Hello everypony this is my first story. Hope you all like it. I will have an edited version out soon.

Lets start from the beginging

Luna P.O.V
To under stand this story lets start from the beginning of when I fell in love with my best friend. "Hurry up Luna" a high pitched male voice called. This was the voice of my best friend Shadow Knight. When we first met I thought he was a dork. He was no taller then me but we were just foals. Now was the son of a prince that was my fathers best friend. His father's kingdom was destroyed by rebels my father said that they could stay with us after they came to us for help. Shadow looked nothing like his parents . He had a black mane with blue streaks his fur was the color as ashes and his eyes were light blue. Anyway back to the story.

"Coming" I called back.

"What took u so long" he asked.

"You would like to know that wouldn't you" I said not to be mean but he didn't need to know.

" Yes I would" he said very smartly.

" So "

"I'm not telling you".

"Why not Lulu " he asked just to get on my nerves.

"Because it's secret and don't call me Lulu".

"Is it about a boy"

"maybe". He can read me like an open book.

" Yes " I said being very shy.

"Who tell me please tell me" he had to say while giving me puppy dog eyes. I had to change the subject

"Are your parents going to have their what ninth foal anytime soon".

"Yeah I don't want them to have another foal" he said in a sad voice as we entered the hall to the dining room. I choose the subject to ask about curse me. "Sorry I didn't mean to"-

"its fine Luna". We walk the rest of the way in silence in tell I said "you want to make a trade".

"What do you mean".

"I mean I will trade you Celestia for all of your siblings". He chuckled as he open the door to the dining hall

"your funny Luna but don't think you want my siblings". Total chaos. Food was being thrown everywhere the chairs were knocked over and all of Shadows brothers and sister were yelling at each other.

"Yes I would" I told him as he got hit it the face with salad that was covered in ranch dressing.

Right behind us were both of are parents. Just so you know my parents aren't really important. Shadows mother was the first to enter. She was the Alicorn of healing. Her fur was a white color with a rose red mane. She was not controlling just as long you listen to her and didn't make her mad. "Children how many time have I told you not to play with your food" she stated in kind voice.

" we're sorry mother" almost everyone said in unison. She coughed in to her hoof

"what was that Silver". Yes Silver Stride Shadows twin brother. I wouldn't say twin because he was a quadruplet. There was also Red Kit the oldest, Rose Pedal only girl, Silver stride being the middle child ,and Shadow the youngest of the four. Again back to the story.

"I don't know what your talking about " Silver said. Shadows father entered next a tall stallion black and white mane with black fur the Alicorn of all 4 elements. Elements (shadows father) grab silver by the ear with his magic. " Aawww Dad" Silver said pain.

"Say it now Silver Stride" said though closed teeth. Tiger lily (Shadows mother) came up behind Elements and smack in the head which maid him release Silver's ear.

"What is wrong with you Elements" she questioned.

" Sorry dear I will clean up our kids mess just don't hit me again" he pleaded. With a flick of his magic the whole room was cleaned and so was shadow's face. We took are our seats I sat next to my sister Celestia.

" So who is the special colt Luna".

Shadow P.O.V

Luna most likely hates me right. "what boy" Luna's mother said.

"Its nothing Shadow is just trying too get me in trouble".

"that's not true I was wonder why she was keeping me from getting dinner" I explained.

"Your not her colt friend you don't need to be with her all the time" Celestia told me some times gets on my nerves more than Luna does.

"Well your not Red's mare friend you don't need to get so over protective". " Wanna go shorty". I hate when she calls my short

" at least I don't have a sun on my butt".

"At least I have my cutie mark " she told me. She really knows how to hurt.

Luna P.O.V

I was mad at Shadow but he looked so hurt when Celestia said cutie mark. She might as well be talking to me because I don't have my cutie mark. I would be getting my cutie mark soon just a little more practice with my moon raising spell father taught me. I had to say something to Shadow "Shadow she didn't mean"-

"It's ok Luna mother may I be excused".

"Of course dear" Tiger lily said with worry in her voice.

" Grounded " my father said in a harsh tone.

" Luna it's time to raise the moon" my mother said sometimes I hate my parents.

" But mother I'm not ready" I argued.

"I will say when you are ready" my mother yelled. I ran out of the room and started looking for Shadow. I need to know he was ok. He was right about the boy part the was him. I love you Shadow Knight.
