Author's Note

Here's my first fanfic (on this site at least), and a crossover at that. So this season takes place during the same time as Dino Charge while also in the Equestrian girls universe, but don't expect a team up. So here's the team:

Pipsqueak: Red Ranger

First Base: Blue Ranger

Scootaloo: Yellow Ranger

Sweetie Belle: Pink Ranger

Rumble: Black Ranger

For those who don't know, First Base is the colt who appeared in Twilight Time that kind of looks like Flash Sentry. Anyway, those are the five rangers of this team, for now at least. If any of you can come up with a theme song, send me a private message or in a comment below. The theme is knights. And if you have any ideas for monsters that the rangers can fight, say that in a private message or comment as well. Enjoy.

A Noble Beginning Part 1

It was an average day like any other. Not only was it a new day, but also the first day of the new school year at Canterlot High.

"Sweetie Belle, are you ready for school, darling?!" Rarity shouted from downstairs, standing by the front door, waiting for her sister.

"Yeah, just got done" Sweetie Belle said as she came downstairs, her backpack over one of her shoulders. "And I'm also ready to start the school year off right" she added.

"I just hope nothing bad happens like last year, what with Sunset Shimmer and the Dazzlings threatening our world" Rarity said as she and her sister began walking to school.

Since this was a new year everyone was now in a new grade; Rarity and her friends had graduated last year, and Sweetie Belle and her friends were now in their sophomore year.

"I hope I have same classes as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo again this year" Sweetie Belle said hopefulness in her voice.

"Hey, Apple Bloom" Scootaloo greeted the young farm girl as she walked up to her.

"Scootaloo! I haven't seen you since mid-summer" Apple Bloom replied, hugging her old friend. When they pulled apart, she noticed something different about her. "Hey, did you change your hair?"

"Yeah, I decided to go with a new look for the new school year" Scootaloo said, waving a hand through her hair. Her hair went from a tomboyish style to one that was a bit more girly, one that was straight and could be brushed neatly, it even had a little hair clip in it.(A/N: She basically has the same hair style that she has in the motherly Scootaloo tumblr story)

"Looks good on you, it's not half bad" Apple Bloom said with a finger to her chin, an eyebrow raised and a smirk.

"Hey there, girls" the two of them turned to the voice.

"Sweetie Belle!" They both said in excited unison.

"I haven't seen you guys all summer" Sweetie Belle said, hugging both of her friends. "Nice hair, Scootaloo"

"Again, thank you" Scootaloo rolled her eyes playfully

Pipsqueak was sitting on a desk in his English class. Despite his name, he was around the same height as everyone else in his grade. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and his attire consisted of a dark blue-gray vest with a white undershirt, blue jeans, black boots, and around his neck was a red neckerchief tied cowboy style. Heal also preferred being called Pip rather than Pipisqueak.

The reason he was in class early was because it gave him some quiet time to read a book from one of his favorite fictional book series: Daring Do.

"Ah, the Daring Do books... gotta love 'em" Pip said, reading the middle part of his book.

"Hey Pip" he heard a voice. He looked up to see his friend Rumble. "Oh, hey there, mate" he greeted him.

"Reading another Daring Do book, I see" Rumble said as he set down his backpack and took a seat in front his friend. Rumble wore a black long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

"Well I like all adventure books in general, but Daring Do is probably one of the best" Pip closed his book. "Could you imagine if we could save the world like her?" He said while showing Rumble the cover.

"Yeah, like that could ever happen" Rumble rolled his eyes.

It was then that the two boys heard giggling. They turned to see the three girls Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo walk in through the door.

"Hey, boys" the three girls said to the boys in unison.

"Hey, girls" Pip said to them. Pip was the only one to respond though, because Rumble's cheeks were burning red at the sight of Scootaloo and her new look.

"Hey there, Rumble, how's it going?" Scootaloo asked casually she sat on Rumble's desk.

"N-Nothing much-- Dammit! I mean... Fine. Everything's fine, Scoots" he glanced around back and forth. "Uh, you look nice" he commented on Scootaloo's new look.

"Oh, thanks" she replied.

Truth be told, Scootaloo didn't just change her hair, she changed her entire outfit too. Instead of wearing the clothes from last year, she wore a gray hoodie with a yellow T-shirt underneath, black shorts, and black boots. Sweetie Belle had also changed her outfit from last year. She now wore a yellow blouse under a pink vest, a short pink skirt, similar to her sister's but with a magenta colored belt tied around it, and pink boots with white soles. The only one of the three who didn't change much in their appearance was Apple Bloom, but that didn't bother her much.

