“Barb! Barb where you?!”
"Dusk, I am using the bathroom right now!"
“I'm sorry Barb, I didn't know where you were but we need to find that book!
“Can you give me some time, I'm using the shower!"

"Alright, I'm hurrying up!"
“Will you two be quiet, you’re giving a headache!” said Kranos in an annoyed tone
“Sorry Kranos, I am trying to find Predictions and Prophecies!”
“Here it is.”

This is the story of Dusk Shine, a social shut in and a pretty handsome young stallion and a genius colt and we also have a good friend to Dusk known as Kranos, not known to others that he is an old friend to Celestia and Luna. And to introduce Barb, an eighteen year old longma who is Dusk’s best friend and she has a bit of a crush on him for long time after he used a spell that aged her body to age and grow like a pony.
"There is something in this text, that points to some objects known as the Elements of Harmony and it connects to a Mare in the Moon. Why would it say that?
"Maybe we should send this to the Equestria Explorer while at it." said Barb
"That newspaper service is full of hacks and my research is full of facts from over thousands of years ago. And it could help to save Equestria!"
"Or I'm right and it is a myth. Don't let an old mare's tale fool you and Lyra's been filling your with a lot of nonsense!" exclaimed Barb
"You are sometimes intolerable and I KNOW I'm right! And please don't bring Lyra into this, she is completely insane and as far as humans existing, they are still a MYTH as far as I can tell!"
“Kid, let me tell you something I know how you feel.”
“Yeah, Kranos, what is it?”
“You see when I first started to research everyone called me insane and the laughing stock of historians, when I said that Grogar was still alive.”

“Don’t even mention that name, Kranos. Dusk still gets nightmares from that demon ram!”

Dear Celestia,
I have important news to tell after a thousand years Nightmare Moon is returning at the longest day of the thousandth year. And because of her plan to kill you, we must act now.

“Okay, it looks good, send it, now!”
“Barb, can you send my letter too?”
“Sure and why do you want me to send your letter, Kranos?”

Barb shot her magic green flame at the two letters causing them to evaporate.
“I dunno big bro, about this, Princess Celestia’s a little busy with the Summer Sun Celebration, and it’s like the day after tomorrow. Prophecy or not, I don’t think that she’ll even have the time to read your crazy end of the world theory.”
Dusk gave a rather smug chuckle at Barb’s answer
“Ah, Dusk don’t get your hopes up, I know her a lot longer than you have kid. So don’t expect it to be good.”
“Ha! My teacher will always listen to me, Kranos. She will accept my letter and help send troops to help save Equestria!”
“Big bro, I have to agree with Kranos. She might not….”
Barb burps out two letters and reads the two.
“What does it say, Spike? To prepare Canterlot, rally the troops; bring my big brother in to help battle the forces of evil?”
“It says to get a life.”
“WHAT?!”
“I told you Dusk, I have known Celestia a lot longer than you.”

Get a life. You are too old for read old mare’s tales and you are too old to lock yourself up and staying up late seeing porn on PonyChan. And to start a social life outside of me, Barb and Kranos so I am sending you Ponyville to prepare them for the Summer Sun Celebration.

“And Barb, can you send this letter, please?” said Kranos in an angry tone.
“Y-yes, Kranos sir, I’ll send this to Celestia right away!” said Barb in a nervous voice.
Then Spike used his flame on the magical letter. Meanwhile at Canterlot Castle, Celestia was preparing for the Summer Sun Celebration.
“No, no, NO! The party supplies go on the carriage for Ponyville! “
“Sorry your highness, we’ll put the supplies on the carriage to Ponyville.”
“Yes, there guard, now I can relax.”
Then the letter from Kranos appears in front of Celestia.
“What is that? I told Dusk to go to Ponyville to make friends before Nightmare Moon comes. And why would he send another?”
“Uh, your highness it is not from Dusk.”
“Then who is it?”
Artemis is a one of the best guards on patrol and is not a bad looking alicorn guard and he used to be one of Princess Luna’s Night Guards and former lover.
“It is from…. Oh, buck me.”
“Who?!”
“It’s from Kranos.”
“Oh, buck. And can you read this guard?”
“Yes your highness. I’ll come and read it and you know I have a name and it is Artemis.”
“Sorry Artemis, but I need you to come here.”
“Sure princess, I will.”

