Scorched

Snoring coming from the den you're in and it's a little white dragon making it. And as the suns scarlet rays start coming through the leaves of the tree. You wake up and yawned. You look around and realize you are not at your house where are you and why are you in a look like bird nest. You feel a bit hungry so you start to look around for food. Scavenging around for food there must be some somewhere. When you find none you sigh. Your belly grumbles you decide to step outside. Taking in the fresh smell. Only to immediately find yourself falling. You hit the ground with a thud. that was painful you think to yourself but you groan and pick a direction and start walking this place is very dark while walking you find a pool of water. You decide to drink even if you're not that thirsty. When you look down to take a drink you scream thinking a monster is behind you. But when you turn around you don't see it. So the reflection must be yourself but how did you become a monster.

You decide to look again in the pool and find the same monster. You seem like a white lizard with little golden streaks across your back. You have big wings at your shoulder blades. So you think you look like a baby dragon and for the first time you realize you have claws instead of hands. But you have nerves of steel will of iron you won't cry that your mom isn't here. You're going to soldier on so you go that direction you picked.

                           [Half an hour later]

You hear howling and yelping realizing there are wolves in this forest you start running you are terrified your limbs sore from the walking. We'll crap what to do bout that. Then you see the wolf which is very peculiar it has a wooden armor-like skin and green scary eyes. You look forward again just in time to see a tree coming at you. So you dodge it angry at yourself for not paying attention. But you trip and fall hearing a sickening cracking noise. But those nerves of steel won't stop you from crying now knowing you're life is over but you are so young.  the wolf is slowly walking towards you. It seem to be laughing if a wolf could laugh. As it gets closer you feel a feeling in you're gut building up. And suddenly you release a giant stream of fire. Yep definitely a dragon. The wolf runs off yowling in pain. You smirk can't get me stupid wolf. But as you try to stand up your left leg emits a searing pain and you fall down tearing up. When you stop crying you decide to crawl instead of walk. Which feels much more natural than walking. Thank all the gods of the earth you finally are out of the forest. So you decide to look around

You see a little horse that's yellow with a pink mane and it has wings. It's crying you wonder why horses can cry so you walk up to and say. Why are you crying little horse.

I'm a pony not a horse it says. Not even looking up so you gently lay a leathery white wing around it when it looks up she gasps and almost screams. But you put your claw around her muzzle. As she tries to struggle to get out of your grasp you try to calm her. And she finally realizes your not going to hurt her she calms down

What are you doing near a dangerous forest little pony. You say to her

She looks at you guiltily and says. I was exploring when I saw a dead little squirrel and started crying.

We'll thats reason enough to cry. You said. But you don't have to cry anymore I will protect you from those creatures. She stops crying and says why are you helping me. Well I don't want to see a crying little filly near the edge of a dangerous forest. You say. Also where are your parents they must be worried she tells you and you guide her home. And when you realize her parents might not like a carnivorous dragon near their daughter. So you start walking away and are exploring around the area you see the forest near where you are standing. Cringing when you forgot about your leg it is really painful so when you cringe you decide to find some medical supplies. So you start walking to a nearby doctors area you realize that a dragon might not be very welcome in a hospital you wish you could be a pony right now so you can walk right in. But a pony walks by and gasps. What's wrong little colt you need a doctor you look at her bewildered. You think why the heck I don't even look like a... And you look at your dragon paw and realize it's not a paw. It's a hoof like the yellow filly's. But it's white like your dragons now you are confused. So you ask for a mirror and look at yourself. You look unusual you're a white colt with a white mane and gold streaks are across you're back. And then you set you're back left hoof on the ground only to blackout from pain when something slams into it.

You finally wake up and find that pony there and a little brown Pegasus you roll over to try to get off the bed. When a hoof stops you and the pony says you shouldn't try to walk for a while. What attacked me you asked. The pony chuckles and says it's this here colt he calls the colt over and it walks over to say its apology. But you say it's alright I'm a tough colt I've been through worse. Speaking of which the older pony says. How did you get that broken leg. I'll tell ya the truth but you won't believe me. He snorts and says only if it's fake. So you tell him the story of waking up as a dragon and the wooden wolves. He says that's some story foal but what's the real story. You groan and say told you ya wouldn't believe me. We'll how would a foal like you actually be a baby dragon that beat a timber wolf. You decide to make up a believable story rather than argue so you sai I was scootering around when I hit a bump and went flying and landed on my leg. With that you went asleep

[weeks of recovering later]

You wake up thinking about if you should try to use your leg to see that it's not stiff and sore anymore. And to your surprise it's not painful or stiff and sore so you decide to walk away back to your forest might not be safe but it's fun.

as you enter the forest again some foolish idea. A black stone starts to surround you. And pull you into the earth and then blackness, nothingness, emptiness.
