'Days upon days have racked up since I last saw him.' The teenager said as he was laying on bed in megaton, it looked as if he was drinking, bottles of vodka and whiskey laying on the floor that obviously looked like they were consumed recently, upon getting up from the bed, the boy had black unkempt hair that reached his shoulders, bright blue eyes, a handsome Asian figure that looked slender and meek but he was athletic, he had determination, willpower and skill to back all that up and became one with undying reputation.
The boy was often called 'Vault Dweller' or 'Lone Wanderer' by many settlers and Three-Dog, even if that guy was a little annoying, however he always likes to call himself: Sion.
He didn't really find his real name intimidating to raiders and other scumbags out there in the wastes, so he settled with an alias to make himself feel better.
A few minutes after wallowing in depression and the hangover from his over-the-top binging, his robo-butler Wadsworth came in. "Ah, young master! Do you need another beverage?" The robot talks to the drunk boy on the bed. "Perhaps you want me to press and iron your vault-suit?"
Sion looked over at the Armoured Vault 101 suit that Moira Brown gave him for helping with the Wasteland Survival Guide, it had seen better days as it had many bullet holes, plasma burns and even explosive marks, each time he thought about how he became this lucky on surviving death on many occasions actually made him feel worse, his dad dying after following that damn dream... 'No, it wasn't the dream that killed him, Fucking Enclave... If only they kept their grubby hands away from humanity and their struggles.'
He shook his head, big mistake as he felt pain. "It's okay, Wadsworth, but I would like some water, if you please, and some Med-x."
The bot happily answered. "Certainly sir! Here you are!" The bot hands him the bottle of water to which he grabbed with much gusto, opening the bottle and downing it's contents again, with gusto. Despite being destroyed, he still had awareness and good co-ordination.
Getting some Med-X and a clean syringe, he sticks it into his neck and injects the contents. "What did they use to make this stuff again? Morphine, wasn't it?" He said to no one in particular
He decided to get his armour and changed, Wadsworth just floated off to do house work, or whatever weird robo-butlers do.
After getting changed, he turns the radio on and went to the bathroom, it was maintained, but he did prefer the comfort of Vault 101.

'Hmm, an appropriate song...' He thinks to himself.
Okay, the crazy overseer and his over-dramatic daughter are something to consider staying away from, Sion did care for Amata, very much so! She was his childhood and best friend, but damn does he HATE her attitude sometimes.
"Shit, I miss her now that I think about it..." Sion said to himself as he looked at himself at the mirror, the unkempt and spiked black hair, the pale skin tone that won't bronze no matter how much he soaked himself in natural sunny radiation.
'Speaking of companions, being alone isn't helping my mental state one bit.' He said as he began to contemplate asking around for anyone to travel the wastes with, but the boy knew that it's hard to get that said companionship.
He sighs and drinks his water, it tastes like aired out water, but at least it isn't damaging his guts and causing internal bleeding like that dirty water he had when he first came out to the wastes, but out of any beverage, Nuka Cola was the best.
How a soda could survive 200 years and still taste good is beyond him.
He would never dare taste the Quantum variant, he heard many unsavory rumors about the dangers of that isotope.
Speaking of Nuka Cola... Sion licks his lips, feeling parched from the excessive binge drinking last night.
He opened the Nuka-Cola fridge and got a bottle, using the pip-boy as a bottle opener. "Man, I love this thing..." he said and chugged the soda down, the ice-cold contents and the caffeine helping his head a bit more.
He no longer felt like shit, but he was still depressed. Sighing to himself, he got put the empty bottle in the home-made garbage can and went downstairs. "Wadsworth, I'm heading to the Super-Duper Mart for Moira, I'll be back in a bit."
Wadsworth had the same giddy attitude. "Certainly, sir! And the ... Preachers you kept mentioning about?"
He looks at Wadsworth. "Tell them I'm doing important work, and tell them NOT to follow me, I don't want another 'Danny' incident." to which the robotic butler just replied. "Of course, do be careful!"
Sion just smiled. "Also, sorry for worrying you buddy, I was just...."
Wadsworth puts his robo-claw on his armoured shoulder pad. "Don't be sorry, you lost someone VERY dear to you... And you have every right to be upset, it's only human after all sir."
