"So what does it do?" Pinkie asked herself. She wished that she would of asked the old colt or he would of left instructions of some kind. She analyzed it closely then she noticed that it could be opened, like a locket. Pinkie tried to open but it wouldn't budge. She tried prying it open with a flat head screwdriver, it still didn't open, "Maybe it keeps the sins in here?" Pinkie thought for a bit, "No way all 7 of them could fit, it's so small," she laughed a little thinking that the colt was crazy, "Right?" She needed help, she needed answers, she thought maybe Twilight could help, she's smart and most likely has some kind of book. Pinkie put the necklace back around her neck, took the bag and headed to see her dear friend.
Pinkie knocked at Twilight's door, hoping that she can help. Twilight answered a few minutes after, "Oh, hi Pinkie Pie," she greeted with glee, "Hi, Twilight, can you help me with something important?" Pinkie asked, Twilight replied "Of course, is it new theme for a party? Or maybe new cake flavors? Or-" "Actually, it's not party related," Pinkie interrupted and pointed at the necklace, "I need help with this," Twilight looked at the necklace and got confused, "A worn out pendent? If you need help with stuff like that then ask Rarity," Twilight suggested, "Its not just a pendent, an old colt gave it to me, saying that it's used to hold souls that sinned. He also left his bag right outside the shop," Pinkie said as she showed Twilight the bag. Twilight thought for a second and invited Pinkie inside,"May I see the bag, please?" Twilight asked, Pinkie hands Twi the bag and she looks through. There really isn't much in it, all there are is a rotten apple, which Twilight threw away, and a leather journal with a pentagram symbol carved into it, "Maybe this can be helpful," she said as she opened it. She started to read it, "Well? Is there anything in there?" Pinkie asked, Twilight read it and found something, "There's a map," she said while showing Pinkie, she took the journal and analyzed it, "It labels where the demons might be," Twilight explained, "Are you sure you want to do this? It could be dangerous, you might even get killed!" She said with lots of concern, "I'm sure, I told that old colt I would," Pinkiw replied. Twilight nodded and handed her friend the bag, "You should probably pack some things before you make your journey, even a couple weapons," she said, Pinkie agreed, hugged Twi and left to heads back to her home.
Pinkie started packing, "Okay, so I got 2 apples, a lantern, lantern oil, the journal and the nacklace. What am I gonna use for weapons?" She asked herself, she looked around her room seeing if anything can be used as self defense. Pinkie thought that her party canon could be used as a weapon but she needs to carry light. She puts the canon away and goes down stairs into the kitchen, "Maybe this could help," she said as she picked up one of the bread knives, she kept on looking around to find anything else. She found rat poison that can be rubbed on to the knife. Pinkie is all set for the journey, she writes a note for the Cakes, leaves out lots of food for her alliagtor, Gummy, and makes her way out of town.

"Pinkie, can you help me with extra cake?" Mrs. Cake asked the pink pony, she galdy said yes and helped. After wards, in the afternoon, Pinkie was about to close the shop until an old colt walks in, "I'm sorry, mister, but we'er closed," Pinkie said to the colt, who sat himself at one of the tables. Pinkie thought that it was okay to serve one more customer. She asked him what she could get him, "Some sweet apple cider, please," the colt asked politely, she got him what he ordered, "I've never see you around here before, you new in Ponyville?" Pinkie asked,"Yes, but I'm just passing by," the colt said as he drank the cider, "Until someone can finish my quest," Pinkie is now interested, "Quest? What kind of quest?" She asked, he took out a golden necklace that looked worn, as if the gold was fake, "A necklace?" Pinkie was confused, "Not just any necklace, this pendent was made to hold souls, souls who have sinned," the colt explained, "For years, I've been traveling Equestria, no the world for the 7 deadly sins," Pinkie was amazed, "What are these sins?" She asked, "Lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and finally pride. These sins are extremely evil and must be imprisoned, I haven't collected one and don't have that much time to live," the colt finished, he did look old and might die at anytime, Pinkie thought long and hard, "I'll do it, I will finish your quest," she said, he finished his cider, walks over to Pinkie and puts the necklace around her neck, "Thank you and good luck," the colt said as her put and bit on the table and walked out of the shop. Pinkie stared at the necklace, she realized that she has no idea where they can be so runs toward the door to the colt who is outside, "Hey! Where do I-" Pinkie stopped talking where all was left of the colt was his bag, she looked around to see if he was around but he completely vanished. Pinkie picks up the bag and brings is inside, she closes the shop and heads to her room.