Dear Princess Celestia,
ARE YOU NUTS?! Sending Dusk on this assignment is foolhardy at best and sending to his inevitable doom and not only that he doesn’t know what he is getting himself into! Please just tell him that you know about Nightmare Moon. And I do hope you are right in doing this and I will tell him about me when the time is right.

Meanwhile Dusk, Barb and Kranos arrive at Ponyville.
“Dusk, Kranos welcome to Ponyville.”
“Now Spike and Kranos we are here to prepare for Nightmare Moon and to prove that she is coming!”
“Spike let me handle this.”
“OK, Kranos go on ahead, but you won’t get through to him.”
“Well I got to try.”
“Yes, sir”
“Dusk, I would like to talk to you in a few minutes.”
“Sure Kranos, we’ll talk later.”
“OK, I’m just going to Sweet Apple Acres, see you there.”

“Well see you.”
“Okay what is first on the list?”
“What is first on the list is the one who is in charge of food, her name is Applejack.”
“Okay Barb, where does she live?”
“She lives on Sweet Apple Acres.”
“Wait isn’t that where Kranos is going?”
“Yeah let’s go there now!”
“Alright, let’s go.”
Then they go to Apple Acres and see Kranos talking to Applejack.
“So how is your grandmother doing?”
“She’s good Kranos an’ ah’m fine as well.”
“That’s good to hear and I think I am a bit peckish.”

“Why was he talking to that mare?”

“Well hello Dusk, ah’m Applejack and welcome to Sweet Apple Acres.”
“Thank you Miss Applejack.” Then Dusk proceeds to kiss Applejack on the hand.
“Whoa nelly, is this city-slicker flurtin’ with me, better rectify that.” She blushes very hard then she kicks Dusk in the privates then throws a
bucket on his head for good measure.
“Ow…..” Dusk falls to the ground
“Hey, why did you do that for?!”
“Ah was trying to get that pervert for kissin’ mah hand! And Ah’m waitin’ for some important people from Canterlot.”
“We are those people! That is Dusk Shine, the personal protégé of Celestia! And you could have easily given him a concussion!”

Then they both go to the Apple Family reunion and see Kranos talking to the entire family.

After an hour of eating Dusk, Spike and Kranos went to a well where Dusk need to… let’s just he need to take a long breather.

“Alright, Kranos I’ll let you handle it.”

“Now let’s get down to business, next on the list is Rainbow Dash captain of the Clouds dale Weather Team in charge of clearing the skies.”

Then she comes crashing down on Dusk with her butt on his face.

“Can you two stop fighting and introduce yourselves to Dusk! NOW!!!!!”
“You better leave out this, old stallion!” said both of them in anger
“Grrrrr…….. What did you say? You two idiots better think carefully before answering."
They take a good look at the 'unicorn' and immediately change their tone.
“Sorry, sir, it won’t happen again!” said both of them in fear
“Good, now introduce yourselves to him or you two will be going out of here in stretchers, got it?”
“Yes!” both squeaked in fear
“Good, now introduce yourselves.”
“The name’s Rainbow Dash, best flier in Equestria!”
“That’s debatable.” Said Courage and Dusk in teasing tones
“What did you say?”
“You have done nothing but lazy around Dash. Prove it to us that you are the best and PROVE. US. WRONG.” said Courage and Dusk trying to bait her
“I’ll clear the skies ten seconds flat.”
“Then do it.”
“Gladly”
Then Rainbow Dash puts her goggles on and flies at a blinding speed.
“Wow, she’s good.” said Dusk in an amazed tone
“Trying to get her to work and sorry for the argument.”
“That’s okay.”
“I’m impressed with that little Pegasus.” Said Kranos in an impressed tone
“I know.” Said Courage
She’s amazing and a wonderful flier I hope that she is single. Thought Dusk with a little blush on his cheeks.
“What did I say TEN. SECONDS. FLAT.”
“More like twenty.” Said Courage in a teasing mood
“You should eat those words, Courage you cocky alicorn!”

“And for that I will love to TAKE. YOU. DOWN.” Rainbow Dash said as she poured water, "And that's to wash the dirt and humiliation off."

Then Rainbow Dash, Barb and Kranos began to laugh at what happened to their manes.
“What happened? Why are you laughing?” asked Dusk
“Your manes look at them!”
“You two look like Carrot Top!” said Barb

“You’re both wrong! They look like Ponelvis with a perm!” said Kranos in a happy tone
All of them were laughing in tears
“Ha ha ha ha haaaa……. That’s quite enough torture for one day.” Said Kranos
“Yeah I’d better get into town see ya!” said Rainbow Dash
“I’ll be somewhere else trying to master some spells, see you all.” Said Courage

Then they go to the shop where Rarity is working and Barb sees Rarity in awe.