The boy smiled a bit and laughs. "You know how to cheer a guy up, those jokes helped last night." He said as he headed out. "Well, see ya friend."
Wadsworth chuckled. "Have a wonderful day sir, or... However wonderful as one gets in this day and age."
He nods and shuts the door behind him and then slaps himself in the face. "Alright, time to head out."
In Ponyville, one young Twilight Sparkle recently obtained Princesshood, and she was ... Lost.
She had NO idea what happened to the spell, but one thing was for certain, she's in what seems to be a super market, it looked run down and it seemed to have been abandoned.
"What the fuck was that?!" A gruff male voice was heard, and she got a bit spooked. 'Maybe I thought too soon." She looked around for a place to hide and she saw the perfect spot, the bathrooms.
Sadly as she entered, she saw one of the creatures in said bathrooms, staring right at her. 'Wh-what?!' She froze as she looks at the Raider who was completely blown away, he looked at his jet inhaler and just threw it in the trash. "...Now I'm seeing fuckin' unicorns with wings..." He walks past the pony without acknowledging her, mistaking Twilight as a figment of the Jet.
How she got away with that she has no idea, but she took it and hid in one of the stalls.
With the surge of adrenaline lowering, she could smell the area around her. It was disgusting, the smell of copper and rotting was filling her nostrils, almost close to making her gag.
But while she was safe for now, she began thinking. 'Bipedal creatures? Warriors? Just what did I get myself into?' She thought to herself.
She could then hear two of those creatures talking.
"Did you hear that, Brock? I think someone snuck in here." A feminine one said while the other assumed 'Brock' just laughed. "Didn't hear shit, probably just hearing me inhale some Jet, I did see a fucking unicorn with wings though, probably just a side effect of the damn thing."
The female laughed. "Figured it was you, you need to give that shit a rest, it's already damaging your brain little as it is."
'Brock' gave a mocking tone. "Well fuck you too."
The female just busted a gut.
Some shooting was in the distance from the mart and various other noises Twilight couldn't make out, the sounds made her flinch.
"What the fuck was that?!" One of them shouted and 'Brock' followed suit. "That sounded like a god damn Chinese Assault Rifle, that couldn't be Lucas Simms, we made a fucking deal."
"The others'll take care of whatever's out there, don't worry... See? It's already quiet."
Twilight wanted to leave and never come back to this place, wait for a chance to recuperate and get back home.
The doors sounded like they were burst open around the entrance way, this made her flinch again and cover herself with her wings.
The raiders shouted out. "IT'S THAT VAULT KID!" Gunfire was heard really close, Twilight just covered her ears and whimpered, hoping that it ended soon.
Unable to hear more gunshots, she stopped covering her ears and began crying.
Twilight ended up hearing hoofsteps and started to quiet up as her life depended on it, she closed her eyes and waited for her demise.
The stall door bursts open with a tip of some blade pointing at her. "!!"
Meet up and Confrontation
Sion was heading over to the Super Duper Mart's entrance, with his trusty assault rifle, it could take down an entire troop of Enclave soldiers in a matter of seconds if he positioned himself right.
He took the corner and immediately hid behind the corner again, seeing multiple raiders. "...God damn it..." He said to himself quietly and readied his gun, taking a deep breath, he began unloading on the unsuspecting raider crew.
Managing to pull off headshots, he was saving himself precious ammo, shooting down the three raiders with ease.
He looked around and began hurrying to the entrance of the Mart, seeing the rundown Nuka Cola machine, he looked over it and smiled. "I'll come back for ya, baby." He then began taking ammo from the corpses of the raiders and began reloading his gun back to a full magazine, knowing one was already in the chamber, he didn't need to pull.
Sion quickly got ready to breach, he grins as he was gonna give them a big surprise, C4.
He plants the charge on the door and got behind the Nuka Machine, he clicked the charge and then a large blast managed to destroy BOTH the doors, after the way was cleared, Sion bursts through and began mowing down the raiders.
Sure, it was a bloody battle, and since it was not in Sion's nature to kill, he made a pledge to himself to kill ALL the scumbag raiders he can find, that and the Enclave.
