walking to Mcdonalds for the first lunch of being actually alone. As always I ordered two burgers, large fries and a coke. I sat down and chowed down. The building was pretty empty so I was able to get my food and sit down straight away. After I was finished with my food I went back home when the moon began to raise into the sky. I decided to do some cleaning when I come back home since it's kind of my guilty pleasure because it's so relaxing to me and I feel so accomplished when I cleaned up just the kitchen alone. After the whole cleaning montage I laid flat on my bed and turned off the lights. I then looked out of my window, stared at the moon and as always reflected on the day.

"Lets see... I cleaned the entire house and I kind of went to school..."

At that point I remembered the whole reason I got a day off today, because of bulling. I had no idea why people find it so weird that we like this kind of show that they bully us to this extent. At that point I saw a shooting star. I didn't believe in those stories about making wishes when that happens but I wanted to at least make this kind of change.

"I wish that for these couple of weeks I have some companions who would defend me from all of the bulling and drama I go through daily" I made the wish, closed my eyes and cleared my mind.

I woke up and I checked my phone for the time, it was 9 a.m so I got up and went downstairs for some breakfast. I made myself some sandwiches with strawberry jam. I sat down and ate them, they were so good. I checked out of the window while finishing off the dishes and I saw something rather colorful. I figured it was just a bird or a squirrel so I didn't pay much attention to it. I went back upstairs and I heard something running behind me. I was dead scared. Are there burglars in the house? I went into my room and I grabbed my old hiking stick to defend myself. I stood on my bed like a fearless knight and payed close attention to the door. It wasn't moving... until I relaxed my arms, then it began to open up slowly. I perked my ears up and all I could hear is just mumbling and random giggling. Why would burglars be laughing? Do they see my Rainbow Dash poster? I squinted my eyes shut and I heard the door slam open. I jumped off the bed and charged forwards and then I reopened my eyes and... are my eyes playing tricks on me? I saw six multicolored.... ponies... and a dragon.

"Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle... What's you're name?" Twilight asked me but I just couldn't respond.

All of the air in my lungs fully dried out. I didn't have any sort of words which I could spit out.

"Excuse me but why are you staring at me like that? I though you wanted some companionship..." Twilight including the whole gang looked at me confused. Then I remembered the wish I made last night. How did this happen though?

"Umm... hi? How did you all get into my house let alone into this universe?!" I was so confused and light headed from the reality being that the mane 6 are here in my house!

"Well Princess Luna got your message and we then got told by Princess Celestia that we should probably accompany you. So she then teleported us to your garden just outside" Twilight explained

I quickly realized that something was wrong. If they would have done that then they would be human instead of ponies. I decided to question them more about this subject later on.

"Well with you lot being here who is protecting Equestria?

"Well Discord the good friend that he is, lead us to believe that we should trust him to watch over Equestria with some guidance from Princess Celestia is needed" Fluttershy said cheerfully.

I could see that she was the only person... or pony who believed in Discord and to be honest I wouldn't believe in him either but I will still give him the benefit of the doubt. I tried to get my confidence to actually speak another word back up and got get the hold of the situation which I guess I brought upon myself.

"Well since you lot are technically guests lets go downstairs, have a seat and let's talk about certain things"

I tried to make this seem as normal as possible even though it really isn't. We walked and trotted downstairs and I could hear some bashing downstairs.

"Umm is that one of you seven? What's that noise?" I was afraid to ask

"No, it can't be us. Maybe there's someone else here?" Rarity gasped out

"Are we going to get hurt? I'll save you Rairty!" He said while wrapping his claws around Rarity's foreleg

I rolled my eyes at Spike's attempt to be the knight in shining armor. I was afraid to even peek through the door window but I got enough courage to do so. I saw nothing out of the ordinary so I opened the door wide open. All of us peaked inside and we quickly noticed that there were pots and pans all over the floor. I walked towards them while the mane six and Spike stayed back. As I got closer to the scattered dishes on the floor one large pot started to move around. I clenched my fist around the handle and lifted it up one bit at a time. I looked behind me and I could see Rainbow Dash staring at me and being inpatient. So in less than a second I lifted up the pot and there was a small orange body with purple hair being curled up into a ball under it. It slowly raised up it's head and I straight away recognized who it was.

"Scootaloo?" I said with a large confused smile on my face

I was then being pushed from all sides by the mane six and SPike to get a closer look at the young filly.

