Love and hatred
It had started as a wonderful day. Scootaloo had gotten her cutie mark and had a party thrown by Pinkie Pie. The party was totally awesome there was food , balloons , presents and shows. Her entire class including the other crusaders came. Sweetie Belle even had Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon to apologize for bullying her. It was the greatest day in Scootaloo's entire life the only problem Rainbow Dash wasn't there yet.

Dash had woken up recently and was on her way to her adopted sister's party but a situation came up with the wonderbolts that couldn't be missed. A terrible unscheduled storm had formed . Rainbow didn't want to but she wouid have to be late for the party so tue storm didn't cause anymore damage. The storm was huge and took 2 dangerous hours just to destroy it. Then Spifire had paperwork and drills fir her to do. Dash hated paperwork in general but right before a important event? She was totally furious with her leader! She snuck away when half the work was done and even then it had taken another 2 hours. She reached sugar cube comer but age found no party guest only Scootaloo looking sad be comforted by Pinkie.
" Hey Scoots sorry about the weather I took care of it."
Scootaloo didn't respond for a while but then said something
" I'm not upset about the weather."
Dash smiles
" your not oh that's good!"
Scootaloo whipped around to face her with rage in her eyes.
" No I'm upset because you pinkie promised you'd be here and never came !"
Dash started backing up in slight fear.
" I'm sorry squirt something important came up and-"
"Scootaloo didn't even let Rainbow Dash finish her sentence.
" important ?! I waited for you for 4 hours ! This was the single most important day of my entire life and you couldn't even take a few hours out of your " busy " day to celebrate with me !"
Dash began to tear up and stutter.
" Scootaloo I'm sorry "
Dash said but she was cut off again by Scootaloo who's wings were flaring.
" No you're not ! You're sorry for a day a then you go back to be your old selfish , arrogent self ! You see me the same way everypony sees me. As a littie toy they can just play with and promise thing to! Well you know what ?! I'm sick of being a bucking plaything to you and everypony I've ever known you're a jerk and I hate you !"
Scootaloo ran out of sugar cube corner crying. Dash tried to stop her but it was to late she was gone. Dash looked at Pinkie with sadness in her eyes.
" You should've never broken your pinkie promise Dashy."
With that Pinkie Pie left. Leaving Rainbow Dssh all alone in her sorrow and regret.
" stupid paperwork ".
Scootaloo jumped on her scooter and sped off. She didn't know where she was going abd she didn't care just as long as it was far away from Dash. Finally after a angry reckless drive she found herself in the everfree forest. Climbing up a nearby tree she sat and sulked.
" I don't need her I don't need anypony at all!"
She and everypony else knew that was a big fat lie.
She stayed in the tree for days thinking and watching the creatures of the forest.sometmes she heard a flapping sound nearby and saw what looked like a pegusus fly by.. One day that sabe pegusus sat in her tree looking tired and hungry.
Scootaloo looked at the pegusus even though her mane was messy it was a really cool blonde color. Scootaloo carefully approached the tired pegusus and nudged her she must've been a light sleeper because she woke up with a start.
" Who are you and what do want ?! "
The pegusus growled.
"Um I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you i just noticed yiu looked hungry so I thought I should help ."
The pegusus shook herself and realized the pony talking to her was a young filly.
"Um thanks kid I appreciate it. I'm sorry I yelled at ya. What's your name?"
" I'm Scootaloo who're you?"
" Nice to meet you Scootaloo. The names Lightening Dust but why are you in the everfree forest?
Shouldn't you be with a family in ponyviile
Scootaloo sighs sadly and looks down at the moss beneath them.
" I'm a orphan I had a adopted older sister but she dosn't want me around anymore."
Lightening frowns and pats Scootaloo on the back with her wing.
" Well she must suck as a sister to not want you around. I for one think you really cool for offering to help me out. Who was this jerk of a sister anyway?"
Scootaloo appeared angry for a moment .
"Her name is Rainbow Dash you've probably heard of her stunts. She cares more about these stupid wonderbolts then she does about me after all!"
Lightening Dust paused and looked into space for a moment then looked back at Scootaloo.
" You're Rainbow Dash's sister?'"
Lightening was amazed they didn't look that much alike to be sisters then she remembered Scootaloo had said adopted.
" Well she was but I had a party today because I got my cutie mark. I waited for 4 hours and she never showed up So I ran off. "
Scootaloo sighed sadly but decided to show Lightening her cutie mark which looked like a snake.
" yeah I know Dash we used to be friends. Until she ratted me out at the Wonderbolt academy and I was expelled."
Scootaloo gave Lightening a comforting hug.
" It's ok we all have somepony we wanna get back at if only huh?"
The young pegusus started daydreaming of getting her former sister back for abandoning her. Then Lightening got an idea.
" You know what Scootaloo who needs Dash?! In fact I've been itching to get back at the wonderbolts for a while now. How about this we'll team up to take down Dash together and I'll be your new sister what ya think?"
Lightening asks with a smirk on her muzzle. Scootaloo thought about it and found the idea of revenge and a new and better sister sounded awesome. They high hoofed each other and began laughing as they thought of the fait thst wouid befall their rival.
" Hey lightening thanks for being here for me. Your a really awesome sister."
She says giving the blonde pegusus a long hug.
" No problem Scoots let's go home."
Scootaloo pauses for a second remembering when Rainbow would call her that. She shrugged it off thinking that it sounded college when Lightening Dust said it. They headed off into the everfree forest towards a small shack.