The onslaught was over and the mart was full of newly deceased raider corpses, he sighed in utter relief as he can take a quick break, but then he began to hear something. "Crying?..." Sion said to himself as he readied his gun and began to make his way to the source of the sound.
Unsheathing his Combat Knife and slinging his rifle, he walks slowly to the stall of where the crying was, abruptly stopping. 'Guess there's no sense of being silent anymore, she heard me...' He then bursts the door open and pointed his blade at the horse-- 'Wait, what...?' He thought to himself as he saw the thing cower in fear from the blade's intimidating menace.
Sion just puts his hands up and walks backwards, afraid that he scared the poor thing. "!.." On the outside, he looked like he was calm, but on the inside...
'Holy fucking shit, there is a unicorn with wings right fucking here! First contact and I fucking scared the critter! Oh my god, what have I done?!' He was freaking out on the inside.
He sheathed his blade and got on one knee. "H-here, I-I'm so sorry I..."
The lavender looking creature just looked like she was shaken up. "P-please... Don't hurt me." She manages to speak out.
'... And she talks...' He thought to himself as he held his hand out to the shaking creature. "Here, I'm not gonna hurt you... My name is Sion... What's your name?" He said gently, breaking the ice.
She looked a little less calmed down, but she was still skeptical it seems. "T-Twilight... Sparkle... PRINCESS Twilight Sparkle..."
Sion just blinked a bit and clears his throat. "Y-yes ma'am..." He then thinks once more. 'Progress... Wait, *PRINCESS***?' He just looked very confused and scratched the back of his head. "Look, did those scumbags do anything to you?" He said visibly concerned.
Twilight blinks a bit and gulps. "...No... I just managed to get here... I don't really remember how, but..." She was looking at Sion who was in deep thought once more.
'Alright, now's not the time for 20 questions, I'll take her with me for now.' He then smiles. "Alright, I bet you have a lot of questions then... If that's the case, why don't you come with me and I'll help you?"
Twilight just blinked a bit, she was still a bit unsure... But seeing as he didn't do anything to her yet, she placed his trust into him... FOR NOW. "O-okay..."
Sion got up and scratched his head again, he signals her to follow him and began to look over the Mart from top to bottom. "Let's find some food and medical supplies."
Twilight softly trots next to him. "Okay..." She was keeping an eye on his movement, to see if he was going to do something, but she couldn't sense anything from the boy.
There wasn't any malice to be felt, no ulterior motive, why was he helping her?
'I hate karma, but it's fair, I guess.' Sion said to himself internally as he was actually shitting himself. 'How did this even happen? How do I take care of her? Horses eat fruit and vegetables, right?'
Sion looked at the counter and vaulted over it, seeing a door and a terminal right beside it, he cracked his fingers a bit.
Twilight visibly cringed at the sound, Sion noticed this and looked sheepish. "Oh... Heh.. Sorry... Force of habit." He then looked at the terminal and began typing stuff down.
Twilight was amazed at the contraption, she got a notepad and quill from thin air nowhere and began writing some things down.
Sion looked at this and shook his head, this was probably normal where she came from, he continued to type down a storm and eventually the door lock clicked and opened, he grinned to himself and began chuckling, opening the door for her. "After you."
Twilight blushed a bit of embarrassment, putting the notepad and quill away, she trots inside.
Sion followed and shut the door behind him, he followed her inside and noticed she was already inspecting the fridge, medicine and crates of Nuka Cola and a ... He shivered... A quantum Nuka. "Horses drink soda, right?"
Twilight stopped what she was doing and corrected him. "Ponies."
He tilted his head. "Oh.. Okay." He then returns his head's position to normal. "Sorry, Pony?"
Twilight nods. "We do, I never had any personally but... I knew a few who could." She felt sad about that, Sion saw this and began to cringe a tad. "...Here, let's take a break..." He said as he saw a carton of Dandy Boy Apples. "!" He smiles and grabs it. "Here." He hands her the carton.
She looks at it skeptically and took it. "A-pp-les? OH, Apples, right." She looked sheepish on that one. "..." She managed to open the box and took out a few dried up looking apples slices. "Hmm." She shrugged and bit down on them, they did tasted like apples, but they had some sort of cinnamon-like flavor to them.