"So what have you guys-"

Apple Bloom was cut off by the school bell ringing, signaling for first period to begin. At that very moment all the students that were supposed to be there came rushing in.

"Alright class, take your seats" the teacher of the class said as she walked in. "My name is Miss. Cheerilee, and I will be your English teacher" she wrote her name on the chalkboard.

"Weren't ya the librarian last year?" Apple Bloom asked, raising her hand.

"Why, yes. Yes I was" Cheerilee replied with a smile. She then began to take roll-call, calling her students' names.

"Apple Bloom?"

"Here"

"Scootaloo?"

"Here"

"Sweetie Belle?"

"Present"

"Rumble?"

"Here"

"Pipsqueak?"

"It's Pip. I'm here"

"First Base?" Cheerilee said a student's name. No reply came. "First Base?" Still no reply. "Where is he?" Cheerilee raised an eyebrow.

Suddenly, the door flew open. It was First Base. He wore a blue shirt with a picture of a baseball bat hitting a baseball, light blue skinny jeans, and sneakers. "H-H-Here..." He said in an attempt to catch his breath. "Sorry... I'm... Late. Was playing... Baseball..." He finally caught his breath.

"Since it's the first day, I'll excuse your tardy. But only this once" the teacher told him.

"Sweet, thanks" First Base took his seat.

"I can't believe we have the same class together. This is year is going to be amazing!" Sweetie Belle said to her friends cheerfully.

"Let's just hope nothing majorly bad happens like last year" Scootaloo added.

Deep within space, just above the earth's atmosphere, a spaceship had arrived near the peaceful planet. In the spaceship were evil, space aliens. Leading this group of space pirates was a dragon-like creature by the name of Daegon. He was a bronze colored, wingless dragon with reptilian eyes, and wore a dark hooded cloak over a blue robe.

"Ah, Earth, one of the most beautiful looking planets in the cosmos" Daegon said, looking out of the window of his ship, holding a glass of an orange beverage. "And soon it shall be mine" he smiled evilly, taking a sip of his drink.

"Lord Daegon" Daegon's right hand man, Voldar, walked up to him with a bow. "Shall we send our troops down to the planet earth to conquer it?"

"If we must. But let's give the inhabitants of this primitive planet a fighting chance, might as well have some fun before we take it over completely" He told him.

"As you command" Voldar gave a final bow before walking out of the deck of the ship.

"Hmph. These fools have no idea what they're in for" Daegon smirked evilly, his eyes glowing white before fading back to their regular look.

School had went by pretty fast for the first day. It had just ended five minutes ago and now the kids were able to hangout together work free.

"My god school was a pain" First Base stretched out his arms.

"We hardly had any work, First" Pip told him with an eyebrow raised. He had a point, the only school work they actually had today were in their math and english classes.

"Still" First Base put his hands behind his head.

It was then that they heard a girlish scream. The six kids turned their heads to see people from their school running past them. They all gave a confused look, and then saw some weird metallic skeleton-like creatures.

"What the-?" Scootaloo raised an eyebrow.

"What are those things?" Sweetie Belle asked.

They all had either confused or questioned look on their faces... All except for Apple Bloom that is, who had look more of disbelief. There was no way they could take these on... Unless...

"Guys, ah think we should get outta here" Apple Bloom suggested.

"I agree with Apple Bloom" Rumble said.

"C'mon!" Apple Bloom said, running in another direction, leading her friends to a safe spot.

"What are we doing here?" Rumble asked, noticing they were now in a forest. This wasn't just any forest though, this forest contained the clubhouse of the crusaders.

"Yeah, why'd you bring us to the clubhouse?" Scootaloo gave Apple Bloom a confused look.

Apple Bloom didn't respond. She walked up to the tree of the clubhouse and reached up to grab a nearby branch. She then pulled down the branch as if weren't an actual branch, but a lever. The ground then opened up to reveal a stairway going underground.

"Uh, how long has that been there?" Scootaloo asked with slight confusion.

Apple Bloom walked downstairs and motioned her hand for the others to follow her. The others glanced at each other for a moment before following their friend down the stairs underground. It didn't take them very long for them to reach the bottom and when they did, what they saw surprised them all. Beneath the ground was a technological base, almost like a lab.

"Whoa! How long has THIS been here?" Scootaloo asked with shock and disbelief. "Apple Bloom, what is this place?"

"Guys, welcome to the command center" Apple Bloom raised her arms in a revealing way.

"So... Why have you brought us here?" Rumble asked, curious.

"Simple" Apple Bloom began. "A new threat has come to our world-"

"Again?" First Base interrupted her. Pip slapped him in the back of his head, which made First glare at him while rubbing the back of his head.

"Continue, Apple Bloom" Pip said.