“That mare over at that clothing store!”

“I remember her; that is Rarity, the one who is in charge of designing decorations and if I remember correctly she is quite the fashion expert.” Said Kranos

Then before they could get to Rarity, Courage came with them.
“Hi guys, I am very sorry for that argument between me and Rainbow Dash. Oh, I forgot to tell my name I am Courage and you see that I am an alicorn.”

“What?!” Said Dusk and Courage before being dragged to her shop

“WILL YOU TWO KNUCKLEHEADS KNOCK IT OFF!” roared Kranos
“You better….” Hissed both Barb and Rarity
“Think carefully before finishing that sentence.” Growled Kranos
Then both Rarity and Barb turned to see who said that and immediately recognized the “unicorn”.
“KRANOS, SORRY!” said Rarity and Barb in fear
“Good now you two apologize or I will send you two into the next century.”
“Oh I am so sorry for yelling at you darling and what is your name?”
“Oh my name is Barb, best friend of Dusk.”
“Oh, I am pleased to meet you, Barb darling and are you eying at Dusk?”
“Oh!” exclaimed Barb with a deep blush
“Oh, it’s okay Barb, darling I won’t tell anyone.” whispered Rarity
“You know?” whispered Barb
“Yes, I see you have deep feelings for Dusk like me.” whispered Rarity
“Yeah, but why doesn’t he see me or even look at me?” whispered Barb
“I can see that but if you do anything to make his feelings hurt I will make your life a living nightmare.” Whispered Rarity
“I’ll hold you to it.” whispered Barb
“Now where were we? Ah yes fixing your manes.”
“Oh Rarity let me help.” said Barb
“No, I shouldn’t let you do that, let me.” said Rarity
“No, I insist.”
“Okay, I’ll let you help.”
“Thank you.”

They both start to work on Courage’s and Dusk’s manes and they were successful.
“Amazing, darling, a great job you done on Dusk’s mane, impressive!”
“Thanks, it was no problem.”
“You are most definitely welcome to come here again!” exclaimed Rarity with smile
“Yeah I might consider working here to help you run the shop.”
“We have an opening right now for cashier and haircutter.”

After the discussion with Rarity they proceed out of the shop and talk a little.
“What were you two talking about Barb?” Dusk inquired
“Nothing special”
“And she is creepy and I will never fall in love with a mare like that.”
“Know the feeling, I don’t like her either.”
“Okay who’s next on the list?”
“It is Fluttershy.”
“Thank you and Kranos?”
“Yes, what is it?”
“Why have you brought Courage?”
“Because he asked me to come with us on our assignment and he wanted to see Fluttershy as well.”
“Alright”
“Okay, come on out Courage.”
“Alright, alright I’m coming!” exclaimed Courage
They all go to see Fluttershy and Dusk blushes hard.
“Oh, great Celestia, who is that?”
“Dusk….” Barb said
By the great Fausticorn she has an amazing plot! Thought Dusk
“Equestria to Dusk…. are you there?” said Barb
Oh by Celestia she’s beautiful
“Dusk!”
“Oh, I’m sorry Barb.”
“Now let’s introduce ourselves please?”
“Okay, hello”
While they were talking she was teaching a few birds to sing.
“One of you was a little off.”
“Oh, uh hi?”
“Eep!”
Then she runs to the bush after she sees Dusk.
“Sorry if scared you, but what is your name?”
“My name is Fluttershy.” She says quietly
“Say that again, couldn’t hear you.”
“My name is Fluttershy.” She says quieter
“Okay, can you speak a little louder?”
“My name is Fluttershy.” She squeaked
“Her name is Fluttershy.” Said Barb
“A TEEN LONGMA!” yelled Fluttershy as she pushes Dusk away
“Whoa!”
“What’s your name?!”
“I’m Barb.”
“My name is Fluttershy; I am very pleased to meet you.”
“Thanks and the guy you pushed down is Dusk Shine.”
“Oh, oh I am so sorry for pushing you down!”
“That’s alright, it’s no problem.”
“No it’s not, I should help you up.”
Then Fluttershy proceeds to pick Dusk up and comes a little too close to her and accidently kiss.
“Hmm!” Dusk blushes
“Hm!” Fluttershy blushes
“I’m sorry for that!” said Dusk breaking away from the kiss
“That is alright, I picked you up too fast.”
“I’m sorry too for the kiss.”
“No, p-problem.”
“Hi Fluttershy.” Said Courage
“Oh, hi Courage, how are you?”
“I’m fine, you?”
“I’m okay, sorry for the little scene.”
“That’s alright, no need to be nervous.” Said Courage with a smile
“Thank you, Courage I needed that.”
“You’re welcome, Fluttershy.”
“Fluttershy, are you okay?” asked Dusk
“I’m fine.”
“That’s good to hear.”
“And can I ask Barb something?”
“Sure, go on ahead.”
“Barb, where do come from? Where did you live? How were you born?”
“I am not going to tell how was I born but I’ll tell where I lived, I lived in the Dragon Empire.”
“Wow that’s amazing!”
“And not only that but I am a princess.”
“Oh by Celestia herself, you are a princess?!”
“Yes, Princess Barbria de Draco, daughter of Spikerellius de Draco and Spinria de Draco, loyal assistant to Dusk Shine and Celestia and that is little of it.”
“Can you tell me more?”
“Uh, no we’d better go right now, but maybe later.”