"They've been specially preserved to never spoil, in fact most foods here are non-perishable." Sion said as he opens a bottle of Nuka Cola and passes it to Twilight. "Here... You may need to down that..."
Twilight took the bottle with her magical aura, to which Sion blinked at, she was eating and drinking happily without a care in the world.
Sion snickers a bit and opened up a Quantum by mistake and chugged it without looking, the minute he opened his eyes, he was in for a shock. "!.."
Twilight looks over at him and tilts her head to the side. "You alright?"
Sion sighed internally and just swallowed. "Nope, gonna be having glow in the dark pee for the next 12 hours..."
The princess just deadpanned. "Excuse me?"
He looked at Twilight and blushed. "Oh, well... There's a side effect to this kind of Cola... It's made of an isotope to give it that 'Nuclear Kick'... The taste is good, but the dangers aren't worth it."
She tilts her head. "Then, why drink it?"
Sion looked sheepish. "...I didn't know it was a quantum till I opened my eyes."
She thought about it and then got her notepad and quill once more. "...I'm running out of ink... Darn it..."
Sion looks at her and thinks. "Why not get a pen?" He questions, Twilight then looking at him. "Pen...? What's a pen?"
He just slapped himself on the face mentally and sighs, he looks around in his inventory bag and got a custom working pen that he had when he was last in the vault. "Here... You can use this to write."
Twilight smiled. "Really? Thank you!" She took it with gusto and began writing down a few things, she got used to it extremely quickly and jotted down notes.
Sion smiled a bit and noticed that his belly was glowing. "Huh? Oh crap, if there are any more raiders around the area, I might get seen easily..."
Twilight looked worried, but kept jotting down notes. "...You're an interesting creature, Sion... Say, what IS your species?"
Sion thought no harm to that. "I am a human, or rather... A Homo-Sapien... We're like some kind of evolved ape, except we're heavily civilized and our intelligence is more... REFINED, in a sense."
Twilight nods. "I guess that makes sense... If we were back in my lab, I would do all kind of experiments..."
Sion returned the deadpan.
Twilight sheepishly laughs. "For science, of course!"
Sion then just grins and began ruffling her mane a bit. "Hey, if this place you're from is better than this hellhole, I'd gladly be your experiment for some kind of normalcy."
She didn't think she'd like the ruffling, but... 'Oh my Celestia... Those... Claws of his..." She was getting a bit too into it.
Sion out of instinct ended up petting her a bit, it got... Soothing, like some sort of companion. "... I'll protect you..." He said in a mumble, but Twilight heard it and looked at him. "Huh?"
He just got up to change the subject. "! anyways, let's grab everything we can and head home, I bet you need some shelter, and a better smelling location, eh?" He said with a smile.
Twilight nodded in agreement.
He puts the bag on the floor in the middle. "Whatever you find, put it in there."
Twilight looked at it. "It doesn't look that big though." As she said this Sion just laughed. "Don't worry about that... I don't exactly know how but it can fit a LOT of things... Don't question it enough, it's vault-tec gear... I'll answer it when we get back." He began packing up a lot of meds and food, spotting even some ammo boxes and took them also.
"Shouldn't we leave them for everypony?" Twilight said as she looks at him.
Sion chuckles. "Everypony? Well yes, that would be wise... But this place is too corrupted by raiders... Most of the stuff here is stolen anyways, we're scavenging these items for honest folk in a nearby settlement, and they'll put some good use to them."
Twilight thought. "But, we're stealing from 'raiders' doesn't that make us bad as them?"
Sion shook his head. "I was once like you who thought about that, but truth be told... It's better for us to take them... These people are bad news, and giving them supplies will cause more raids and invasions... They are scum of the earth... Even scourges."
Twilight frowned. "They're really that bad?"
He nods. "Terribly so... They murder people, pillage settlements, they take people hostage for caps, torture said hostages, if it's a woman hostage, they'll toy and rape the hostage before selling her off back to her people... But around this area, that's the best possible outcome in comparison outside of D.C."
Twilight's muzzle had a lot of emotion to these words he spoke of: Sadness... Pity... Confusion... But there was also a new one she never thought she'd have... Rage... Utter rage. "What.. Exactly do you mean best possible outcome?"
