It was a great day, the sky clear, the sun shining, warm summer air.
But none of that mattered to the three Dare-Devils who stood outside a mansion, the only building in sight for miles.
A cyan mare stood, the leader of the trio. Her eyes a burning dark pink, her mane a mess of bright color, a colored lightning bolt accompanied by a cloud stained her flank.
To her right stood a cotton candy pink mare with a curly mane of darker hue, her eyes a vibrant blue, her mark was of three blue and yellow balloons.
To her left stood a rather odd sight. A dragon-pony hybrid, dark green scales that shined in the light, accompanied by bright blue eyes. He bore a cutie mark of green fire.
The rainbow haired mare glanced down at the letter in her hooves. They had received the letter telling them to come the abandoned house. It was a dare sent by one of their subscribers on PonyTube.
'Or so they claim.' She thought bitterly.
The sender had the desire to remain anonymous.
It had left a lingering suspicion in the back of her mind.
'Something here isn't right.'
"Hey Dash!" Drake yelled, snapping her back to reality. "Are we gonna go in or just sit out here all day?"
"We're going in!" She replied with a sullen undertone. "Just hold your horses!"
With that, Rainbow Dash reached for knob, turned it, and walked in.
Pinkie Pie then pulled out her camera, and began to film.
Rainbow Dash shrugged off all the seriousness and put on a smile.
The cyan pegasus then looked into the camera and did the intro. "Hey guys, Rainbooms here! Today we're exploring an old building that one of you requested! Hope you enjoy!"
The group continued through the dark hallway, unaware that they were not alone, nor that they were being watched.
The three continued, finding nothing of interest, just a boring old house.
Suddenly, the hallway split into two paths.
'Finally! Something!' Drake was getting rather bored of the nothingness, obvious by the fact that this excited him.
Pinkie smiled "OOH! OOH! LET'S SPLIT UP! SOMEONE GOES ALONE!"
"NOT IT!" Rainbow yelled.
"ME NEITHER!" Drake screamed, suddenly feeling a sense of.... Fear?
'What the buck is wrong with me!?' he thought cunfuzeldly. "There's nothing here! .......right?'
"well Pinkie" He said with a smirk, almost forgetting the feeling. almost. "looks like I go with Dash."
"Nuh uh!" Pinkie said, smiling as happily as ponily possible., if not more so. "I came up with the idea! So I didn't have ta!"
"Oh yeah!" Dash said, turning to face her two companions. She then proceeded to hoof bump pinkie pie. "Rainbow pie, for the win!"
"What?!" He shrieked "That's not fair!"
Rainbow laughed. "Don't tell me you're scared!"
"W-what?!" he glared at her. "Of course not!"
"Then don't be a chicken," she gestured towards the hallway. "and go!"
The half dragon reluctantly followed his orders, walking down the hallway, with each step growing further and further from the two friends he held dearer than his own life.
Drake stopped.
He cared about them. He couldn't live without them. They saved him. They saved him from-
There was a loud crash stirring him out of his thoughts.
"Should I...?" He whispered to himself before shaking his head. 'there's no harm in checking...'
He walked into the room from where he heard the crash.
It was... a kitchen.
Drake stepped inside to take a closer look.
It was a really nice kitchen. It looked well kept, despite the fact that this was an abandoned house. Whilst gazing at the magnificant cooking room he found a broken plate.
'This must be what fell...' Drake thought.
Then a stranger thought came to mind.
'TAKE IT.'
Drake blinked, staring at the broken plate in confusion.
he shrugged it off.
"May as well..." he muttered, picking up a large shard of the broken dish.