"Scootaloo? How did you get here? Didn't Applejack tell all of the CMC members to stay put back home?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed

"Sorry Rainbow Dash but after I just so happened to hear that you are all going into this new world I just had to tag along. So I watched and followed you lot from a distance. However when I got teleported here by Celestia's spell I got a bit dizzy since I never got teleported anywhere before. So I stumbled around and then I found a way inside this room and then I got a bit distracted. So can I please just accompany all of you, especially Rainbow Dash? I promise I won't get into any sort of trouble." Scootaloo explained herself.

"But I said that it would be too dangerous for y'all. Didn't y'all hear?" Applejack abruptly said

I didn't know what to think. Sure Scootaloo was being unrealistic with this situation but all she wants to do is just help out.

"I think she should stay and then all of you can question her when you go back to Equestria. I don't want any sort of drama in my house and I want to keep it what way." I said

We all agreed to that and we will sit down at the table to talk about certain things.

"Well first things first since you lot are staying here for the next two weeks I'm going to have to know all about your needs and what I have to help you lot with. Anyone has anything which they need?" I asked the whole group

"I don't think there is any sort of huge needs that we have but thanks for the concern anyways. We came prepared with food and other supplies" Twilight said

Of course she would have everything according to schedule.

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask this question for a while now but how come you are all ponies instead of human?" I asked curiously

"What are humans?" Scootaloo asked

"A human is my species. Like you are all ponies, I am human" I explained to Scootaloo

"I'm not totally sure on this but there could have been a problem with the teleportation spell with Celestia casted. The portal was made to get us ponies to your world and change our forms however Celestia even with all of her knowledge can't replicate the same effect which the portal does so she can only half of the job which is to teleport us here and not to change us into humans" Twilight explained

It made sense to me now. Since Celestia never even stepped hoof into my world how can she know the spell fully? Now that the question has been answered now I have to get on with the most serious topics.

"Well lets make this clear. If there are any problems which any of you have don't be intimidated of scared to talk to me about them. Just because I'm from a different world doesn't mean that I'm not capable of helping ponies" I told them like a leader

They all nodded their heads in agreement but this time Twilight Sparkle had something to ask me.

"So why did you need company? Sure your parents are out for the next two weeks but you look old enough to take care of yourself. Is there a problem which you want to get out of the way now?" Twilight asked me while staring me down with her confused eyes.

I didn't want to mention bronies to anypony because to them is would sound like they are fake... which they should and kind of are I guess. I just didn't want them to be concerned about me so I had to say the truth someway or another.

"Well the thing is... I get bullied for watching... I mean.... for being interested in... ponies"

"How can anyone be weirded out over that? It's perfectly normal" Applejack asked

"In your world it is however here if you are male... a.k.a a colt then it's not normal to talk or even like ponies because they think that it's weird and unnatural" I tried to explain.

"Who are they?" Rarity asked?

"Students... friends... anyone... They only question what you are doing on the outside instead of the inside" I explained

After saying the word friends and that I'm suggesting that even the people which I am the closest to bully me, makes me realize that anyone can be harsh over nothing... even your family and friends. A single tear drop fell from my eye. The gang looked at me with shock.

"Are you crying?" Fluttershy asked

I was trying to cover my tears up to not make the gang feel depressed also or to feel guilty.

"Yeah, but I'm fine... honest" I quickly recovered

The gang looked at me with supportive and cheerful face, trying to make me feel better. I really appreciated it but after these two weeks are over they will have to go and then no one will be able to support me. I tried to think about what else I should get over with straight away.

"I guess I should show you around the house then. Alright, follow me" I said while standing back up

I lead them firstly into the kitchen which was right next to the dining area which we were sitting in just now.

"Well this is my kitchen and dinning area. There is food and drinks in the shelves and just to warn you since you are all vegetarian, there is meats in the fridge and refrigerator so if you want something healthy and vegetarian then tell me and I'll try to find something for all of you" I said

Then after they all understood the whole concept of meat and how it's normal for human to eat it we moved on to the garden. I opened the door and I could already tell that Fluttershy will enjoy this place the most.

"Here's my garden where birds and squirrels often come over. Fluttershy if you want to communicate with them then go ahead but just stay ware of my neighbors, they can get quite noisy.

"I'll be careful as much as I can but this is the most amazing thing I've seen. I'll be here every single day" Fluttershy cheerfully stated

She was beaming with joy that even in my garden there is wild life. After we got done with going over the garden we came back inside my house and came into the living room.