"...Slavery... In my honest opinion, it's a worse fate than death." He said to her as he had a serious look on his face. "Twilight, I have a proposition for you, and I hope you take it personally... But don't trust people, unless they are someone I know, be wise to assume they are a threat unless they prove themselves to be civil.. And you rarely get that in the wasteland."
Twilight then made a valid point for her safety. "Then how come I can trust you?"
He then smiles. "Easy, for two reasons... 1: You would of already been impaled by my knife if I was evil... And 2: I made a promise to my dad to make him proud of me."
Twilight blinks. "...Proud?"
Sion smiles. "To stop getting into unnecessary fights, to do good in the world... And be kind to any person, or in your case: Pony." He grins a bit.
Twilight once again could not sense any malice nor any hatred that the other 'hoo-mans' have, he was so ... Genuine. "Okay, I trust you."
Sion smiles and nods. "Good.." He grabs the bag and puts it around his shoulder. "Now, lets get outta--"
"We're back, now open up the--... Hang on... Somethin' ain't right here..." was played over the intercom, alerting both Sion and Twilight to probably another fight on their hands and hooves.
Sion got into hiding quickly as he sneaks to the counter, getting a scoped hunting rifle out of his bag, Twilight was amazed something so big can fit in there.
He gently got up and sets the rifle on the counter, looking down the scope, after getting a clear shot, he pulls the trigger and one of the raiders' heads exploded into chunks.
Twilight witnessed the event unfold and her colour immediately paled, she didn't want to lose any of what she digested not long ago though, so she just toughed it out... As toughing out can get.
The raiders were hiding, some were dumb enough to poke their heads out and he got a clear shot on them. "Hmph, too easy..."
Twilight saw one of them sneaking up on him, with a big gun and a big grin, she had to warn Sion some how. "...No..."
Sion however knew that one of them was close by due to the reflection of the pipboy, he unsheathed his knife and grins.
Twilight then yelled. "SION!!!"
The raider got spooked. "Wha--"
Sion impaled his blade into the chest of the raider with his slick and speedy moves, and within seconds... The raider died with the same expression of shock.
Sion took the shotgun from the Raider's hands. "...Thanks for the gift, asshole." He said as he then took the shells from the body. "Only 8?... Fucking cheapskate." He then got up. "Twi, let's--" He then got shot in the shoulder. "AGH!"
Twilight. "! Sion!"
He had to dive out of the way and land on his good shoulder, the wound wasn't that bad, it looked like a 10mm round, it was a clean shot. "Okay, good.."
Twilight panicked. "G-Good!? NOT GOOD, You're bleeding!"
Sion smiles. "Don't worry bout it..." He said as he got a stimpack from his side satchel and injected it into his bad arm, over time the lost blood and wound began recuperating and sealing up into a 'hyper-heal' stage.
Twilight was shocked. "Remarkable... This is amazing... Damnable... But amazing!"
Sion then got the shotgun he took from the raider earlier and began holding it. "Twilight, go hide, I got this."
Twilight looked worried, but did as he said, she galloped into the room they scavenged from before.
A few moments later a large blast was heard and she came galloping back.
As he said, he was completely fine, and to top it all off, they killed EVERY raider in this place, he sighs and looks at Twilight. "Come on, let's get home..."
Twilight ignored the body before her and followed Sion close to the exit.
As they exit the building, it was already night time. "...Huh, didn't realize I slept that long... Oh well..."
Twilight looked over the barren wastes, it was full of... nothingness other than buildings and destroyed structures... Everything was ghostly, Tartarus is tame compared to this. "...How... did you survive all of this?"
Sion thinks to himself. "...It's complete and utter hell, but... Well, this is sadly home..." He said as he got a crowbar and forced the Nuka Machine open, a few glass bottles were inside and it seemed that the machine was still powered, albeit only a little bit.
He grabbed the remaining bottles of the machine. "Found my Nuka fix for this week... Also, something to mention, D.C. wasn't always like this..."
Twilight nodded. "You mentioned D.C., what does that mean?"
He thinks. "History books told us that D.C. stood for District of Columbia, but if that is a little confusing, just called it Washington." He then looks at her. "Let's save most of the questions till we get to Megaton."
Twilight nods and looked around one final time before following Sion back to Megaton.
She can already tell that this is going to be even worse than Tartarus...