"Like I was saying..." Apple Bloom rolled her eyes. "A new threat has come to earth from space. Since Princess Twilight ain't here any more, we don't have magic from equestria to protect us" she told them.

"So what are we supposed to do about it?" Scootaloo asked, an eyebrow raised.

"I'm glad you asked" said the farm girl. "Since we don't have equestrian magic like AJ and her friends, and since they can't activate that magic without Princess Twilight, you guys have to protect the planet" she said, holding a tray containing five devices.

"What are those?" Sweetie Belle asked, pointing at the devices.

"These are your morphers. Use these to become Power Rangers" Apple Bloom explained. She walked up to to them and gave each of them their morphers. "Sweetie Belle, you will become the pink ranger and control the unicorn zord" she said, a pink light turning Sweetie Belle's morphed on. "Rumble, you will become the black ranger and control the wolf zord" the same happened to Rumble's morphed but with a purple light. "Scootaloo, you will become the yellow ranger and control the fox zord" Scootaloo's morphed glowed yellow. "First Base, you will become the blue ranger and control the shark zord" First's morphed glowed blue. "And finally, Pip, you shall lead the team as the red ranger and control the lion zord" Pip's morphed glowed red.

"Whoa, I've always dreamt of something like this, and now it's finally happened" Pip said, looking down at his morpher.

"With powers and skills of a knight, you five shall protect the planet as the Power Rangers Noble Force" Apple Bloom said. It was then that a loud beep came from the computer monitor, showing foot soldiers attacking the city.

"Speaking of protecting the planet..." First Base looked at the monitor.

"In order to morph, just say 'Noble Force, Power up'. Now go" Apple Bloom said. They nodded and headed to where the enemies were.

Daegon's foot soldiers, known as skeletoids, were continuing their attack on the city. Everyone in the area fled the area. Everyone except for the five teens, that is. This was their chance to fight... And they were ready.

"Ok guys, it's time" Pip said in a ready stance. "You guys ready?!"

"Ready!" the others shouted, also ready.

"Noble Force, Power Up!" all five shouted the their morphing call, raising their left arms and activating the morphers on their wrists.

The morphing sequence for the team was of them falling from the sky towards a transparent version of each of their respective zords, which hit their bodies and formed their suits. They landed on the ground and the transparent heads of their zords came up from behind them and formed their helmets.

"Noble Force Red!"

"Noble Force Blue!"

"Noble Force Yellow!"

"Noble Force Black!"

"Noble Force Pink!"

"Noble knights, engage the fight!" they all shouted their battle cry as an explosion appeared behind them after they morphed. As Apple Bloom had told them, the theme for their suits was based on knights. Their suits had the respective colors, and also had the face of each of their respective zords on their chests. The sleeves and leggings were black and the boots and gloves were the colors of the rest of their suits. The suits were also complete with golden belts, Scootaloo's and Sweetie Belle's having skirts to theirs. Their boots and gloves were designed in a way that knights had theirs in the past.

The rangers got in their fighting stances and charged at the foot soldiers and began fighting them off.

Pip ran up to a group of skeltoids and kicked one to the ground. One of them tried to attack him from behind, but he ducked and grabbed its arm, throwing it into some of the other skeltoids.

First Base punched one in the stomach three times. This gave him the opportunity to hold the foot soldier and kick all the others around him, knocking the one he was holding to the ground.

Rumble dodged the skeltoids attacks. He jumped and kicked one of them while also simultaneously punching another.

Scootaloo did three back-flips, tuck and rolled forward, and then uppercut one in the face, sending it into two other foot soldiers.

Sweetie Belle kicked a skeltoid away. Another attempted to strike her, but she jumped back with a dodge. She used the open moment to spin around and kick that foot soldier away as well. She then crouched down low and swept under the other foot soldiers around her, causing them to fall flat on their backs.

Once the all of the foot soldiers were defeated the rangers regrouped.

"Well, that was almost too easy" First Base said in a smug tone of voice, the chuckling at his comment. Their moment of victory, however, was short-lived due to beams firing at them. This caused them to be flown back and hit the ground.

"What the-?" Pip raised his head.

The rangers looked up and forward to see a monster. This monster was a minotaur creature with glowing white eyes. It was wearing a brown cloth vest and a loincloth between its legs, wearing cloth boots to complete its outfit.

"What the heck is that thing?" Rumble asked as he and the others stood up.

"I am Vealer. I am a space minotaur and a warrior servant of Lord Daegon" the monster told them. "I hope you enjoyed living on this planet. Prepare to meet your maker" he pointed his blaster at them as a bright red light emanated from it.

The rangers gasped in slight shock. What were they to do now?