"In here all of you are able to sit down, relax, listen to music or anything like that. Just make sure that you close the blinds before you come in because I don't want anyone finding out that there are ponies in the house"

"This place looks super fun! Wait what is that large thing?" Pinkie exclaimed

"Oh, that's called a TV. Don't worry about it, it's a machine which can show video or music" I explained

They all looked at me gasped. I could tell that none of them are going to even come close to the TV. Then we went upstairs were there were 3 bedrooms available.

"All of you will spend the nights in one of these rooms. OI hadn't decided whose going in which room but I'll tell all of you later" I explained

They all seemed to get the memo so I had nothing major to explain to them anymore. They all seemed pleased with the place but also a bit unsure of themselves if this is going to benefit them in some way so I had to come up with some kind of plan that will get us all comfortable about living together.

"Are you all sure that up want to stay here for the next two weeks? You seem a bit unsure about living here for that long..." I asked eagerly

"No, it's fine...  it's just that we aren't used to these kinds of places so I think once we live here for a couple days then it should get better" Twilight said

I took their word for it and went back downstairs with them. I then looked up at the clock. It was almost 5.00 p.m! I then remembered!

"S*it!" I exclaimed

"Such language!" Fluttershy lectured

"There are kids reading this!" Pinkie Pie strangely stated

Everypony stared strangely at Pinkie's weird fourth wall breaking ways.

"What?" Pinkie Pie asked

"Well anyway, my friend Peter is coming over to my house and he could be here any second now! He can't see all of you lot! He'd be weirded out!" I freaked out

Even though Peter is only half of a brony he still could flip out. We tried to make him a brony but for some reason he couldn't show that he liked it. He enjoyed some episodes but he didn't show it. It was like he didn't want to be associated with the fandom He could tell everyone in school about me living with ponies! I could be a laughing stock of the school... again!

"This isn't good in any way! Alright, I need all of you to hide over here" I said while pointing to one of the bedrooms.

"No one ever goes there so it should be alright for all of you to just hide in there until he leaves" I said cautiously

They made their way into the room and I closed them up. I went into my room and got properly dressed. I was ready. There was knocking on the door so I went downstairs and answered it.

"Hey Marcin! How are you doing?" Peter asked

"Fine... do you want to come in?" I asked nervously

"Sure... are you alright? You seem a bit... cautious" Peter said

"No, I'm fine. It's just that... I got nervous about... my parents. I was never home alone for this long before so I'm feeling a bit nervous for both of them and myself" I lied

"Okay then? Do you want to go up to your room and do the homework like you said?" Peter asked

"Sure..." I whispered

We both walked up the stairs with Peter looking at me like I needed to go through therapy. I was on the edge of my sanity. I was so scared that my bad luck will kick in. I tend to always be unlucky so I hoped and wished and preyed that this time bad luck will leave me alone. We went to my room and sat down by my table. Peter opened his bag and pulled out some pieces of homework paper. At that point in time I heard some rather quiet but still hearable trotting.

"Do you hear that? It sound like tap dancing or something" He said while standing up

"Don't worry about it, it's just the neighbors...probably. They're into Irish dancing" I said sheepishly

Peter still seemed unsure with my explanation and my behavior but he carried on explaining the homework. My plan was that when I come back to school I can give in the homework and I won't get in trouble. It seemed legit to me.  We carried on with finishing off the homework until he stood up.

"Sorry, I'm jut going to use the bathroom. Where is it?" Peter asked

"It's in that door over there next to the stairs" I said while pointing to the bathroom door

He went and while we was out I went over the room where I left everypony in. I opened the door and I've seen things which I never want to see again. The computer was on the floor, pen and pencils were scattered around everywhere and it was absolute chaos.

"What in the name if Celestia are you doing?!" I exclaimed

"Oh, sorry for the mess and all but we just wanted to see what...err this thingy is and what it does" Applejack explained

"That thingy is called a computer and it's super expensive! Please don't tell me that it's broken..." I said while looking at the screen

Thankfully it wasn't even cracked but the wires were still all tangled up.

"We can help with cleaning it up though" Scootaloo said

"No it's fine, I can handle it. Just please don't make a bigger mess for me to clean up" I said as nicely as possible

"That sound familiar to me..." Rarity said to herself

I then heard the door opening. I curled up in a ball and everypony was surrounded by me... it was all over.