Then after talking to Fluttershy they checked the list and no more ponies to check up on. Then they all proceed to the library and find someone is in there.
“Hi, hi, hiiiii! Wow, are you Dusk Shine?!” said the pink mare
“Yes, yes I am and how did you know that?”
“I just know things!” said the pink mare, “And I threw you a party!”
Everyone greets Dusk, “Hi Dusk!”
“Okay… this… is a bit… strange….”
“Oh, I forgot to tell you my name, it is Pinkie Pie!”
“Hi, Pinkie?”
“Oh, oh, oh, maybe we can…..”
“Pinkie, how’s it hanging?” said Kranos
“Unckie Kranos!”
“Give me a hug!”
“Okay!”
Then Kranos gives Pinkie a big ol’ hug.
“Oh I missed you, Krany!”
“You know hate that name! But it’s okay, you call me that. I like it when you call me that.”
“Oh, you hunk…..”
“Uh…….”
“Sorry” Pinkie said with a slight blush
Oh, hi Pinkie, darling!” said Rarity
“Hey everypony, how is everything!” said Courage wearing cool clothing
“Oh my” said Fluttershy
“That… is… AWSOME!” said Rainbow Dash with deep blush
“Thanks Rainbow.”
“N-no problem!” said Rainbow with a deeper blush
“You okay Rainbow?” inquired Courage
“Oh, I’m fine, Courage and look at my dress!” exclaimed Rainbow in a sexy dress
“Wow, you're looking good!” exclaimed Courage with a small blush
“Thanks, Courage!”
“No problem, Rainbow.”
While Courage and Rainbow Dash were talking, Dusk snuck away with Barb and with Pinkie Pie in tow.
“Dusk is everything alright?” said Barb
“No, no it is not! This town is crazy and the people are nuts!”
“Hey, some of them are good people trying to be friends and most wants to be more than your friends.”
“That’s… true. But we need to prepare for Nightmare Moon! If we don’t, we are doomed!”
“Kid, let me tell something, don’t go sneaking around like some sneak thief or you will regret it and relax, we need some little R&R, okay. So go back inside and have a good time as Celestia said, make some friends, alright?”
“Sure, Kranos I’ll go back inside.”
“No problem.”
They go back inside the house and then the Mayor proceeds to announce Princess Celestia’s arrival.
“Mares and gentlecolts, I would like to introduce you to Princess Celestia!”
Then an air of dark magic flows through the room and a voice booms through the room.
“MY ROYAL SUBJECTS, YOUR TRUE RULER HAS ARRIVED!”
“Oh no, we are too late!”
Then Kranos proceeds to speak, “You will not even dare to harm these ponies or you will suffer!”
“BE QUIET YOU KNAVE OR YOU WILL PERISH!”
“Then I will have to show everyone a secret, that I have not shown anypony in millennia.”
“Millennia, why are you saying that Kranos in front of everypony and me?”
“Kid, I am going show something nopony has ever seen in a long time.”
Then the room is filled with a powerful magical force and Kranos begins to transform into his true form.
“Now witness my true form that nopony has ever seen in a long time!” Said Kranos
After the transformation, Kranos reveals himself as an alicorn like Celestia.
“K-Kranos, a-are you a-an alicorn?!”
“Yes, now come face me, you Faust-forsaken demon!”