"Wow Marcin, I didn't know that you had so much sham... ummm what are you doing?" Peter asked in a not so expected manor

"This isn't what is looks like! These ponies are nice! Please don't make fun of me!" i said while dropping onto my knees

I looked up and Peter was looking at me like he was about to burst out laughing

"What are you talking about? What ponies? Did the Season 5 episodes really get to you that much?" Peter asked

"Huh? You don't see anypony?" I asked

"Nope... why? Can you strangely see them?" Peter asked while picking me back up

"Umm nope... I don't see them aswell" I lied

It's weird though... how come he can't see them? Was I cursed or something? Or blessed even?

"Well let's finish off the remainder of the homework then..." I insisted

"Alright, but are you sure that you're OK? You seem really extreme... even more than usually" Peter asked

I didn't even feel like answering the question. I was still wondering why that happened.

"Actually I have something to say... I know that I did say that I want to become a brony and that I watched all of the episodes but in reality... I'm still not a brony and even though I do like it a bit I just want to become one properly so if you want... can we watch your favorite episode and we'll see if I want to become one?" Peter surprisingly said

I though my ears were playing tricks on me. Did Peter really just say that he wants to become a brony just like me?

"Yes! Let's do this. My favorite episode is "Tanks for the Memories" so let's watch that" I said while booting it up on my laptop

I was so surprised because I won't ever imagine him saying anything about watching MLP. However I hoped and knew that after these 30 minutes were over something was going to change for better or the worse.

After we finished the episode I closed down the credits and I put down the laptop. I looked over to Peter and just had a huge grin on his face

"Okay... I'm finally going to admit... I enjoyed that episode" Peter said truthfully

I had a large smile on my face.

"So does that mean that your finally OK with being a brony? I noticed that you were always trying to hide the fact that you enjoyed some of the episodes and that made me feel bad... so are you finally going to say what you feel or keep on lying to yourself and others?" I asked seriously

"Well... fine I'm a brony but can I still keep it from the other people?" He asked

"Yeah you can, but don't hide it from the people which you trust K?" I said

"Fine, but that was a good epis...WHAT ARE THOSE?!" Peter exclaimed

I looked over and saw everypony gathering around the door. The I realized...

"Can you finally see them?" I said excitingly

"What are these ponies doing in your house?! Are they what you were talking about earlier?! What's going on?!" Peter started flipping out

I then explained carefully the situation and Peter started to get more and more conferrable with the idea of ponies living at my house for the 2 weeks. In the mean time I also explained to everypony about the show and bronies so they won't be confused by it later on.

"So let me get this straight... you are going to be living with ponies for the few weeks that your parents are out" Peter said

"And we are from a show for girls but have been so successful that males a.k.a colts are watching it aswell and they are called bronies?" Rainbow Dash said

"Precisely" I stated

"That is awesome!" Both Rainbow Dash and Peter shouted

"Wait.. both of you lot are OK with this?" I questioned

"You're living with fictional character in real life!" Peter alliterated

"And we are so awesome that we have a lot of people loving us! Of course that's great" Rainbow Dash shouted out

I was pleased to hear that everyone is OK with the current situation in hand... or hoof. We all spent some time getting to know each-other and eventually Peter had to go home. We all gave a brohoof and we departed our ways. I made everypony something to eat and that gave me some time to figure out who's sleeping with who and where. After I made my mind up we made our way upstairs and  I told everypony where they are sleeping and with who.

"After some thinking I think that Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo will be sleeping in this room right here" I stated

I could see Scootaloo's excitement straight away to be with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy is able to calm down Scootaloo down if anything goes down.

"Next up is Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Spike who are going to be sleeping in this room over there" I stated

I knew that Spike would be disappointed that he isn't with Rarity but I thought that would be for the best. Also Pinkie Pie and Applejack are pretty close as friends s I think that this group will work well together. Also Rarity wouldn't be able to spend every night with either Applejack or Rainbow Dash for what I've seen from the show.

"And Twilight and Rarity are sleeping with me in my room right over here" I said

I could have been with Rainbow Dash who is my favorite character Twilight is really caring and Rarity would be nice company.

"I hope you are all happy with the groups and rooms and I hope to see all of you tomorrow" I said while yawning loudly

"I'm super duper exited to be sharing  room with Spike and Applejack" Pinkie said excitingly

"I am glad that I get to share a room with Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. We will have so much fun together" Fluttershy said

The beds were already neat and tidied up in every room.

"Alright then. Good night then every pony" I said while getting to bed

"Good night" Everypony said

"Sweet dreams" Fluttershy said quietly

Twilight closed the door and turned off the lights. I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep. I could already hear ponies and a dragon snoring... I think these next two weeks will be just fine.
